24/07/2025: Terrible service! The owner/or the person serving at the counter was rude. Who knows, maybe she could have been right in charging me 2 euros for the cappuccino instead of 1.50 (as indicated on the price list on the wall, since I sat at the table near the counter, where no one served me anyway, but I brought my own cup), but she preferred to show off her indifference, thus losing a potential customer, given that I live just steps away from the bar. We're talking about a trifle, but it's in the little things that you can see the attitude of someone who does their job well or poorly! Let's keep going like this, hit-and-run!

20/06/2025: Consigliato da amici, da parecchio tempo volevo provare questa pizzeria. Il posto è semplice, ma carino, anche se purtroppo in questo periodo è penalizzato dai lavori stradali della tramvia. Il personale è gentile e veloce. Le pizze sono superlative, sicuramente tra le migliori di Firenze. Abbiamo preso tre pizze gourmet, tutte buonissime. Impasto leggero, spessore della base e del cornicione giusto, cottura ottima e condimenti di primissima qualità, con profumi buonissimi. Ritorneremo di sicuro.

16/06/2025: Esperienza non molto positiva a Don Fefè di San Donato a Firenze. Il 4 giugno ho organizzato la cena di classe di mio figlio. Eravamo 52 e ci hanno fatto giro pizza + acqua e 1 bibita a 25€ a persona, indistintamente fra adulti e ragazzi/bambini. La pizza non era male. Abbiamo avuto da discutere soprattutto con una cameriera con le meches bionde, perchè alcuni bambini bevevano solo acqua e noi abbiamo chiesto di portare a noi genitori la bibita che non hanno preso i ragazzi e convertirla in birra o spritz. In 2 siamo riusciti ad ottenere questa cosa, il terzo no, perchè secondo loro il numero delle bibite prese dai ragazzi non giustificava una birra in più... 25€×52 e anche se fosse stato non vi ci rientrava di portarci una birra in più? In media non è arrivata una pizza a testa, perchè alcuni erano soddisfatti con 2/3 pezzi di pizza.. e non ci rientrava una birra in più? Esperienza da non rifare! Alla cassa ci avevano detto che non c'erano problemi, ma la cameriera evidentemente aveva più potere e alla fine non siamo venuti via contenti.

08/10/2025: The pasta and Fiorentina were really delicious. At first, they cut too much meat, so I told them it was too much, and they said they would reduce it, but I think they were annoyed and just gave it to me. The portion was huge. It was 5 euros per 100g, which is 50 euros per kg. It was half the price of Nutina D'Aloste, but the quality was the same. When the bill first came, it was 7 euros per 100g, but when I complained, they immediately adjusted it to 5 euros per 100g. They even gave me a 10% discount, so I was really impressed when I saw the price tag. In Korea, a T-bone steak costs 300,000 won just for the meat, but 1.6kg of T-bone steak, pasta, salad, baked potato, and 1L of house wine came to 127 euros... Is that really true? It was honestly the cheapest I ate in Italy. The meat was mostly sirloin, and the portions were huge, so I was disappointed that I couldn't finish it all. I was so touched that they gave me a cup of coffee and a glass of limoncello as a free service when I left. I will definitely visit again next time I come to Florence.

06/10/2025: Seriously, come check this place out — it’s a total scam!!! They were super sneaky too — while we were still looking at the menu outside, they came out and dragged us in before we even had time to check the reviews!!! The clam pasta was absolutely terrible — no flavor at all. We ordered the steak medium-rare, but most of it was almost well-done. We clearly asked for about 700 grams of the €5 per 100g steak, but when we got the bill, it showed over a kilo — and they charged us for the €7 meat instead! They never even showed us the cut before cooking — just served it straight away. It was such a horrible experience. We spent the whole walk home ranting and cursing — I’m so mad, that meal cost almost NT$5,000 (EUR 135) = = Oh, and we just realized the roasted potatoes that came with the steak were charged separately too. ^^ If you can really read Chinese, come and see this place! It's a complete rip-off! They were so cunning! They shoved us in while we were still looking at the menu outside, without even checking the reviews! The clam pasta was awful and tasteless. We ordered our steak medium-rare, but most of it was barely cooked (and we only ordered a little over 700 grams, 5 euros per 100 grams, but when we checked, the scale showed over a kilogram and they charged us 7 euros. They didn't even check the portion size before serving it). Absolutely terrible. After dinner, I walked home grumbling and swearing all the way home. So angry! They gave me back almost NT$5,000 = = Oh, and I just realized they charge extra for baked potatoes with steak. ^^

06/10/2025: This place offers literally everything: pizza, pasta, main courses, sandwiches, and burgers, to name a few. Everything is delicious, and the service is fast. Prices aren't exactly cheap, especially the cover charge, in my opinion, but it's still worth a try. The tiramisu is also excellent. Recommended.

