01/03/2026: We visited this trattoria for the first time today. The seafood dishes are simple but very good, the service is attentive and authentic, and the atmosphere is welcoming. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend it if you're visiting Livorno.

18/03/2026: Pros and cons...Pretty good pizza, but really long wait times. Very low price. I went there for a birthday party. We had a large table (maybe 30 people), but I don't think there were many other tables. The fried pasta and cecina at the beginning of the meal were good, but they weren't enough to cover the wait for the pizza. The place is a bit small for such a large table. However, I only spent €15 for an appetizer (pizza, drink, and coffee). Dessert was on the birthday girl's plate!

03/05/2025: We decided to visit based on a recommendation or two and that I am a big fan of their wines. The atmosphere was very nice and so were the servers. One suggestion to the owner would be to put cushions on the wooden chairs as they were not that comfortable. Although the food was good, it didn't justify the price. I also learned that dogs are allowed in the restaurant, which many patrons took advantage. Most dogs were well behaved but I wouldn't recommend this place for a romantic dinner. We would probably not go back as we experienced better cuisine for far less. The wine however was fantastic.

15/03/2026: We booked on the fly and came here for the first time, and it was a lovely discovery. The young and friendly staff, the food was good, the atmosphere spacious and clean, the prices moderate, and there are three set menus: two meat dishes and one seafood dish, with generous portions and good quality.

29/03/2026: A friend recommended this place. The first impression was very familiar, with many historic photos of famous people who've visited. This all speaks to the passion and tradition that still permeates this place. We came specifically for the famous cacciucco, and I must say we weren't disappointed... quite the opposite... authentic flavor and a truly generous portion. I recommend one for two... The girls at the tables were kind and friendly... The only criticism I have is that the desserts weren't to my taste (zuppa inglese and tiramisu), but I consider that to be a personal preference. For the price, I'd say it's fair.

30/09/2025: For starters, we had fried stuffed zucchini flowers. They were delicious and the best part of the evening. The pasta with shrimp and burrata was a good idea. Unfortunately, the execution wasn't quite perfect. There were small, shell-less shrimp in the dish that were overcooked. The grilled fish mix had a nice selection of fish, but I actually only liked the tuna, and even that was a bit overcooked for my taste. The bread was definitely not freshly sliced. I also saw a waiter simply give bread from a table that had just paid to other guests. In summary: good ideas for the dishes, but the execution still needs some work.

10/10/2025: What can I say? The chef, with whom we personally reserved a table yesterday, has learned his craft. The "fish soup" is top-notch. The tomato sauce "soup" has a truly perfect balance between the acidity of the tomatoes and the sugar, which brings them to life. Simply brilliant. Mama Sita, in a nutshell. It couldn't be better. It was just as delicious from bite to bite as you couldn't achieve it yourself. The recommended wine complemented the taste experience positively. We had the soup for one person and shared it because we wanted a second dish. We had the homemade ravioli. That was the crowning glory. The homemade sauce, too, was a gourmet's dream. A Michelin-starred restaurant could add this chef to its menu once a month. Provided the best fresh produce is used. He buys fresh produce every morning, as he told me. So make a reservation and enjoy—it's worth every cent. And to top it all off, there was a lemon sorbet. For the lady at the table, it's normal, and for me, it's vodka and a cafe doppio. Unfortunately, it's not in the picture.

06/04/2026: Terrible, from the welcome to the bill. I happened upon it by chance at the spa, with my daughter. Tragic value for money. The so-called manager—who doesn't even greet me at the entrance and keeps me parked in front of him for 3-4 minutes without batting an eyelid—gets pissed because, upon entering, he asks for my name (huh) and phone number—("phone?! Why?" "Legal procedure," the guy claims)—which I don't give him. A seafood-style spaghetti, overcooked, tasteless, with mussels that were uncleaned and cold from the refrigerator (my daughter left halfway through). A pacchero with stracciatella and pistachios is edible. The prices are clearly displayed on the menu, so no surprises, but given the company cafeteria-like quality you only discover later, it's aggravated theft. (I call a friend, and before I have time to tell him where I am, he bursts out laughing and confirms everything.) Dear manager, you're as nice as a hedgehog in your pocket, you need to review everything (except the wait staff, who seemed knowledgeable). Terrible. Not recommended. Stir-frying them all turns them into delicious dishes.

25/12/2025: Slow service for Christmas 2025 after the appetizer maybe they forgot but the first one I had to ask what had happened, then they brought me some mini overcooked linguine passed off on the menu as tagliatelle, after that I got up and left I'm sorry but it will be hard for me to go back it's not for me
