Enoteca Gustavino In Portoferraio

After a wonderful day in Portoferraio, we stumbled upon this truly charming place while strolling. The first thing that made us smile was the little bowl outside for the dogs to drink: a simple gesture that speaks volumes about how attentive they are to everyone. We sat down and were immediately greeted with a super-detailed explanation of the menu. There's no printed version because they offer something new every day, and that's exactly the beauty: the waiter explains everything with passion (and you can even take a photo of it on the updated blackboard, if you like). On their recommendation, we ordered a mixed antipasto and... well, everything was truly delicious. The meatballs were incredibly delicate, delicious, and perfectly balanced; the stuffed mussels were surprising, with combinations we never would have imagined but were absolutely successful. But the real star was the tuna salad: simply out of this world! Marinated tuna with orange zest, basil, and other ingredients that create a spectacular mix of flavors. I dreamed about it last night! Next, we tried the tagliolini with spider crab and the tagliolini with anchovy sauce, both delicious and carefully prepared. Thank you so much for this experience! It's a shame we found out you're only open for dinner, otherwise we would have returned immediately for lunch before leaving. But one thing's for sure: when we return to Elba, this will be one of our first thoughts!

Excellent discovery! Very good, unpretentious Italian cuisine, a wonderful welcome – it's perfect. I highly recommend it, don't miss it!! Go there with complete confidence.

We're a somewhat large family with a two-year-old daughter and a large dog, but we were frightened and welcomed by the waiter, who set us a table out of the way. The mixed house antipasto was excellent, the Tonnina salad was pure delight. The penne in barca was exquisite. The desserts were also excellent: biscotti with Amarone and chocolate mousse. There's a nice selection of wines. Worth a try. The indoor space is small, so if the weather is bad, it's best to book.

Good food, a little too salty. The only flaw is the smell from the kitchen sticks to you as it is one with the dining room... excellent service.
