02/06/2025: I hadn't been to Greve in Chianti since 1985, and I hadn't entered this butcher's shop since that year. ... 40 years have passed! 😳 It was a pleasure to see the owner again, he is still kind and affable as he was 40 years ago. 👍 About the place... well, there is very little to say unlike what others have already written, to praise this business. Just entering... is a marvel! 🤩 Indeed, a marvel, it is already for the aromas that you inhale just by approaching the entrance doors, because when you enter... well, the photos I took and those of the other people who reviewed, speak for themselves. Here, even those who are not lovers of cured meats... become one instantly. 🤣 You would want to buy everything... at least, a piece of something, for every product on display. We "limited" ourselves in purchasing, also because, although the prices are "normal" considering the place where the business is located, the prices are not that cheap compared to where we come from (Milan), but here everything that is on display, invites you/incites you to buy. 🤣 It is also true that in Milan, however, if you find some products that they have here, they have absolutely NOTHING to do with the flavor that these local ones have, because these... are a unique delicacy. 👍👍👍 💪💪💪 In Milan, for example, you can find Finocchiona (typical salami of these places) in supermarkets, but... the difference in flavor is ABYSMIC with this local one. If I had to compare the flavors, I would say that those of Milan that for us who live there and buy them are "good"... well, those of Milan suck compared to these. Let's not even talk about the wild boar salamis that they have here in this butcher's shop... a UNIQUE delicacy!!! 🤩🤩🤩 Here at Falorni, they also sell cheese and... wine. You can taste their products, remaining comfortably seated at the tables and while you taste, look at the beauty of Piazza Matteotti with its statue of Giovanni da Verrazzano. Yes, come on, when we return... without a shadow of a doubt not in 40 years 🤣🤣🤣 but much sooner, we will return to buy from this butcher's shop again. In the photos below, in addition to the products that are on sale there, there are photos of the bag with almost everything we bought inside. Almost everything... because several "little things", we have already eaten them in the two days we were in Greve in Chianti. ...we couldn't resist until we got home, we had to taste/eat these delicacies. 🤣🤣🤣 Macelleria Falorni... 👍👍👍

07/05/2025: The place is typical and nice, on the bathroom door they should write "be careful of your head" because the door is low. The lady didn't explain the various options to us but decided that we wanted a focaccia, without telling us that a cutting board was also possible. The tart with almonds, walnuts etc was delicious

03/06/2025: Wonderful place, I stayed 2 nights in a camper in the tranquility of the olive grove, magnificent view of the Tuscan hill and sea on the horizon. Very kind and helpful staff. The 2 swimming pools, one with hydromassage, are an added value to the structure. Truly a beautiful stay.

29/04/2025: Vintage place, with very attentive and kind staff without being intrusive. The vegetable pie and the pizza are excellent, large and tasty. Try the Chianciano cake, a local specialty: sponge cake soaked in almond liqueur and custard.

09/06/2025: Without a doubt, a spectacular location with a sea view. It's a shame we didn't eat there because we didn't have time... We had a simple aperitif and everything went well. The waiter was polite and kind. The price was right. Next time, dinner for sure.

05/06/2025: We wanted to go for a pizza, but unfortunately they didn't have any, even though the website said so. The mussels were very good, but the grilled seafood platter was unfortunately tasteless. I had to ask for salt. Very nice atmosphere, but unfortunately, you pay a lot for it.

15/06/2025: Unfortunately I can't rate the service or the food because due to a 10 minute delay due to parking not being found (crowded Saturday night) when I arrived they had given away the table. Too bad.

11/06/2025: Bon choix, spécialité du poisson. Excellent service par une jeune d'origine marocaine qui nous a guidé dans nos choix avec professionnalisme. Merci à elle. Sinon, nous avons très bien mangé avec des saveurs extraordinaire.

08/06/2025: Ho prenotato all’ultimo un tavolo per 2 all’interno in quanto fuori vista mare era tutto full, il Titolare gentilmente mi ha poi comunicato che si era liberato un tavolo fuori quindi 🔝 Servizio eccellente e qualità della proposta di altissima qualità, accompagnata da materia prima ricercata e fresca. Pesce crudo veramente molto buono. Pazzesca l’idea del gelato alla vaniglia mantecato al Rhum Zacapa.

13/05/2025: Se sei di passaggio ,come lo sono io quando devo tornare all elba,o comunque hai fame a qualsiasi ora fermati qui ,perché tutto quello che offrono è una specialità. Pizze sfornate fresche a taglio così buone che ne assaggi almeno 4 tipi diversi. Schiaccia ripiena idem come sopra. Una quantità di dolci uno meglio dell altro. Te ne servono quanto ne vuoi. Cerco sempre di fare in modo di arrivare in tempo per fermarmi ,perché davvero, non sai cosa ti perdi. Le ragazze al.banco sono sempre gioviali e gentilissime . Ma come sono bravi da vito!

23/06/2025: I have to be honest, I chose this place on the internet, I was in Marina di Massa and having to return to Lombardy I wanted a fish meal. The reviews were varied, but I don't know why my sixth sense led me to call the restaurant and book a place for 2.20 pm (TIME GIVEN BY GOGGLE MAPS). KNOWING THAT THE RESTAURANT CLOSED AT 3.00 PM, WE IMMEDIATELY APOLOGIZED FOR THE TIME AND ASKED IF CONSIDERATION OF THE TIME IT WOULD BE POSSIBLE TO EAT. THE ANSWER ON THE PHONE WAS IMMEDIATELY REASSURING, SO MUCH SO TRUE THAT ON OUR ARRIVAL (14.15) THEY WELCOMED US WITH EXTREME KINDNESS AND HOSPITALITY. WE TOOK: PASTA WITH CLAMS, A FRIED CALAMARI AND PRAWNS, A TUNA TARTA AND A SORBET. WE DRINK WATER AND HOUSE WHITE WINE. I WOULD SAY EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT, THE PASTA WAS COOKED AT THE MOMENT, YOU COULD FEEL THE FLAVOUR OF THE SEA IN EVERY BITE, THE FRIED FOOD YOU COULD SEE WAS NOT PACKAGED BUT MADE FROM GOLD. IN THE END, EVEN THOUGH WE HAD NEVER BEEN TADI, THEY DID NOT MISS THEIR NUTELLA LIQUEUR OBVIOUSLY OFFERED BY THEM. PRICE ???? 40 EUROS PER PERSON ALL INCLUSIVE... IT'S A SHAME I DON'T LIVE IN THE AREA, IF NOT I WOULD COME BACK VERY SOON. A REALLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PLACE. PS I SELL FROM BERGAMO AND I DIDN'T HAVE THE FINEST IDEA OF THE EXISTENCE OF THIS POST, I SAY THIS BECAUSE MY REVIEW IS THE BASIS OF MY ONLY AND EXCLUSIVE EXPERIENCE. Really go try it and leave a review.... too bad by chance... that I didn't taste the cacciucco, but I'll be back I promise
