21/06/2025: Great place to eat both meat and fish dishes. We ate an excellent and abundant fried food. Average prices. Good value for the quality of the food. The interior of the restaurant is very nice even if we ate outside given the hot period.

14/04/2025: Excellent dishes, you order a dish that is enough for two people, so the price is modest. I read a review by Luigi C. who states that Duilio is unreliable and poor. To have a lunch or dinner, you have to order and wait for about 40 minutes, every day about 70 meals are provided for lunch and 70 for dinner. So Mr. Luigi C. is undoubtedly in bad faith or talking about his house.

17/07/2025: My food was OK but not for worth the 43 euros bill. The best part was the antipasto of ham and cheese then I had a salad which sounded more exciting than it was, chunks of chicken in a tomato sauce which also sounded better on the menu, a glass of wine, cantucci and vin santo.

17/09/2024: I went to this pizzeria, I liked it. They told me that the owner had changed, so I viewed the Internet page and read: "dogs outside". Generally I leave my dog ​​at home, but it has always been well accepted by the previous owner, without problems, so dog outside, my money out of the pizzeria. I live in a metropolis, I come often because I have a house near Villa, but I have never had problems with my dog. I'm always the first to say that I have a 7kg dog, to ask for a quiet place, but it annoys me that it is forced on me. Bye-bye

19/07/2025: Nice place in Ponte alla Chiassa, but very hot. The air conditioning was off... the pizza was soft in the center, the edges burned. After five minutes, the mozzarella tasted like plastic. The dough was decent, and the pizza was hot, but it became rubbery after a while. The waitress was annoyed. I won't be returning.

05/07/2025: They often passed by, it was always full and lit up... this evening we decided to try it... what can I say, simply wonderful, from the location, to the service, clean, tidy, classy environment, but at the same time homely... we chose the steak with side dishes, pizzas for the children... everything excellent... we will gladly return... because we felt at home... a great feeling... Pasquale and family thank you for having served us a fantastic experience... PS. Advice from gourmets... the wine list is delicious... the meat... from the historic Saccardi butcher's shop in Florence.

21/06/2025: Overall, extremely subpar experience despite some highlights. Food and service being the lowlights. Of the dishes we tried, 50% were inedible (e.g. mullet, grains). We also had two times where the portion sizes were drastically different between two people at the same table. The servers didn’t do anything about it. For example, the spaghetti portions had one that was 50% the other which was comically bad. Another artichoke dish one plate had 3 and another plate only had 2. Shocking how little attention to detail the restaurant had for being so expensive. The service was also extremely slow (which I can understand given they were busier), but with the price, our expectations were much higher. I don’t recommend anyone coming here because of the lack of quality control and training in service.

24/07/2025: First of all, I asked our host which beach spots he would recommend to us as a local (he lives with his family in Stiava). He recommended three spots. We visited two of them and explored one on our own right at the beginning (unfortunately, this one was a complete disaster, but such experiences are inevitable on vacation). Bagno Teresa was my personal favorite from the start. Today is our first time here and we haven't regretted it. I checked out the local conditions on their website beforehand. It saves you a lot of disappointment and frustration on site. My husband and I quickly agreed on which option we wanted to book, and there were no communication difficulties with the staff there. We didn't get our preferred option, as even expensive spots in the front row were fully booked (here, spots can be booked for a fixed rate starting from one day, weekly, monthly, or for the entire season). So the prime pieces are gone anyway. We still got a great spot near the water. Yes, it costs money. If you want comfort and a certain level of quality, you won't be able to avoid spending money. For free, you get a corresponding selection of options, if that. Changing cabins (which are rented for the entire stay) were already fully booked. I asked at the reception and was given access to a wide cabin that all four of us could fit in. It cost nothing except a thank you and a smile. We had to leave the cabin afterward, but that didn't matter, as we only wanted to change in there. The design of the front area was very beautiful and loving. Everything was clean. Plenty of space. The beach was still empty overall, as it was a weekday and the peak season was just beginning. We'll try the restaurant later. The entire sandy beach area was tidy and clean. I can't say anything negative at all, although I'm sorry for some of the previous reviewers. A lovely beach to linger on. We will definitely come back!

17/06/2025: I often stop at this pastry shop for a quiet breakfast. Both in summer and winter I can sit at a table and give myself 10 minutes of relaxation. In winter the indoor tables give a warmth and a sense of serenity. In summer, however, I sit at the outdoor tables, in the quiet square. Often a light breeze, like today, keeps the air fresh and sipping a cappuccino and tasting a good pasta becomes really pleasant. The area is quiet, and even if it is not an exclusive location, I prefer it to the more lively Piazza Arnolfo, a few steps away. If you pass by here and want to pamper yourself and relax I recommend this place. You will find kindness, serenity and courtesy. The staff is very kind and will be able to advise you in front of the specialties that will leave you in doubt about which to try, for their variety.
