03/09/2025: Excellent and flavorful food! The conservatory is huge, as is the restaurant itself. Unfortunately, the service, although prompt, was rather superficial and inattentive.

02/09/2025: The fried and sautéed mushrooms were exceptional; I regret not having had the macaroni served with them. The house red wine was also good. The prices are reasonable.

27/05/2025: We know that the chef we liked is no longer there, our experience refers to a long time ago. We have not been back since then - We tried the restaurant and we liked it very much. A beautiful atmosphere and a friendly and attentive service. We were welcomed with a smile and kindness. It is not the typical Garfagnana menu, the chef skillfully uses local products combining them creatively with spices and aromatic herbs. You must try the pappardelle all’ortica with fresh trout, dill and chilli. Finally a menu that also has vegetarian dishes!

15/07/2025: We only had dinner, but we weren't sure if it was open because the hours on Google were wrong. The food was very good, the service was quick and reasonably priced, and the atmosphere was very homey.

04/05/2025: We found this farm by chance and it was a very pleasant surprise. The food was delicious, even vegan and prepared with attention to detail. The place is wonderful, it enjoys a view of the splendid valley and is well organised. The staff was welcoming, punctual and kind. Direct sale of their products and animals. If I were close, I would go there often!

16/08/2025: A glass of water for a 3-year-old costs €0.50. Since I had three pieces of cake, two coffees, and a glass of water, I politely asked if I could have a tray to carry everything to the table. They annoyedly replied that they could give me one, and I was holding my 3-year-old son by the hand. In my opinion, kindness is a very important added value. Unfortunately, it's a rare commodity these days.

02/07/2025: If you are ever in the quaint town Barga, stop off here at this local spot. It’s a combination of a market, a bar, and a place to eat food. They have pasta (obviously), but other items too. I ate the Caprese salad and my husband had the hamburger (he said it was delicious).

18/08/2025: In a quality establishment like Villa Grey, you can't find stained parquet floors, like coffee stains, and then claim they won't come off, or find a loose toilet seat. We'll take action! The breakfast service is questionable, but lunch on the beach and dinner are excellent.

11/06/2025: English: Villa Grey, was a beautiful surprise, the structure very well cared for in detail, is less than 20 minutes walk from the central Via Carducci, the room we booked has a balcony and is located on the third floor, various amenities: coffee machine, complimentary water, sky, bathroom products, slippers for the beach and the room and a beach bag. We took advantage of the reservation with beach included, and we were more than satisfied with this too, a beautiful location (the beach is in front of the hotel (, well kept, two sunbeds, two deckchairs, table, safe and a chair, towels included. The beach restaurant is excellent! All the staff both at the hotel and on the beach are kind and helpful. Paid shuttle service, and free bicycles. My husband and I usually stay in 5-star hotels, but I must say that at Villa Grey, we did not regret having chosen this accommodation.

16/07/2025: I was staying near Lucca, and like always, I relied on Google reviews to find a trattoria, and I immediately found the right place: Trattoria da Bigio. The main menu is seafood (just what I was looking for). Excellent!!! Seafood carbonara and then fried fish, accompanied by a good house wine. Excellent dishes, very attractive prices, wonderful hospitality. Definitely a place I will return to for an excellent dinner!!! Compliments to everyone, including the Chef!!!!

06/06/2025: Found by chance reading the reviews on Google, we went to this restaurant one evening in a group of seven people. The place is very welcoming, furnished with various objects and posters of various films, typically tavern with wicker chairs. The waiter was very helpful, he accommodated our requests by letting us taste many dishes and courses, since we couldn't decide. Very good appetizers, exceptional first courses, especially the seafood carbonara, it was all really very good, excellent quality and excellent preparation. In the end we were all speechless, when he presented us the bill, we thought he had made a mistake, really excellent quality/price ratio! Thank you very much for the beautiful evening, keep it up!

23/07/2025: Un locale nella media. Cibo con materia prima non eccelsa,ma neanche scarsa. Fritti un po' molli, arancino un po' mediocre, babà con poco rum . Pizza invece buona e polpo alla Luciana molto buono. Prezzo in linea con le aspettative. Voto 6,5

25/07/2025: My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant for our anniversary, and it was both our first experience at a Michelin-starred restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised by the care and attention to every detail: from the service, which was very professional despite the young waiters, to the dishes. We chose the meat tasting menu, and the sommelier paired us with four different glasses of wine: everything was fabulous and with truly unique flavors, in some cases perhaps even too much for our young age. A highly recommended experience!

02/07/2025: Girolamo was very generous with his time and portions of Calvados! His colleague Asia was charming and very attentive to detail . All the staff in the restaurant were professional and my son and I look forward to our visit in 2026 and next years tasting menu.

17/07/2025: Il "Baccanale" è sempre una garanzia! Qualità e ricercatezza del prodotto, cura e presentazione dei piatti. Invitata ad una cena di compleanno, menù superlativo di pesce: a partire da ostriche e crudo eccellenti, un antipasto di polpo delizioso e morbidissimo, un primo superlativo di ravioli di pesce di cui avrei fatto con piacere il bis e ricciola come secondo . Non poteva mancare la torta di festeggiamento! Davvero una cena di alto livello e complimenti al proprietario Costantino, che nel tempo ha trasformato questo locale, portandolo a livelli competitivi di alta qualità .

29/08/2025: A very nice and modern restaurant, with friendly and smiling staff. The wait, however, was long: about 40 minutes for a pizza and a burger, a bit excessive. The pizza was truly excellent, no complaints there. Unfortunately, the burger meat was disappointing: I wasn't asked how well done it was, and I was left with a pink, unpleasant interior, but also dry and compact, far from the expected tenderness. Overall, a positive experience for the pizza, but not for the meat.

28/08/2025: Excellent gluten-free food! We had pizza and tortelloni with ragù! The quality is there, excellent flavor. The pizza had a crispy crust and was cooked well. The tortelloni were delicious...filled with meat and with a truly delicious ragù! We'll definitely be back. The atmosphere is very unique, clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly!
