09/09/2025: I ordered three takeout pizzas and two Cokes. I only received one Coke, and the worst is yet to come. The delivery guy was very rude, telling us that the €22 only included three pizzas and a Coke, when I was told the opposite on the phone (two Cokes). I also, coincidentally, didn't even get a receipt. Of the three pizzas I ordered, one with sausage and fries was charred, mostly the fries. The other pizza with French cheese and bacon was strangely normal, because my Diavola pizza not only had only one slice of salami, but the rest was chopped into pieces (badly cut, as it was in huge cubes). To top it all off, I found the pizza chef's hair, evidently without a proper kitchen cap. I've attached the photos, and for your own safety, I strongly advise against ordering from this pizzeria. Or, better yet, don't do it unless you want to eat badly or have an upset stomach the next day. I obviously left the pizza because I was disgusted by what I saw inside.

17/01/2026: I can't describe the sadness of this place. €50 A real shame. Perhaps it's suitable for a few people, because if we're too many, it's over. The shrimp must be cleaned; the shrimp innards are not served. The pasta must have real flavor, not pasta with an unknown flavor. Let's forget about the oyster rice, it's not worth it. The ham must be served well, presentable on the plate. For my part, for the €200 I left, I will never spend that amount of money not to eat. I will never come to you again. You're only good for people who play bingo, a disgrace to Italian cuisine.

19/03/2026: Very picturesque place! From the outside, it doesn't look very nice, but upon entering, the atmosphere is very welcoming and unique. The staff is friendly, the food is excellent, and the price is reasonable. The eggplant with chickpea cake and the warm focaccia are amazing. Cantucci and Vinsanto were offered at the end. 22/02/2026: A good pizzeria that I discovered by chance. It's a family-friendly atmosphere, with very friendly, kind, and down-to-earth staff. It's a medium-sized location with unique decor. For those who love a slightly crispy 5&5, thin-crust pizza with a very flavorful crust and well-seasoned toppings, this is the place to go. Special mention goes to the staff, who offered us biscotti and a drink of liqueurs—that's how they treat new customers. They're really good. I definitely recommend it.

29/04/2026: If you're looking for a truly excellent pizza, you've come to the right place. The absolute highlight is without a doubt the pizza dough: it's simply perfect! Wonderfully crispy around the edges, beautifully thin in the middle, and tasting exactly as you'd expect from an authentic pizzeria. You can immediately taste the genuine craftsmanship and love that went into it. The service is a bit of a mixed bag, as it varies somewhat from day to day: if you're lucky, you'll get a server who is humorous, charming, and attentive, which really enhances the evening. On other days, the staff sometimes seem a little unmotivated or stressed. In conclusion: if you can overlook the occasional fluctuations in service, you'll be rewarded with one of the best pizzas in the region. I always enjoy coming here and can definitely recommend a visit to any pizza lover! 🍕🍷

27/05/2026: Today, May 27, 2026, we are 4 friends, just to make it clear who we are talking about and so that the owner of the bar understands who he is hiring... a woman with many beautiful tattoos on her face, eyelashes and beautiful lips, we ask for Chianina burgers and salad, we specify that we want the meat rare, she with an expert air tells us that since there is also pork, the meat must be overcooked otherwise we risk getting sick... We are amazed but what does the Chianina have to do with pork, but she insists that there is pork and it is risky to eat it rare, having said that, 2 of my friends did not trust the explanation and only ate the salad... after a while the meat arrives rare... good but rare, what the hell kind of people do you hire, at least teach them what they are selling, incredible, moreover with a careful eye when she left after the stupid explanation she was making faces with an annoyed face... be careful, it doesn't take much to lose customers and make a fool of yourself, Mr. Owner, open your eyes ....anyway the meat and salad were good, another thing was that they left the tablecloths and knife and forks on the table and we had to set the table ourselves...

08/07/2026: Beautiful location, but the experience was terrible. We ordered drinks at the bar and only afterwards were told about all the restrictions. The staff were rude and made us feel completely unwelcome. The security guard kept running after the children, grabbing their attention in a very aggressive way and staring at them in an intimidating manner. He was also carrying what looked like a stun gun, which was very unsettling, especially around children. Instead of enjoying the beach, we felt stressed and uncomfortable. We will definitely not return.

05/07/2026: Excellent dinner with a sea view. The pizzas were good, but the fish dishes were special, especially the abundant soup filled with mussels and clams, very rich and delicious. The peppered mussels were also delicious. The view was incredible. Since it was a Saturday, we managed to get a table for two by booking that morning. A truly pleasant, quiet, relaxing, and peaceful atmosphere.

05/10/2025: Great place for an aperitif! Six of us went on a Friday evening in October and were greeted by friendly, competent staff who took our order and brought our drinks outside where we were comfortably seated on the sofas in the lovely square, surrounded by trees. The setting is beautiful, comfortable and classy. There's a good selection of drinks and you can help yourself to whatever you fancy from the buffet. At around € 6 per person for food and drink it's excellent value for money.Totally recommend!

06/04/2026: I went to eat at Sassi Rossi for Easter, fish-based menu with refined and unusual dishes, the fish was of excellent quality and cooked to perfection, a restaurant that has refined furnishings and a welcoming and refined atmosphere, excellent service, 5 stars well deserved!

09/05/2026: The pizza, stuffed schiacciata, zonzelle, and chickpea cake are amazing and very tasty. The owner is very good and friendly, and the staff is efficient and always kind.

11/07/2026: The food was bad for all four of us, two of them a complete disaster. My pasta was undercooked and so hard we were all speechless that we couldn't believe it could end up on a plate. The calamari was tough and fried in lángos oil like something you'd get at a carnival, and so on and so forth. No one knows why they charge a cover charge (no bread, breadsticks, or anything else included)...! Just don't go there. There are plenty of great restaurants and cafes on Elba.

05/07/2026: When we walked in, I wasn't expecting such attentive and friendly service and amazingly tasty and high-quality cuisine. The fried anchovies were a 10. We'll definitely be back.

23/09/2025: Excellent gelateria and cocktail bar, high-quality artisanal gelato (one of the best in the entire surrounding area, in my opinion). I recommend the salted pistachio, well-balanced in flavor and with a distinct savory note. Centrally located in Castiglioncello's main square, it's perfect for a delicious aperitivo in the heart of town. Good selection of wines and sparkling wines.
