19/06/2025: excellent...perfect...a real tavern with generous dishes, excellent, not a tourist trap...it's the first restaurant since our 5-day stay that has delighted us in every way...discovered by chance because we are at the hotel on scandicci..very good go for it!!! DANIELA the waitress is wonderfully kind and MARCO the cook is perfect too...

15/06/2025: It was a really nice discovery! We knew the old management and instead we found a very nice environment, however maintaining the same country style. Homemade food.. bread, fresh pasta etc etc.. Their specialty is meat but I wouldn't give up a nice mozzarella since the manager is from Campania. Excellent quality-price. I recommend it!!

15/05/2025: A lovely bar/cafe/gelateria only 5 minutes east of the walls of Lucca. We had a delicious lunch of roast beef, potatoes and veggies, served alfresco in the beautiful covered patio at the back of the property. The pastries are really special as well - everything you could want including specialty cakes made to order. They also have a great selection of wines from Tuscany. They feature a big parking lot so you don't have to worry about scrambling to find parking. The service is kind and attentive, and they make the effort to make sure you are well taken care of. We will definitely be back!

11/06/2025: Upscale, as are the prices. The menu was very bland. There was no drinks menu, which is ridiculous. The restaurant has a bit of a posh vibe, but doesn't really pull it off.

19/05/2025: It was not the ideal day to appreciate the pleasant place among the fields, given the unstable weather. It was certainly a farmhouse with animals, currently renovated, but with a nice dirt road to reach it. It is quite spacious and ideal for ceremonies. Lunch was normal with a preference on my part for the tasty "pici". The service was attentive and the bill adequate for what you order.

07/06/2025: Non c’è nemmeno da pensarci un secondo a scegliere La Piazza per cenare,se si tratta di cucina locale qui si è al top. I tordelli numero uno a Carrara,le lasagnette di mare addirittura migliori per poi concludere con una fritturina. Personale squisito come sempre,lo consiglio a occhi chiusi!

30/03/2025: Apart from the beautiful view of our wonderful territory, I highly recommend this place, where courtesy and kindness are the setting for truly excellent and genuine products. Not only was the waitress who served us courteous and sincerely friendly, a rare quality! ,but also the owners made us feel at home. The cut is truly excellent. I highly recommend it. And think of a glass bottle of water for only 1.50! Really excellent quality/price ratio. We'll be back soon!

13/06/2025: Un posto semplice ma non trascurato, personale gentilissimo e veloce. Abbiamo mangiato pizza senza glutine e piatti di pesce. Tutto di alta qualità. Veniamo un po’ da lontano ma ne vale veramente la pena. Torneremo. Il menù offre un’ampia scelta di possibilità (vegana, vegetariana e gluten free). Accettano cani, non si può chiedere di più! Bravi! 08/06/2025: I have known this pizzeria for many years, usually before they moved to the new location! Nice place, well-kept and seats both inside and outside under a roof. Friendly staff. Excellent value for money. Excellent quality of raw materials. Large adjacent parking lot. I would like to recommend trying the Pizza Ponte d'oro, truly an excellent delicacy 🫡 Well done guys Next time I will take some photos and post them.

08/05/2025: The pizza I ate, the ones I tasted from the other people at dinner with me and the fast service make it one of the best pizzerias in the province of Pisa for me. Possibility of eating outdoors in the room outside the restaurant (however covered by curtains). Easy parking 50 meters away. Excellent quality/price ratio.
