22/08/2024: Place located near the Duomo, we chose it randomly but it was an excellent choice, very kind and professional staff. The duck ragù is excellent both with the small ones and with the gnocchi. The Florentine steak is very good. Recommended

28/07/2024: The food is very good, the service is fantastic, they are very very nice and for lunch without even asking they came with a little glass of a great tasting lemon sorbet and for dinner we again got Lemon sorbet AND a type of biscuit cake, very lovely surprise. I will definitely come here again if i come to italy

26/07/2024: I went with a group of friends and I have to say that the food is good. The dishes are large and the service was good. I must also say that the price is excellent, in the sense that we spent the right amount. The penne with scampi and the crab gnocchi are excellent. But I heard that the fillet with green pepper is also delicious... Excellent discovery I would say

29/08/2024: We ate very well there as a family. Four different dishes and all tasted excellent! Pasta or meat is highly recommended. Service was very attentive. Price-performance was absolutely fine. Parking spaces directly in front of the restaurant. Clear recommendation!

15/07/2024: Dopo le ottime recensioni siamo andati per cena in questo ristorante, locale piccolo, dove all’interno 4/5 tavoli dove la temperatura era di almeno 40 gradi, nessun condizionatore, noi eravamo fuori praticamente in strada con dei paraventi improvvisati, cito tutto questo perché da un locale dove una catalana di pesce mi sento dire dalla cameriera costa €50,00 😳😳 e piatti da 20,00 a 35,00€ sul menu,, mi aspetterei sia un servizio di prim’ordine che un locale diverso. Qualità del cibo non all’altezza del prezzo.

04/07/2024: We've been wanting to come here for a long time. We finally got there. Nice atmosphere, few seats and a nice outside which is suitable in summer. Perfect service. If it seems slow, be patient. Serving people in small numbers is hard. I know something about this from working in the industry. Very good entree, varied bread made by them. I had a scampi risotto with nettle powder on top. It was spacey. Mixed fried food that never disappoints. Enjoyable tiramisu. Not a very small wine list. We had a rosé sparkling wine from Puglia and it was excellent. Quality, right price if you think that you eat fish and fish is expensive, you know. We will definitely be back. Promoted and highly recommended.

02/09/2024: The quality of the food is good, shame about the very long waiting times, the menu is fixed but despite this the chicken, proposed by them on the blackboard, was not enough for all the customers, in the end they gave mini portions for everyone. Honestly it's a shame because the location is beautiful

20/08/2024: Small outdoor place but very characteristic....very good food with fixed menu...excellent ice cream made by them.....you need a bit of patience for the food to arrive...but it's worth it. .and you're on holiday anyway, no one is running after you.....well done 😉👏👏

13/08/2024: We are on our way back home, sorry for not being able to extend our stay but also completely satisfied by the experience that the Spaltenna Castle can offer even in just a few days! The place is extraordinary: a careful recovery of the original structures makes use of a skilful integration of the new structures, perfectly incorporated into the nature of the area. We tried all the services offered and were amazed by the extreme attention to aesthetic and human detail, by the functionality with which every moment of the day is managed and by the discretion that can be maintained despite the crawl space of operators and activities! There is one nice thing that we cannot fail to underline: among all the castles and locations that we have been lucky enough to know, Spaltenna Castle is the king of amenities!!!!!!!! You could stay with an empty suitcase! The place sells itself, the management is evidently valid and consolidated, but the real strength is made up of the people: at the reception Vincenzo's eyes shine when he talks about his territory; Giorgio the mêtre of Pievano is the light and elegance of a restaurant that deserves a separate review; Elisabetta the sommelier is a beautiful woman who preserves the ancient secrets of her grandmothers in her professionalism; Lorenzo knows how to spell out the chef's talent with the right pauses and the emphasis of a touching passion for such a young boy; Augustin's delicate cocktails will make you want to hug this very sweet boy, Lara's determination in action is only the incipit for a beautiful chat with the backdrop of shooting stars and cicadas; and if you season everything with Gemma's cocktails??? Almost as extraordinary as her bright smile! Amed's kindness is precious, it shines through the eyes and perfectly packaged his professionalism; and then there is our favourite, little Chiara who, with her purity, is the mascot of a wonderful staff made up of many other people who we were not lucky enough to get to know better but who made our stay special. The infinity pool alone is worth the trip; breakfast on the terrace is super and always take at least one muffin, the internal room of the restaurant "La terrazza" is stupendous, the quality of the food is excellent and absolutely valid both the wine and the vin santo of own production, the Pievano on the other hand, he literally stole my heart!

25/05/2024: Ho fatto tappa fissa in questa che non posso solo definire una pasticceria gelateria , ma un qualcosa di incantevole, siamo stati a Massarosa per girare un po’ Lucca, Viareggio e posti lì vicini ed ho fatto delle colazioni meravigliose, c era una ragazza bionda Cristina che tra l’altro molto ospitale e gentile che per ogni giorno ci consigliava di provare cose diverse credo che grazie a te io abbia preso su qualche chilo!!! 🤣🤣ma sei stata impeccabile quindi lo consiglio vivamente 😘💋
