At Trattoria "La Cuciniera," a warm welcome and friendliness are guaranteed. The food is excellent (meat and seafood, something for everyone), the ingredients are incredibly fresh (the fried fish is exquisite), the à la carte menu is reasonably priced, there's a €12 daily menu that changes daily, and a beautiful garden. What more could you ask for? 🥰 P.S. This is under new management, starting in January 2024. UPDATE August 2026: It's been under a different management for the past 2-3 months, but I haven't tried it yet, so the above information isn't guaranteed.

The mussel stew was spectacular! A casual and authentic place!

We ate here last night. The food was excellent, with a €22 fixed menu, but not including wine. In the end, three of us, including a 4-year-old who only had roast beef, spent €75. Average. There's room for improvement in the location and bathroom, but the food was good. We'll definitely be back, but at this point, it's for lunch. Fabulous spaghetti with clams.

We went for lunch today for the first time and took advantage of the set menu. Excellent value, tasty dishes, generous portions.

The Livorno-style cod was excellent. The fried fish was also delicious, not to mention the mixed grilled fish. The paccheri with octopus ragù, which my friends had, was excellent! Highly recommended.

A guaranteed lunch! La Cucineria proves to be an excellent choice for those who want to eat well with the set menu. Unlike many other places, quality isn't sacrificed here: the dishes are flavorful and carefully presented. The atmosphere is welcoming and clean, perfect for a refreshing break. We stumbled upon this place by chance in November, and it was a real discovery. It's become one of my favorite restaurants, and whenever I'm in Livorno, we absolutely have to stop by for a meal. Super friendly staff and heavenly cuisine, highly recommended. Affordable prices, in line with the food.

Excellent trattoria where you can enjoy excellent fish dishes, especially the cod, spectacular, all homemade and very Livorno-style. As a true Pisan, I say YES! Recommended 😃 👍

I had lunch with my family at this restaurant... we had booked in advance, the staff were friendly, the only "flaw" was the service... a little slow, but overall we had a great time... they even gave us a table away so our big dog could sit comfortably without bothering anyone. Excellent value for money.
