25/09/2025: The restaurant is very well presented: there's ample outdoor parking, and crossing the street leads to a spacious and welcoming dining room. The location is well-kept, with plenty of greenery surrounding it, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The menu is available as a set or à la carte. I chose the full menu (first course + second course + side dish + water + coffee) for just €15, a truly fair price. I tried the penne alla boscaiola and the tomato meatballs with baked potatoes: home-style dishes, very flavorful. The meatballs were soft and delicious, the only shame was the presence of several small bones inside, a detail that somewhat detracted from the experience, though it didn't compromise the flavor. The service was attentive and professional, despite being managed by just one person who moved tirelessly between the tables. During peak hours, there can be a bit of a wait, but the commitment and helpfulness are evident. In short: authentic cuisine, excellent value, and a pleasant atmosphere. A place you'll gladly return to for a hearty, tasty, home-style meal.

08/09/2025: Given that we go there often with the company, the food has always been decent, except last Thursday. The tomato sauce had a sour note, and my stomach noticed it. The service was acceptable, although a little confusing at times.

09/03/2025: Lunch break. Everything was fine except the wait, which was long (25 minutes) and made me worry I wouldn't be able to finish my meal before returning to work.

16/09/2025: The atmosphere is average, perhaps in the summer. You can choose whether to eat inside or outside. The pizzas aren't very large, and there's a wide variety of pizza types. The only problem is parking closer to the train station. After the Level crossing, it's closed on Mondays, Tuesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. It's usually very crowded. You can book by calling.

03/10/2025: Fantastic pizza! Worth a visit. I went back yesterday after six years. The pizza is still delicious. We also tried the carbonara, which was amazing. The house white wine was perfect. Very friendly service. When in Volterra, be sure to stop by for a bite to eat :)

03/09/2025: From the outside, it doesn't look like much, but once inside, it more than makes up for it. The pizza was very tasty, but the seafood spaghetti was worth a solid 10 stars. "Grandma" is a very good and flavorful cook. So, I'll go there again to try out the rest. I'm already looking forward to it.

24/07/2025: Rispetto agli anni passati i prezzi sono purtroppo aumentati, coperto 3 euro a persona e abbiamo dovuto chiedere il pane..3 euro per una bottiglia d'acqua da un litro ci è apparso eccessivo.. poca scelta tra antipasti primi e secondi, prezzi alti e pietanze nella media.. buona la frittura di calamari (porzione risicata per 15 euro) .. lo spazio esterno è carino ma i prezzi a nostro avviso sono troppo elevati

It offers drinks, croissants, cutting boards and a wide variety of books, board games and pastimes. Hot chocolate from a machine with cream spray €3.50 Modest prices for being in the main street of the historic center of the village. Reachable from the main car park via the public lift located behind the keep and town hall, passing through a suggestive walkway and a very well-kept modern square.

06/10/2024: El mejor bar por lejos y el personal es tremendo Los lugareños son muy amables y le dan la bienvenida. Todo sucede en el bar desde la mañana hasta la noche, un verdadero centro local y no todo sobre el alcohol! Los niños locales vienen y compran sus dulces y helados, etc. Un verdadero placer. Fabuloso café y pasteles por la mañana y bocadillos de pizza, etc. durante el día Gran parada para ciclistas! Nos quedamos y nos sentimos parte.

23/08/2025: It's a small restaurant in a tiny village in Garfagnana, very close to Lunigiana. The food is excellent, with a wide selection of both first and second courses. The ingredients are top-quality. For large groups, please let them know in advance that you're paying "Roman style," otherwise they might be a bit of a pain. I also recommend it because it's a very relaxing and quiet place.

24/09/2025: Ripoff. Food was average, but overpriced. The guy tried to take card payment twice, but it failed because of his bad connection. Then he upped the charge to include his bank fees on the 3rd attempt!!! Despite arguing he wouldn't back down. Avoid this place or check the charges carefully before paying.