29/09/2025: I have been frequenting this place for decades but from Friday 26 September I will no longer frequent it due to an incident that bothered me. I ordered a sandwich with lampredotto and a quarter of wine. They brought me the good sandwich and the wine in a good glass but when I paid they made me pay for the sandwich and ok the wine is ok but also 3 euros for a glass that I had not asked for the glass, a normal glass was enough for me. It seems like a joke. I didn't say anything to them but I won't go there again.

14/10/2025: A bit disappointing for Italian ice cream, but not bad.

03/09/2025: The tour guide recommended it to us, and they tried to scam us! We ordered the €3.50 glass and asked if two flavors were possible. They said yes, and when we went to pay, they told us adults had to pay €5. Nothing was specified, and they were just messing around, thinking we couldn't understand them. My wife knows Italian and realized they were trying to trick us.

21/08/2025: We went for lunch, and it was great. Good food, excellent service. Friendly and cheerful.

06/10/2025: A bit confusing, but you pay first, then go to “order” your food at the counter after. When it wasn’t busy, staff was friendly, but could see it becoming very confusing during peak hours. The sandwiches were pretty good, but not amazing. Similarly, the americano was tasty, but seemed to be watered down compared to other places. Not worth a detour to come here, but if it’s on your way, it’s a solid option to get some food for take away

11/06/2025: Scrivo una recensione negativa perche sono rimasta molto infastidita dal comportamento del signore alla cassa. Eravamo in tre e volevamo pagare ognuno una cifra diversa ( avevamo da noi fatto il conto, chi offriva da bere , ecc..) ma il signore aveva già deciso che il conto era da pagare in parti uguali. Ho mostrato il mio disappunto ma ha fatto orecchie da mercante e ci ha passato il pos per la cifra da lui stabilita, non ho voluto fare discussioni tanto non voleva ‘sentire’ Per il resto ..ambiente e cibo piu che sufficienti.

07/05/2025: Bel posto, pulito, e ben organizzato. Ho cenato soltanto con la pizza, quindi mi limito a dare solo un breve giudizio.. ottima.. e servita in tempi molto rapidi, dato che era sabato ed era pieno.. Prezzi in linea..

27/09/2025: I go there often, every time I've been there I've always had a great time, excellent lunches or dinners, friendly staff... and in the summer, if you book on the terrace you can even stay cool!

23/09/2025: If I'd seen the reviews for this place before trying it I probably wouldn't have, so I'm glad I didn't. Best plain croissant I've ever had and very good espresso, and not crowded despite the location. The croissant was perfectly light, airy and chewy, much better than ones I've gotten from cafes with much higher ratings.

14/04/2025: Boiled pizza floating in tomato sauce. If you want a good, crispy pizza cooked to perfection, you're in the wrong place. Raw pizza and tons of liquid tomato sauce. Something I've never seen before. In my opinion, no.

13/06/2025: C'est dur à Florence, ville "surtourismée", de trouver des endroits à recommander (d'ailleurs je n'écrirai pas d'avis sur notre hôtel...) Le Cibreo caffè en est un... Terrasse agréable, salle très chouette, bons vins, bons petits plats, service aimable.

11/06/2025: En general, restaurante sobrevalorado y fue un fracaso. Comimos una noche para cenar. Quería probar las 25 mejores pastas, lo cual fue súper decepcionante. Imagínate la cena Kraft (Mac y queso, de Kraft) y así es como se sabe. tarta de queso también sobrevalorada. El servicio era mínimo en el mejor de los casos. Fuimos ignorados la mayor parte de nuestra comida y tuvimos que pedir cosas repetidamente. En nuestro viaje de 11 días a la Toscana esta fue nuestra comida más decepcionante.
