30/07/2025: Friends recommended this place to me, but I was disappointed, first by the wine selection on the menu, then by the generally unhelpful and unfriendly service. I'm sorry, and I've told friends about this, directing them to other good places in the area. It's a shame they almost lost customers.

18/07/2025: Very nice and well-kept place, high-quality cocktails both in preparation and presentation, as far as service is concerned, it leaves a little to be desired!

20/07/2025: Ambiente un po' freddo. Servizio discreto. Qualità si può fare di meglio. Note negative: 1-tagliata con tartufo nel menu e di sabato sera primo servizio alle 20,30 mi dici che il tartufo non c'è. 2-prendi ordini con tablet ergo non ci dovrebbero essere errori. Al momento del del conto mi ripeti a voce tutte le portate e, ovviamente, confermo. Esco e a casa noto che lo scontrino riporta 4 calici di vino e non 2. NON VA BENE. Ci vuole più professionalità. 3-rapporto qualità prezzo non sostenibile

09/05/2025: The "new" Barrocciaia has finally reopened, with new premises and staff. Let's start with the staff, excellent in every way, good at listening to customers, they deserve all the success possible!!! The dishes, look at the photos to believe them, very good and plentiful, everything perfect. Historic and characteristic location. Ideal for groups of friends and couple dinners. I recommend it without a shadow of a doubt!!! Well done everyone!!!

05/10/2025: Great place for an aperitif! Six of us went on a Friday evening in October and were greeted by friendly, competent staff who took our order and brought our drinks outside where we were comfortably seated on the sofas in the lovely square, surrounded by trees. The setting is beautiful, comfortable and classy. There's a good selection of drinks and you can help yourself to whatever you fancy from the buffet. At around € 6 per person for food and drink it's excellent value for money.Totally recommend!

20/09/2025: We stumbled upon this place because we were looking for a restaurant that served mussels. They had them, and not only that, but the pasta dishes, my squid, and the appetizers, among others, were simply divine! The staff and service were fantastic! It's a shame we didn't find you sooner!

15/09/2025: Riatopizzeria is truly excellent. A super welcoming atmosphere and attentive, very friendly service. Excellent dishes with an eye for tradition. The pizzas are in excellent condition and offer a truly wide selection. Highly recommended!!

26/08/2025: A truly positive experience The place doesn't have a sea view, but it's right on the sea, away from the crowds and noise. You don't see the sun set, but the moon rise. The pizza and schiacciatine are excellent, because the pizza chef has, I'd say, thirty years of experience!!! The owners are kind and professional, and the waitress is attentive and friendly. Highly recommended

16/07/2025: I don’t usually write reviews, but this time I feel that everyone should know where they are going and not be misled by the good reviews of others. We came with family during lunch to eat together — there were five of us. However, apart from sandwiches, we couldn’t order anything else. We asked to make us mojitos: two with alcohol and two without. The mojitos had spoiled mint and stale lemon. The drink tasted disappointing and was unpleasant. We addressed the bartender with this problem, but received only negative phrases in response. In addition, the service was disgusting: the women were unfriendly and rude. We asked for mojitos: two with alcohol and two without. The mojitos were made with spoiled mint and not fresh lemon. The drink was disappointing in taste and unpleasant. 26/07/2025: Excellent schiaccia briaca, not dry, rich in hazelnuts and flavor. Tasty and fresh croissants, well-filled cream cannoli.

09/09/2025: We just left the restaurant and unfortunately we weren't satisfied... The price/quality ratio wasn't right... we ate too little, badly, and spent too much!!!

01/09/2025: When we arrived, it was noon, and all the restaurants were closed, so we happened upon this place by chance. As soon as we sat down, they brought us the menus, but we didn't know they were out of date. They even gave us another menu written in pen with different prices. We didn't understand, so we ordered, and the food was even passable, admittedly very small portions, but then at the end of the payment they told us the menu was out of date, so we didn't understand anything. The menu they brought us wasn't updated with the prices, which were obviously inflated at the end, justifying it by saying they hadn't brought the new menus 😳, and in the end they said we also had to pay a 5% service charge. The waitress was alone, with more than 50 covers. Anyway, we had a terrible experience. The owner is a scammer. The receipt doesn't list the courses, a single price of €120 without understanding what we paid. Unfortunately, this old-fashioned way of running a restaurant, where the owner feels entitled to defraud a customer, has to stop! You should call the finance department; then you'll see how we change the menus! A terrible experience. I strongly advise against it; go where transparency is king.

27/08/2025: Very simple but decent food. The only serious flaws: the waitress's lack of sociability (perhaps too young and inexperienced) and the truly obscene and uncomfortable seating (the kind we all have in our storage room when we have unexpected and numerous guests).

27/08/2025: A beautiful restaurant with an excellent view of the valley. The dishes are well-prepared, although the selection is limited, but they are locally sourced. A good wine cellar is also available. The price is fair.

15/09/2025: I stayed a few days at Camping Il Ginperino and was delighted to stay full board at the osteria. I tried several dishes, both meat and fish, and they were all very good. Excellent value for money! Duccio and Camilla are truly kind, friendly, and helpful. Highly recommended 😊

14/09/2025: Nicely decorated, welcoming, romantic white restaurant with large prickly pears. Excellent lunch: spaghetti with squid ink, stracciatella, prawns, scampi, cherry tomatoes, arugula, were out of this world. Spaghetti with clams, tuna tartare, 1 rose, bitter coffee, all enjoyed overlooking the sea. White umbrellas, very clean beach. We found what we were looking for in a holiday. Beautiful town with lots of little shops, very clean, restaurants on the seafront, a very long beach, a small marina, and plenty of parking.

14/09/2025: Good vegetarian bruschetta, vegetable first course, and sea bass. Recommended.

08/09/2025: The manager is ignorant and rude, especially to foreigners. The food is terrible, not even at home-style level. He changes waiters and waitresses every week. And for his arrogance with diners, he blames the employees. Never again.

07/09/2025: One star because zero is impossible. The place is rundown inside and out, and not very clean. Staff are unresponsive. The pizza was almost raw, but above all, frozen (they should mention that on the menus!). We stopped by for a quick pizza before boarding; it would have been better to go hungry. Absolutely avoid! It's a shame because the location is enviable.

05/10/2025: I had a cured meats appetizer. Honestly, I have to say it was quite disappointing—the classic platter of various cured meats just thrown together. Then, at the table next to mine, two very nice ladies ordered a plate of ravioli or tortelli (I don't remember exactly) with meat sauce. And that was it...I wanted to try them. Delicious! The photos speak for themselves!

22/09/2025: The place is old, has no atmosphere, the prices are astronomical, the food is disgusting, old and smelly. I don't recommend making the same mistake I did. Best regards.
