18/10/2025: It is a unique experience to spend at least a night in this location. The room we stayed in was huge, clean and decorated with good taste, keeping the ancient atmosphere. It features a kitchenette in case of need. The infinity pool has breathtaking views and it's a perfect relaxation location. It's a pity though is not heated, but also understandable for the region, as not quite needed normally. Still, the 18 degrees water temperature in the late October days was a bit too challenging, still.

17/10/2025: We visited the Bottega del Borgo about a year ago and loved it. We went back today and really enjoyed it. The Bottega del Borgo has a lovely ambiance and only a few tables inside. There are also a few outside. The service is attentive and unobtrusive. The food was excellent, and we'll definitely be back! Mille Grazie!

18/11/2025: Dinner for six on Saturday, November 15th. The restaurant was packed but well-organized, with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly, welcoming waiters. We return every year from Rome's Bagno Vignoni area for the excellent Tuscan food and the friendliness of the lady at the counter. It's a shame it's so hard to book... Highly recommended! 16/09/2025: Perfect! Everything about this place was amazing from the service to the food. Ask for the carbonara del mare. It’s not on the menu so the locals recommend it and it is 10 out of 10. Quiet, friendly just really fantastic. Destination dining.

A 4-star hotel 💫, always kind and helpful to everyone. I already miss their fried seafood and pistachio semifreddo 😋😋. 27/11/2025: Our experience here was disappointing overall. We visited as a group of five — including one child and two grandparents — and planned to share a couple of pastas, a Florentine steak, and a couple of sides. Instead of accommodating this, the server pushed to bring “equal portions” of both pastas for all five people. We were never told this would increase the cost so dramatically, and the two pastas alone ended up totaling about €100. It felt more like an upsell than genuine guidance. The food itself was underwhelming. Our Florentine steak was bland and noticeably under-seasoned — especially disappointing after watching the same server present another table’s steak with salt sprinkled alongside the meat. The inconsistency was hard to overlook. There was also no coperto listed, and the server made a direct comment that came across as soliciting a tip, which is not customary in Italy and felt uncomfortable. Overall, the unexpected pricing, upselling tactics, bland food, inconsistent presentation, and pressure for a tip made this a disappointing visit. Two stars for the ambiance, but we would not return.

I often come here with my family for pizza, and I asked them to let me know if they found figs... and here we are, enjoying their focaccia with prosciutto and figs! Something unforgettable!!! Special mention also for their sorbets, now famous throughout Versilia. Thank you for the way they always welcomed me, despite the presence of my bulky golden retriever ❤️

26/10/2025: Very pleasant and clean atmosphere, average service, albeit a bit hindered by the somewhat poorly managed wait. We were called for fries about 10-15 minutes before the sandwiches. Otherwise, everything was fine. It's a shame about the bread; it tasted of alcohol, truly inedible. We had to dismantle the sandwiches and eat the meat with some of the condiments. The fries were very good, fried nice and dry with clean oil. Ultimately, I can't recommend it at this time.
