06/12/2025: Stroll to the Barberino outlet, and stop at this place. Decorated like a fishmonger's and priced like a nearly Michelin-starred restaurant, where a Coke costs around €4. The Neapolitan appetizer was laughable despite its name, and of poor quality. The tagliatelle with mushrooms (let's say porcini) was overcooked and unsalted. Forget the 1-liter bottles of water, of which only the price tag remains. I won't be returning, and I highly recommend it!

14/11/2025: Steer clear. Waited over 50 minutes for us to be told the pasta is 'almost there'. Dont wait in other people's smoke, find a different place for your meals.

30/11/2025: On the plate, we see a dish for two. Salmon, deep-sea fish (a real eyesore in nature), and shrimp, with perfectly prepared spinach as a side. Everything tasted delicious, especially the espada. The grilled white meat was phenomenal. The staff was very friendly; I get the impression that the negative reviews are from another place, or that the critics have royal standards. I recommend it 🍹

12/11/2025: It wasn't tasty. We stopped in by chance and didn't like it. The pizza was bland, the caprese was terrible, and I didn't finish the meat.

09/12/2025: Highly not recommended. Just appearances! There is nothing that works... we took a suite with a Jacuzzi but we only looked at it 🤣 without being able to use it.... the water was cold even the shower with cold water, the room was poorly heated, cold air came in through the windows, very dated. The sofa was a piece of marble as hard and uncomfortable as it was. From the bed you couldn't see the TV because it was on the opposite side! The shower leaked water... indelible stains on the floor of which I don't want to imagine what! The next morning when we left and pointed out that at least they could offer us hot water since it was the month of December, the lady at reception replied that it was a suite to be booked in the month of August 🤣 .... the only compliments I give go to whoever took the photos to put on booking!!!

09/12/2025: Extremely Disappointing Stay – Never Again I stayed in the “Beatrice” attic room at Palazzo Ciompi in Florence, and I honestly cannot understand how a room in these conditions can be offered to guests. Yes, the room looks charming at first sight, but the reality is completely different. The amount of maintenance problems is shocking and far below even basic hotel standards. The room was full of issues: freezing drafts coming in from every single window, air conditioning completely non-functional, and a bed so uncomfortable it was almost impossible to sleep. The pillows were flat and cheap, and the overall bedding felt like something from a budget hostel, not a supposedly decent hotel. The bathtub placed awkwardly in the middle of the room is not only impractical but also clearly neglected. There were visible limescale residues, and the upper part of the shower was broken, making it nearly unusable. It felt like no one had inspected or properly maintained this room for far too long. On top of the cold temperature in the room, we were woken up early by pigeons literally hitting and cooing at the window. Between the noise, the cold, and the poor bed quality, resting properly was impossible. Things only got worse when we arrived: the elevator was out of service, and we were forced to carry all our luggage up to the top attic floor. After a long trip, this was an extremely unpleasant start. Staff-wise, the receptionist was kind and tried her best, but it was clear she was left alone to deal with all the check-ins and also to fix mistakes made by the rest of the team. This is a sign of poor management and a lack of organization, not staff dedication. Parking is another poorly handled aspect. Guests should be clearly informed that parking must be reserved ahead of time. Otherwise, you end up paying more for an external parking solution, even though the website states a clear price of 25 euros “on-site”. And finally, one of the most unacceptable details: reception opens at 10 AM on Sundays, but check-out is at 10:30. Meaning that if you need to leave earlier, you simply can’t. You must wait for someone to show up. This is not how a hotel should operate. I chose this place again because last year my stay was decent, but after this experience I can confidently say I will return to Florence, but absolutely never again to this hotel. The value for money is extremely low, and there are many far better options in the area.

01/10/2025: The ravioli plate is only 8 pieces of ravioli, barely had any flavor. They charge you for the knife and forks. Bathroom was dirty.

27/09/2025: 5€ "sprinkler" fee, which was actually a piece of paper, and a 10% service charge In reality, the food wasn't even worth the amount mentioned

23/10/2025: The view is beautiful, the food is quite decent. However, they add 10% to the final bill in addition to the €3/person cutlery. The store/café restrooms were filthy. For a store that claims to be chic, this is deplorable.

20/11/2025: We spent €32.50 each, including the 5 children: consider that the kids each had a half portion of pasta and THAT'S IT. The 7 of us adults had just one course each, a few appetizers to share, and a few desserts. A single bottle of cheap wine and the rest were water. All of this would have been fine if the quality and quantity had been decent, but they weren't. My ribollita tasted like nothing; it was basically wet bread. Plus, at this price, I imagine I wouldn't have to set the table and go to the cashier to order. We won't be back.

19/10/2025: Garbage Service. You have to draw a number to order. I drew number 28. It took 45 minutes to go from 21 to number 28. In which world does it take this long to record the order of 8 pairs? Cant say anything about the food. Was to fed up with waiting...

20/06/2025: Ristorante ormai di fiducia, dopo anni e anni non delude mai. La qualità prezzo è impeccabile, la scelta dei piatti è ampia e il servizio è davvero professionale, i camerieri sono sempre disponibili e Leonardo è davvero un ottimo padrone di casa! L’accoglienza e l’atmosfera sono sempre al massimo! Consigliato

15/06/2025: Cibo di qualità nella norma, alcuni piatti più buoni di altri ma diciamo niente di particolare, piatti che chi ha un po di dimestichezza in cucina riesce a cucinare tranquillamente a casa propria. nota dolente l'attesa, decisamente troppa; e la maleducazione di un membro del personale che lascia veramente perplessi tanto da non tornarci più. Unica nota di merito alla cameriera, molto gentile e professionale.

01/11/2025: The prices are outrageous, the selection is limited, the ice cream is mediocre, and they try to push you into larger portions, pretending they don't understand. Avoid this place, especially since there's a decent place 50 meters away from the cathedral, with decent prices, a wider selection, and a normal approach to tourists.

01/07/2025: Non sanno che significa stare al pubblico ! I pezzi salati (panini etc.) non portano mai il cartellino del costo. Schiacciatina tonda di circonferenza 11 cm al costo di 5 euro con formaggio e melanzane. Un succo di frutta, normalissimo 3,50 euro al supermercato il solito a 1,50 euro ! Non c'è male come ricarico !

22/06/2025: Excelente servicio para nuestro grupo escolar. Buena comida. Preciosa decoración en un espacio fresco. Los 3 platos eran muy sabrosos y frescos. Nuestro camarero trabajó muy duro y era encantador.
