02/08/2025: Extensive platters, local and delicious products! Reasonable prices for drinks and the food menu, nothing to complain about. Terrace in the heart of a very nice and welcoming square, great atmosphere, friendly! You can go there with your eyes closed, 100%.

06/06/2025: We had the best experience here! Despite being busy they found me and my mum a table, offered us an English menu and even explained items for us. The wine was incredible, huge shelf to choose from, meat and cheese board was perfect Can add small sharing bites with crisps for €1 per person The staff were so lovely Located on a busy square full of restaurants and bars, perfect Pisa evening

22/10/2025: The food was excellent and the pizzas were very large! It was great that the dog was allowed to come along, too. We sat outside. It's very simple, self-service and lacks a special atmosphere, but that was fine. The owners of the pizza place, the lady at the cash register, and even the grandmother who helped her grandchild fall asleep were all super nice and almost like family.

14/09/2025: We ate here twice during our vacation, and the pizza is truly outstanding. Thin crust, super crispy, and generously topped. A 12 out of 10 for taste. :-) Very fair prices for drinks and pizza. Pizzas range from €10 to €16. For starters, we had a Caprese salad. It was served in a large bowl with two plates and plenty of pizza bread. If you want delicious food in a cozy atmosphere, this is the place for you.

28/09/2025: During our trip to Monferraglia, we went to this restaurant for dinner. As soon as we entered, we were a bit perplexed by the quality of the place, given that the chairs and tables were truly old, and the entire decor was dated. That said, two very polite and kind ladies sat us at our table, and they listed and explained the entire menu to us. Once the food arrived, we immediately dug into these delicacies. The classic charcuterie board and the tagliata. Truly excellent food and excellent service. We'll be back.

08/10/2025: My wife and I were on our honeymoon. We snuck into the pasta making class last second. It was truly fantastic from start to finish. Our "Nonna", Narghess, was amazing. From the moment I awkwardly stumbled down into to the restaurant to ask if it was too early to come in to the last bite of dessert and goodbye. She commanded the room with wisdom and compassion. We learned some history of Florence, the building we were in and its relation to the Renaissance as we prepared tiramisou, ravioli, and fettuccine. An unforgettable experience. 100%. Narghess was incredibly kind and supportive as we muscled our way through the itinerary. Fun, informative, and (most of all) tasty. We would highly recommend this activity for anyone. The restaurant itself has great atmosphere, history, and even better chefs!! We're from Maine in the US, but we met couples from Australia, Canada, and the Netherlands in the same class and by the end of the night we all felt like family. Wish I was going back tomorrow night <3

07/10/2025: Family owned & operated — we attended a pasta-making class here & everything was phenomenal! Also loved the authentic feel of the restaurant with different levels & exposed brick!

25/09/2025: Welcoming, the setting is impeccable, and the decor perfectly matches the interior, allowing guests to discover some local products. I particularly appreciated the service; the staff was very friendly and cheerful. BRAVO. The quality of the cuisine won me over. I enjoyed the rare beef fillet with its green peppercorn sauce. Personally, I would have added a little greenery and a small tomato to the plate, just for the visual appeal and to also evoke the national colors. The only downside: I recommend ordering only bottled wines, as we had a rather disreputable experience with two different wines that had probably been open for a little too long...

21/09/2025: There's only one drawback, for those of us passing through: it's only open for dinner. But there's the option of staying in a family-run establishment across the street.

11/11/2025: Not to be confused with the restaurant just below. Il Valico is a homey restaurant and pizzeria. The restaurant's highlight is the freshly grilled meats, cooked right before your eyes. The pizza is delicious, but one of the best dishes is the homemade porchetta, cooked right in the wood-fired oven! A lovely, relaxed and welcoming place. I'll be back soon...

15/11/2025: do not waste your time on this “michelin” restaurant. been to over 100+ michelin guide restaurants over the last decade, this is by far the worst one i’ve visited. you are greeted by a lady with a condescending attitude if you don’t arrive with a reservation, even though the restaurant was fully empty. portions are small, taste is bland, service is absolutely laughable. just go to the osteria besides this one.

08/11/2025: The expectation where much more high that what we have find specifically for the price we have paid , the Food it’s self was lucking of flavours and ingredients where not to the level , like the non fresh truffle on top of the pasta. Dessert were disappointing and the service was just better compared to the food but the ambience was so down on the top floor and the staff was not looking after us . Really expensive for what you eat

05/11/2025: Excellent burger. I had the Americano and I have to say I was very pleased with both the ingredients and the preparation. The fries were also excellent, and above all, I've never had bacon as crispy as theirs. Unfortunately, we had fried bacon as an appetizer, but it wasn't fried properly and was limp. It's a shame because you could tell they were high-quality. Highly recommended, even for those who don't eat gluten!

19/10/2025: We had the opportunity to try their products at the Arezzo flea market. They were truly amazing, super fast, and incredibly friendly. It's one of the few sandwiches we've enjoyed at a fair. We'll definitely be back at your restaurant.

07/11/2025: A restaurant with a variety of food, very crowded, we went without a reservation and had to be patient to be served, the waiters were very kind and the food was good (pizzas and hamburgers, wine and coffee)

21/11/2025: Fabulous pizza, the verace is tall and well cooked. I haven't tasted the spianata, but whoever did liked it very much.

16/11/2025: The food and service are excellent, but the place is a bit noisy, perhaps due to its layout. The portions are generous, and the smell is terrible.

18/11/2025: For me one of the best pizzerias in Lucca, excellent value for money.
