01/03/2025: Sublime breakfasts, very assorted pastries with sweet and savory options

05/04/2025: Not exciting food, crostini with baguette bread, Tuscan bread would be preferable. First courses drowned in cream which covers any flavor and is cloying. House wine quite good. Prices not exactly cheap considering the place and the environment.

05/04/2025: Ancient trattoria with adjoining shop in an old building, perhaps a customs house from a few centuries ago. Of course, when you enter these places you don't expect a restaurant with frills but you always think you can eat traditional dishes. The dishes were sometimes satisfying, sometimes less so if the croutons had a good accompaniment, especially the livers, it was unfortunate that French bread was used instead of the excellent Tuscan bread they presented. The cured meats are also good, the dried sausage and finocchiona while the capocollo and ham are so-so; instead of the cracklings which were from a scarce supermarket, two slices of lard made a better impression. What can we say compared to good table service, there is a cuisine that should improve at least in the preparation of the first courses.

03/03/2025: To eat a first course and a second course for 5, last Sunday we stayed from 1pm to 4pm and we left without eating dessert or drinking coffee.

25/02/2025: The name Osteria is a bit misleading in reality given the well-furnished room and the type of dishes and it is also a restaurant of a good standard. We tried some fish dishes, all good, even the portions are not like an Osteria like the prices, however adequate for the quality. A place to stop and eat if you want to eat well but it's not the out-of-town Osteria.

30/10/2024: Amazing cappuccino and delicious fresh cakes. Would definitely recommend a visit to Catene Cafe, the coffee was something else!

10/04/2025: 5,0 - we as Tourists searched a Place with good Food and nice prices, and this Place is just incredible! Good Service, super good Food especially the Pasta and meat and salad and the tiramisu is heaven! Everyone should go here, if you visit San Quirico!

24/04/2025: To say that you eat well is an understatement, I have never eaten such a good sandwich. All the ingredients go together perfectly and you can feel the quality of the ingredients, plus an excellent selection of music. In the city, and perhaps even in Italy as far as I'm concerned, it has no rivals.

08/03/2025: The place is small and very well looked after, even the search for dishes is not trivial. The hamburger meat was cooked well (rare) and this shows the quality of the product, the tartare was also very good. The only flaw was the service, I had asked to bring the tartare first as a starter but it was all brought together with the sandwiches. For the rest, the place is recommended even if the prices are a little high for being in Lucca.

22/03/2025: Ambiente piu’ che vintage direi vetusto…una bella rinfrescata non guasterebbe. L’offerta infatti rimane si piatti storici dedicati a una clientela piuttosto age’…ho ordinato le bavette ai ricci di mare portati la prima volta molto molto piccanti il sapore copriva il gusto del riccio, abbiamo fatto presente e ce li hanno riportati un po’ meno piccanti ma di riccio solo il ricordo. Passiamo al secondo sanpietro troppo cotto con carciofi e patate. Siamo stati di sabato sera, serata piena, la prima portata dopo un’ora e 10 anche no. Sempre le solite cose direi anche non fatte bene….adatto ai clienti vetusti che di solito frequenta il locale.

31/01/2025: One can only say good things about the Pirana. Historic fish restaurant in Prato which confirms its well-deserved fame. Absolutely valid price-quality ratio of raw materials and cuisine. The appetizer of tempura ghosts was a gem. Very satisfied.

08/03/2025: I ate the pizza, which was too thin for my taste, then I had it with cooked ham, which was cooked so it became dry and salty, in short, I wasn't 100% satisfied.

06/02/2025: Optimal! Both in the food (especially the tortelli) and in the service. Definitely coming back!

01/04/2025: Some tastes were really really good, but some of them were so-so. Anyway almost every tastes with chocolate were definitely thumb-up! Gelato is always the love, so five stars! Unfortunately, there are some differences in quality between flavors. Still, the chocolate flavor is so delicious that I give it a thumbs up! One way or another, gelato is love, so five stars!

07/01/2025: Excellent place, first class product even if a little overpriced; on the other hand it must be said that they probably wouldn't be able to keep the standard so high if they didn't ask for something more. The Schiacciata, in its simplicity, is in my opinion the highlight. Nice environment, but small and not natively designed for hospitality, which is why I give the category four stars; in short, you will not find a bar, but a shop.

21/02/2025: Atmosfera accogliente, musica gustosa e a volumi piacevoli ( cosa non banale…). Cucina di livello e a prezzi consoni. Vale la pena dribblare la piazza e rotolare qualche metro giù per il vicolo. Consigliatissimo

22/02/2025: Suako stati ieri sera a cena in questo ristorante davvero caratteristico e delizioso . Scelto per caso da me ma andando a verificare determinate cose . Per cominciare locale molto carino e personale super gentile , a partire dal proprietario e il cameriere Loris che ci ha serviti e consigliati . Cibi fantastici e ottimi . Abbiamo preso delle zuppe favolose di funghi e funghi e castagne la vellutata . Secondo la tagliata e il filetto e il carpaccio di carciofi . Ci siamo trovati benissimo e qualità prezzi ottimi ! Ci torniamo anche stasera . Ps. Dimenticavo per finire la serata mi ha salutata il cagnolino del proprietario davvero dolce e carino .

05/04/2025: I was recently in Florence for work, for lunch my colleagues showed me this pizzeria/restaurant, a short distance (10 minutes) from the Florence SMN station, a stone's throw from the Fortress. The atmosphere is good, the staff at the tables are good and helpful, the owners are friendly, the dishes are good. Difficult to find parking.
