13/03/2025: Visiting here was a very pleasant experience. The pizzas were made quickly and professionally with a lot of heart, tasted great and were also very easy on the stomach. The owner is very friendly and hard-working and he knows a lot about chilies, which he also grows and uses himself. We were with the choice very happy and satisfied.

19/11/2024: Informal and quiet family-run place, where you feel at home, friendly service and excellent customer care. The pizzas and products used are excellent. Prices still within everyone's reach.

26/04/2025: Upon entering it doesn't seem like what it is, a place where the menu on the blackboard is read at the entrance and you order immediately. very good food, fair portions, convenient cost.

21/04/2025: Yes! Recommended: very good price-performance ratio. Incredibly good pizza dough, local wine, hospitable atmosphere. We had a pizza bianca: without tomato sauce, with green vegetables. Simple but beautiful!

24/05/2025: You can't recommend this place... And you can't help but review it as soon as you leave. Sublime welcome from the owner himself, who made us sit down and always made sure everything went well, the food was worth it with very honest prices. Abundant portions. In short, you have your cake and eat it! We were 3 people and we took 3 different main courses, appetizer and drinks and we paid an average of 20 euros per person. We will definitely return, they are worth it, in a city full of places where you can have dinner, they make the difference!!! Congratulations and see you soon!

25/04/2025: After more than 10 years we returned to the Tritone for lunch. What can I say...remained the same! Simple but well-kept environment, suitable for children: there are coin-operated cars and various games (once there was a pinball machine... it was a good opportunity to come here often). Excellent quality/price ratio, fast service, the dishes also seem to have improved: the Maremma tortelli are delicious! Very close to the sea and the Fort, highly recommended!

23/02/2025: It is the right place to relax, if I can describe it in a few words, a place near the sea is nice, clean and reserved, the staff is helpful and kind, we were only there to have breakfast and in the evening to have a coffee with ice cream. In the evenings music plays and an artist who has a beautiful voice sings, and a very welcoming place to come back again.

26/05/2025: Als je op vakantie bent op Elba , dan kun je niet wachten dat je een pizza gaat eten bij Claudio en Mirjam van pizzeria Mistral in Cavo . De pizza's zijn heerlijk. Wij komen zeker weer terug Marcel en Trijnie

24/05/2025: Era da un po' di tempo che non tornavo al Mistral Cafè, e ho deciso con mio figlio di andare al Cavo in barca, da Piombino. Se aprile è 'il mese più crudele' (cit.) , maggio è il mese più dolce e colorato per godersi l'isola d'Elba. Appena seduti ai coloratissimi tavoli del Mistral Cafè, accarezzati da un dolce maestrale che pareva spirare da un celebre quadro di Botticelli, eravamo già in vacanza. Seduti a pochi passi dall' acqua, con la barca a vista e la veduta del canale di Piombino, la Manica 'de noantri' 😁. Siamo stati accolti da una ragazza garbata e dal portamento elegante, che ci ha offerto una piccola e gustosa bruschetta di benvenuto. Dopo una breve attesa sono arrivate le straordinarie pizze di Claudio, una Juorno buono per me , mentre per mio figlio una Nicola's dal sapore squisito e dal nome che ricorda il sorriso gentile di una persona speciale . C'è poco da dire, le pizze del Mistral sono davvero speciali; ogni volta mi chiedo quanto influisca nel giudizio il clima generale di questi minuscolo locale di questa frazione remota dell'Elba. Ma non trovo la risposta. Può darsi che la stessa pizza sia ugualmente buona altrove, oppure che, come si dice, certi vini perdono il loro sapore se gustati fuori del loro 'terroir'. Certo che la magia di Maggio non la troverete in Agosto, ma a Cavo gran baldoria non c'è mai. Da terra si arriva a Cavo dopo una strada spettacolare, soprattutto per i biker (e Claudio lo è...) Quanto costa? Le pizze non sono economiche (per quanto cara possa essere una pizza!) ; grosso modo quanto Sorbillo Gourmet a Milano Duomo. C'è gara tra i due nell' esperienza complessiva? Si va ai rigori e, per me, Mistral Cafè vince 😉

22/09/2024: Everything perfect, complete proposal with fresh fish and excellent service. The wine is separate but with honest prices and excellent quality. Mrs. Paola is an exceptional host! Absolutely better than any seaside restaurant I've tried this year. Congratulations and thanks! We will be back next summer to visit you

13/09/2024: We had a great experience at Rosa dei venti restaurant. The intimate atmosphere is accompanied by excellent fish dishes cooked directly by the fisherman's wife. The business is family-run and offers a fixed menu that depends on the catch of the day. Experience recommended for those who are not looking for a tourist restaurant but want to discover authentic flavours. Very kind and friendly owners.

18/04/2025: Having passed by chance in the area today, I noticed this pastry shop! (They have been open since 2017, think about it 😂 ) The very kind lady at the counter welcomes us with a beautiful smile; I take a classic pasticciotto and another sweet piece with cherries which, unfortunately, I don't remember the name of! What can I say, excellent and truly good products! I give the pasticciotto a 4.5/5 because in the half I shared I only found one cherry (the other person got two 😂 ). I give the other sweet piece a 4/5: soft dough, very good, good filling but, to my personal taste, a mix of flavors that I'm probably not very used to. The high quality of the product itself undoubtedly remains. I'll be back soon, maybe in the morning to discover more of their delights!

15/05/2025: Everything was delicious - from antipasti to desserts to the wine card. Loved this family owned restaurant. Low season allowed to chat with the lovely owner and her son and learn about their story and how it is to work in hospitality on Elba. Menu is a great combination between tradition and novelty, with very creative combinations - e.g. tuna with strawberries. Loved the atmosphere as well, the legend of the fourth cat is hilarious! Have a different opinion of Napoleon now!
