05/07/2025: A very well-kept place that offers an excellent Tuscan menu: very well-executed and balanced dishes. You absolutely have to try the pappardelle with wild boar, raisins and vin santo as well as the summer wild boar with apples! The staff is kind, welcoming, smiling, attentive but discreet with customers. Well done, keep it up! Da Tronca is a pleasure for the palate and the spirit!!!

03/07/2025: Not an easy place to find, but nice, well renovated in local style. Good location also for outside seating. Young, kind, welcoming staff, but awkward with every request: the bread arrives late and on the third call, the oil too, the critical comments, unfortunately, they do not receive and do not handle them as they should. Good local red wine, decent bread. The appetizer of 5 mixed crostini is made questionable by the excessive use of thyme and other spices: only the sausage one is good, the liver one is barely enough and perhaps the onion one, the other two are rejected. The main courses (cow cheek and pappardelle with white wild boar ragù) are well cooked, but lack a well-defined flavor. The cantucci with vin santo are just passable, while the zuppa inglese is a poor imitation of its industrial version: rubbery, dry, almost devoid of alchermes. For an appetizer, a first course, a second course, two desserts, wine (half a liter), water and two coffees, the bill is 76 euros: a bit high in itself, indigestible for the quality of food and service. Regret having chosen them.

15/07/2025: Had a great dinner there. The pici pasta was excellent and the deer stew was done to perfection. As for the service, they were attentive, friendly and really seemed to enjoy their work (which is great to see).

15/06/2025: Da Nada sei a casa. In sala sono sempre con il sorriso, ti aiutano nella scelta e ti fanno sentire a tuo agio. Il cibo è di qualità, la proposta è senza fronzoli e va subito al sodo: cucina toscana fatta bene. Prezzi pure troppo bassi secondo me. Andateci e nn ve ne pentirete.

24/06/2025: Sabrina and her husband run this place with wisdom and hospitality, with excellent indoor and outdoor spaces, and their pinse have proven to be a very successful alternative to the usual pizza. The menu also ranges towards other delicacies, including interesting first courses and exquisite desserts, and the place deserves 5 stars, also for the honest prices that are always a pleasure!

02/07/2025: The two of us managed to get a table even without a reservation. The pizzas arrived quickly, were authentically Italian, and very tasty. The view of Roccastrada from the terrace is magnificent. You just have to wait a bit at the counter for the bill, as the pizzas had to come out of the oven first. 😉

02/07/2025: I stopped by this trattoria right at the historic entrance to Capalbio for a quick dinner that turned into an experience: what can I say, a discovery with a capital S. Authentic trattoria, real flavors, an excellent mix of tradition and modernity. Pici with white pork ragù of indescribable softness. Highly recommended

18/05/2025: I think it's one of the few places left where everything is cooked on the spot. Last night we wanted to have dinner in Massa Marittima and we couldn't have ended up in a better place. Few seats, everything managed by the owner who offers different dishes every day. Everything is delicious. Congratulations Caterina, we will definitely come back to visit you!

She cooks everything on the spot, the pici pulled at the moment even the involtino cooked express. I've never eaten in a place like this. 08/07/2025: We spent the weekend there for a hen party. Everything was perfect, from the breakfast to the restaurant, the pool, and the riding stables! The apartments were clean and welcoming! We'll definitely be back.

06/07/2025: Pessima esperienza di prenotazione. Richiesta preventiva di dati personali compresa la carta di credito. Risposta arrivata dopo quasi 6 ore perchè sollecitata. È evidente l'intenzione di privilegiare alcuni a scapito di altri. Richiesta rifiutata ma con addebito di commissioni sulla carta.

05/07/2025: Una piccola perla... abbiamo preso il menù degustazione 3 portate, che poi in realtà sono 4 perché è compreso anche il dolce. Antipasti molto curati e mai banali, celeta marinata davvero eccezionale. Carbonara di cozze e bottarga incredibile, fatta con pici home made e fin troppo abbondante al punto da fare fatica a finirla. Chiusura con tris di lacierto, pesce bandiera e cefalo con julienne di carote e patate... nella semplicità si sentiva solo il sapore del mare. Buono buono buono...e del tramonto sul mare vista Elba ne vogliamo parlare?
