23/08/2024: Good evening. We have been guests for 17 years. Top again every year, no matter who the owner or capo is;-) senior capo or junior capo always top. The ambience in earlier years or now in younger years is always appropriate. Thanks for that. I think 17 years of time and again say enough about primo personale, cucina e Capo GRAZIE

25/08/2024: This place was highly recommended and after confirming online that it was open, we walked 30 minutes only to find that it was closed... for the month of August. Would suggest that ownership update it's hours of operation in Google maps if it's going to close for month. The website/facebook page indicates the closure however that isn't where most travellers first look for directions or operating hour info.

02/08/2024: Unfortunately not the best pizza. Was very average. Felt like everything is mass produced. Not worth the time waiting in the queue. Just shows you how misleading these reviews can be.

15/08/2024: Typical place where time seems to have stopped. It's a shame that at 12.25pm ​​on August 15th with all the tables booked, but with the place completely empty they didn't accept an additional table of 1 who would have eaten, or rather digested, before the arrival of the last ones booked. Huge and completely empty external veranda. They could have accommodated me there. With a little more attention and desire they would have satisfied another customer who would certainly have spoken well of their welcome. Too bad for them.

13/08/2024: Very good cuisine, quality and creative, original dishes and warm service. A bit expensive though. And we had very noisy neighbors.

28/07/2024: We had a great time. The owners were friendly and attentive to needs. Familiar but attentive service. The rooms were clean and both breakfast and dinner were really good. Good products, cooked well.

03/06/2024: Wir waren mit dem Rucksack in der Toscana unterwegs und ohne Auto bei schlechtem Wetter in Bagno Vignoni gestrandet. Wir landeten zufällig in dieser super schönen Bar, wurden freundlich bedient, durften die Rucksäcke zum erkunden der Thermalquellen stehen lassen. Alle war gut gelaunt, schnell und bemüht. Einfach super 🤩 Wir kamen abends nochmal wieder, wurden herzlich empfangen, hatten tolle Gespräche und wurden vom einem Kellner unsere Weiterreise betreffend gerettet. Danke! Es war eine Freude bei euch allen Gast gewesen zu sein 🤗

30/07/2024: Apartment hotel that shares a restaurant and pool with camping cabins. We had breakfast which was included, it was perfectly fine. Some noise from the street at night. quite far to walk down to the beach. It included umbrellas and two sunbeds on the beach because we were staying at this hotel. For adults there was only one pool. No gym. Supermarket directly next door. Refrigerator, dishwasher, etc.

25/07/2024: We were satisfied with the accommodation, close to the beach and restaurants, at the same time not so busy place. They serve breakfast perfectly until 11:00 a.m. and keep adding to it. Communication and staff also very nice.

01/09/2024: This restaurant has a panoramic view of Florence. Reservations are not required, but it is convenient if you do so. The night view of Florence is beautiful. The restaurant atmosphere is also great. The employees have good manners and the food is also good.

12/08/2024: Very nice place with tables both inside and outside. Wide choice of both local and non-local wines and wonderful platters. We opted for the prosecco and oysters formula. Prices are normal for being on Elba which as an island is among the most expensive I have ever visited. The girl at the service was very good and fast. Try this little place and you won't be disappointed!

25/07/2024: Place with a pleasant atmosphere The owners especially Mrs Cristina are always friendly and kind. The platter of cold cuts and cheeses is excellent, always accompanied by a good wine recommended by Mr. Antonio. Pleasant evening we will definitely return

26/08/2024: We went for a family dinner a couple of nights ago. Rating penalized by the fact that they do not have a menu and the bill revealed an unpleasant surprise: €96 for two first courses, two starters, a dessert and two small beers. Having then not reported the details of the costs per dish on the receipt, we had the unpleasant sensation of being caught in a noose, because tourists, who had just arrived... and were served in the late evening.

23/08/2024: I went for lunch with my family on August 14th but the first time I called on the phone to reserve was around 1pm the owner asked me to hurry up and get there when I said I was 15 minutes away. Upon arrival, it doesn't make a great impression from the outside with fake Christmas-type lights and it looks more like a bar than a restaurant. We are a little taken aback but I see bottles of Vintage Tunina and Cervaro della Sala on display and as a good sommelier I say to myself if he has these bottles it means the food is good. The place was practically empty and I had to call if anyone was there, the decor was of dubious taste with counters displaying cans of fanta, coke and even a plaque as the best restaurant in Follonica (hopefully I say). The owner already welcomes us with a crooked tone because we had a small dog but perhaps because he wanted to hurry he shows us the table. After a while while the owner was taking orders he interrupted arguing at a distance with some kids who came in wet from the nearby pool and then argued loudly with the staff if they understood Italian for a dish and all this while he was in front of us. Honestly not a nice atmosphere and if it wasn't because I was a guest we would have left as did another guest where the owner's response was go ahead and that's fine with me. Meh! As for the food we took a simple pasta with sauce, a spaghetti that was supposed to be with clams but then only clams and empty ones at that even if the taste was decent. The fried fish at €25 I expected something more as the predominance were potatoes. I ask for a Muller Thurgau and the owner comes back with a Pinot Grigio and as soon as he begins to affect the capsule I point out to him that the bottle was not correct and he immediately counters by saying that I had asked for that one and angrily brings us the one ordered. In the end we take a crem caramel advertised in the 80s, not bad but it was a simple crem caramel. Every now and then I wink at the best restaurant in Follonica and ask myself, how can they award such prizes? Honestly, we could turn a blind eye to the food but the owner was really irritating and the atmosphere was cut with a knife and this didn't allow us to have a peaceful lunch. On the way out I see those bottles of white wine that were just a facade because they weren't present on the wine list and I tell myself what a less appropriate name because there was very little of Meraviglioso.

22/08/2024: The pasta carbonara and cacio e pepe were very good. Eating on the raised balcony is also nice. Prices vary depending on the price, but there are also cheap items. Unfortunately we couldn't reserve online because the whole month wasn't possible. We were able to make a reservation by phone without any problems.

04/08/2024: The place was nice, the staff were friendly but the price was too high for what we ate: two first courses, two fried foods, two glasses of wine and a water, €80, I find really excessive. The fried foods were good, medium portion, the seafood first course was a little salty. Prices are probably average for Piombino but remain excessive in my opinion.

30/07/2024: I was there on Sunday evening with my girlfriend. I ate reasonably well... let's say that the value for money is good.

27/02/2024: Bravi tutti! Il cibo molto buono. Nel gran tagliere Vasari, il crudo era delizioso! Prezzo accessibile! Il tortino, tra il tiramisù e il sorbetto era davvero e eccellente! E poi hanno trovato pure una candelina per il compleanno della mia amica! Bravi ragazzi
