I had breakfast with my daughter and my grandchildren. Excellent pastries as well as excellent savory dishes. Perfect cappuccinos, even the one with soy. However, I would like to make the owner aware of the furnishings, in particular the internal sofas. Please replace the upholstery on the sofas as it is stained and appears dirty. His restaurant has been the undisputed symbol of Livorno for over 50 years. My best memories of my youth are linked to his place. It was and is the favorite meeting place. Thank you for your attention.

Historic Livorno venue famous for being the meeting place of the Livorno elite. Located right behind the ardenza jetty, it is a very romantic place especially in summer. Outdoor tables. Poor parking. Medium-high prices.

While visiting Livorno they advised me to have breakfast here, a historic place that I couldn't miss. We queued to order, the staff was a bit annoyed when explaining what was inside the croissants (but if you don't write it on a card I'll have to ask you!). However, no smiles arrived. We would have done better to avoid taking the croissants, while the cakes and pastries looked inviting. I would recommend asking for a slice of cake or tart. The cappuccino is really good, there are lots of seats, they are fast and they do table service. On Sunday morning lots of people and lots of cars and motorbikes

Lungo Mare Ardenza without “La Baracchina Rossa” impossible. A meeting place for young and old that is known far beyond Livorno. I have known and visited it for over 45 years. Experienced great moments. The Lungo Mare Ardenza is impossible in the form of “La Baracchina Rossa”. A luogo di incontro per giovani and meno giovani conosciuto benoltre Livorno. The conosco and the frequento since 45 years. Grandi momenti vissuti.

Locanda Oceano Mare

27/08/2023: B&B in sasso e già, per quanto mi riguarda è tanta roba... in cinque minuti (o forse meno) attraversi la pineta e sei in una spiaggia bellissima (a fine agosto "quasi deserta") A pranzo e a cena si può scegliere tra la pizzeria/griglia o il ristorante (sono attaccati). La pizza è ottima. Il ristorante ha una buona scelta di piatti sia di carne che di pesce. Io ho mangiato solo pesce ed era tutto ottimo (consiglio la frittura). Per gli amanti degli amari vi invito a provare l'amaro del marinaio. Il personale è super disponibile e ci si sente a casa. Spero di tornare presto, deve essere bellissimo anche in autunno.
16/08/2023: In un bel contesti rustico a un soffio da pineta e mare ci si imbatte in questa locanda ben gestita con un approccio easy e accogliente. Al ristorante ottima la scelta di piatti sempre gustosi, bella anche l’alternativa più alla mano di insalatone fai da te o di una buona pizza. La sera anche grigliatone! Consigliato

05/11/2023: Il locale è decisamente grande e forse un po’ asettico( ma qui valgono le impressioni personali)Cucina tipicamente Toscana di buon livello ma senza nessu volo pindarico.Soprattutto la Fiorentina non mi è sembrata tra quelle da ricordare. Servizio gentilissimo e simpaticissimo. Carta dei vini discreta. Rapporto qualità prezzo direi discreto.
25/09/2023: Bell'ambiente, servizio cortese, prezzi normali. Buona cena a base di pesce, ma nel menù si trovano anche altre opzioni.
