22/09/2025: We took our social outing (Vespa Club Pontedera) to this B&B, a very versatile one. You can rent apartments with various beds or a campervan pitch. It has two swimming pools with breathtaking views of the surrounding hills, including the sea. We had dinner there and ate really well, and a lot. The wine was good, but the water was a little less so. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of both sweet and savory options. The owner was always kind and patient. A place absolutely worth visiting.

20/09/2025: A wonderful experience! A true oasis of peace surrounded by nature, in a rejuvenating silence. Large and clean room, a rich and varied breakfast, and a restaurant with quality cuisine. Attentive and helpful staff. Two swimming pools add to the experience!

04/10/2025: I found this place by chance with The Fork and it was a pleasant surprise. It's an old-fashioned trattoria where you eat well and feel good. I recommend it.

16/06/2025: Very tasty pizza and pinsa with a wide variety of options. The portions are very generous, but you can easily take leftovers home. The atmosphere is typically Italian, but the restaurant is relatively quiet. We'll definitely be back again during our vacation.

04/11/2025: It's always a real pleasure to spend a few days at Locanda del Castello. Massimo is a wonderful and friendly host and a skilled chef. The menu is extensive and excellent. The staff is knowledgeable and extremely friendly. A must-visit!

05/10/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant in the historic center of Sarteano, and what can I say? It was a wonderful experience! The atmosphere was homey, and the owner offered us delicious Cinta Senese ham as an appetizer. We ordered: a platter of cured meats and cheeses, pici all'aglione, ravioli with butter and sage, baked potatoes, biscotti and vin santo, red wine and coffee. Everything was delicious and carefully prepared. The portions were generous, and the prices were more than fair. We'll definitely be back!

15/11/2025: Unfortunately, the experience wasn't satisfying: some dishes were excessively buttery, making the taste heavy and overpowering. Furthermore, the service was unprofessional and, in some instances, even rude, which negatively impacted the entire meal.

28/05/2025: The staff is incredibly friendly. They have gluten-free yogurt with your choice of toppings, gluten-free and lactose-free ice cream, lactose-free coffee cream, and gluten-free and lactose-free cookies! So, they're well stocked for those with intolerances! Thank you!

31/10/2025: A small and very welcoming place. The food for Halloween was truly amazing, especially the risotto! The service was very fast. I would have appreciated a smile and a change of fork, because using the same cutlery for four courses seems excessive. In any case, a very enjoyable evening! Recommended.

21/09/2025: It's located in an old farmhouse; the dining room is all wood with simple but clean tables. We ordered a pizza peel and a tagliata with arugula, cheese, and cherry tomatoes. Drinks included water and draft beer. The tagliata was well-seasoned and tender. The pizza, eh... when we saw it arrive, we were astonished by its size; in fact, we couldn't finish it (there were two of us), and without batting an eyelid, the waitress packed it for us in a cardboard box. We had dinner there the next evening. The staff was friendly and very discreet. The price was very fair. It was a pleasant discovery; we'll definitely be back. We checked out their Facebook page and saw that they also host themed dinners throughout the year, which are definitely worth a try.

10/08/2025: Very friendly staff, spotlessly clean and well-kept place. Everything was delicious, from the appetizers to the meat. I highly recommend trying the deconstructed tiramisu, a delight!
