09/08/2024: A few days before the trip, rereading some reviews, we left discouraged because they were negative BUT... Due premise we booked with booking through hotiday (which is not very clear if you don't read and re-read the details). We arrive at the property and are welcomed with the appropriate explanations, the room is not in the main structure but always inside the property, separate parking €10 per day (recommended because outside places are few and always occupied due to the nearby beach access). The "HOTIDAY" rooms are on the 3rd FLOOR of this structure without a lift, which for us means a few steps to climb but not adequate for a 4-star hotel since it is a fundamental requirement, like the wi-fi absent in the rooms but in the end for us It went well so we were on holiday and two flights of stairs didn't put us off. The well-kept and clean room of about 20m2 with a very comfortable terrace (in the end it fits). The temperature in the room was not very suitable (nightmare of the review read, the air conditioning does not work) but the director of the structure immediately took action to solve the problem since problems can happen but the important thing is that they are addressed and resolved as in this case within a few hours the director personally went to the rooms several times to make sure that everything was in order. The room was very clean and tidy, even when the manager had zero personal needs and we were able to agree with the cleaning ladies when to clean the room at a time different from the pre-established one. We always read in the reviews that the breakfast was not worthy of being served and I must also dispel this aspect, it is served with 3 buffet tables full of sweet and savory dishes, the dinner buffet is also notable and varies from evening to evening. That being said, a very respectable four-star hotel which is completed with the "club card" package at a cost of €8 per person for each day of stay, which gives access to the swimming pool, umbrella on the beach at the partner lido and kids' club (the only note on the beach: when booking with hotiday the beach is not the one shown in the photo).

15/02/2025: Referred to by a colleague, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PLACE, SUBLIME SERVICE, QUALIFIED STAFF, FABULOUS FOOD!!! Congratulations again to these people who have managed it "excellently" for 4 generations. We will return for you and for the gem that is the place "PORTO AZZURRO"

09/02/2025: Disgusting ice cream! Inedible, I had three ice creams thrown away as soon as they came out.. never had an ice cream like this! Luckily it says artisanal ice cream shop.. but at least when you make this thing that can't be called ice cream you taste it??.... highly not recommended!!!!

28/08/2024: In 3 adults they gave us two huge rooms as Located five minutes from the sea. Swimming pool in the hotel suitable for both adults and Close enough to shops - restaurants - games for children, pharmacy etc.

28/08/2024: As already written, the structure seems a bit shabby, which is a shame because there is a lot of potential. Despite this we had a really good time, our room despite having no balcony was quite spacious and with everything you needed, the rich breakfast, and the presence of the swimming pool was priceless. After a day at the beach, we loved relaxing for another hour by the pool where the shade had arrived in the meantime. Too bad they don't offer half board. The cost is more than honest for the period. If I were to return to Marina di Bibbona I would certainly stay here again. Ah, the sea is a 3-minute walk from the resort with free and equipped beaches!

04/09/2024: Posto troppo carino cena buonissima e personale cortese. Gli antipasti veramente buonissimi e i dolci spettacolari (lo chef è un maestro pasticcere che arriva dall’istituto Alma). Super consigliato

01/04/2025: I give one star because you can't put 0.. I have been to Riva degli Etruschi and I can say that the place is nothing short of horrendous, having had friends there for work they also informed me of the Magù restaurant/pizzeria which is full of mice specifically in the kitchen. The apartments are poorly maintained and the office staff is not very interested in it. I also specify that the office superiors are not even interested in paying their employees. I don't recommend Riva degli Etruschi at all unless you want to get robbed and/or bring who knows what disease home.

25/02/2025: When choosing the property we read many reviews and on one hand we had some doubts (also given the price) and on the other some certainties, then speaking with friends we discovered that they had already been and had enjoyed it very much. Being the first time in this resort we cannot make comparisons with the past, even if they told us the differences, and therefore we can say that overall we certainly liked it a lot and had a great time and intend to return. We greatly appreciated the welcome, the kindness and professionalism of the reception, the size of the house, the cleanliness and attention to everything related to Covid, the change of all the linen in the house after the first week, the laundry with washing machines and dryers of high quality and always clean, the place with its 35 hectares of pine forest is wonderful and relaxing, despite the full house we never found embarrassing situations due to queues and crowds, even the well-spaced umbrellas on the beach, the swimming pool well-kept, clean and not crowded, the entertainment guys were very nice and always respectful and non-invasive, a special greeting and thanks to Matteo Mattia Tommaso Alessia Elisa but also to all the others.

13/09/2024: Place with poor hygiene everywhere, old dirt everywhere on the floors, worktop, on the floor where drinks, coffee etc. are served.

10/09/2024: 2024 update Compared to previous years, there is no outdoor area and this makes it more difficult to have breakfast and a snack when there are people. The staff is always very kind and helpful I would say they are unique It is our point of reference every year when we come to Marina di Campo for the holidays. Good coffee and excellent desserts to start the morning off right or to make an excellent afternoon snack. The staff is friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend a stop

05/10/2024: Eine Bedienung war ziemlich genervt und schaute böse. Fanden wir nicht so prickelnd. Das Essen kam nicht so wie Bestellt. Viele Leerläufe, Das Essen aber war gut.

22/09/2024: In den letzten Jahres eines unserer Lieblingsrestaurants. Nun waren wir ein Jahr nicht da und waren gestern durchwegs enttäuscht. Von der barschen Bedienung, einen Eistee mussten wir schlussendlich 3x bestellen, über lange Wartezeiten, die Pommes kamen 15 Minuten vor dem Fleisch, gegessen haben wir in 3 Etappen, weil die Pizzas 30 Minuten später als die Pommes kamen, über das lieblose Herrichten der Speisen, bis hin zu den wirklich nicht guten Pizzen war alles enttäuschend. So dass wir in diesen Ferien leider nicht mehr kommen werden. Schade, denn wir kamen sonst immer mehrmals!!

29/09/2024: We have been coming to this restaurant for many years, it was our favourite, then a few years ago it changed management, and the menu also got worse, we continued to go there because we love the location and there were also some kind and affable waiters from the old management who remained, then this year we only went once, as soon as we arrived in Marciana Marina, we never went back, cold waitresses, affected by fake courtesy, even worse menu, exaggerated prices. The only thing left good is the pizza. It's a shame we only have a beautiful memory of what La Fiaccola once was

01/10/2024: Da 10 anni torniamo a Marina di Campo a fine settembre per una gara...e il giorno seguente è oramai tradizione reintegrare le energie con l'ottimo cacciucco alla elbana. Il titolare (da noi ribattezzato "capitan Findus") è molto simpatico e ogni volta racconta aneddoti sulle stagioni passate. Buon pesce e prezzi congrui.
