19/09/2025: We wanted to visit the museum but it was closed due to strike but journey was not wasted as came across this gem of a restaurant. All veg grown here and the staff explained the dishes. We couldn’t make up our minds as all sounded lovely so had 4 different main courses and shared them. I loved the simple interiors and ambience they have created. Def worth a visit and especially good if on way to or from the airport as close by

31/08/2025: Everything was delicious. We had the tagliatelle with Tuscan ragù (manxo and cinta) and the duck in dolceforte. The last dish had dark chocolate, which seemed strange to us, but it was fabulous!

04/08/2025: Pizzas exquisitas, entrantes destaco la tabla de quesos muy rica , pan con aceite de oliva italianos también de lujo. Camareros muy amables y profesionales. Atención rápida Cerca de l torre de Pisa.

13/07/2025: Giusta via di mezzo tra le ville con ristorante della zona e le trattorie navigate con piatti locali di sicuro effetto dei dintorni di Empoli. Conduzione familiare e servizio puntuale. Menù che non riesce a elevarsi, ingredienti sicuramente di prima mano, cacciagione soprattutto; la base è molto buona, confido nelle nuove leve!! Augurio di proseguimento verso il 🔝

04/10/2025: Ordered the spaghetti seafood pasta which came with mussels, clams, squid and shrimp. Presentation and taste were superb. Large portion with lots of mussels and clams.

11/09/2025: Terrible experience! Upon arrival, the view of the place was quite sad, more like a view of garbage bins than a sea view... hmmm... Zero welcome, absolutely unprofessional and uncaring staff (especially given the few customers present). We ordered a glass of champagne and, in addition to taking the glass back from the kitchen, we noticed that it tasted bad and there wasn't even a single bubble. We asked for an explanation and they brought the almost empty bottle to us, telling us that "it must be because it's only been open a few days, but it's champagne"... oh god!!!!!!! 😲🙈🫣 (Meanwhile, they were charging us for the 10 euro glass!). We settled for a prosecco, but history repeats itself and we decide not to argue. The food was mediocre. We went for a barrel-aged grappa to digest the excessive heaviness of the mixed fried food, but we received a white grappa from the supermarket. No apology for what happened, and the price was steep compared to the quality and quantity. A sad experience. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

13/10/2025: The institute was founded thanks to the Napoleonic decree of 18 October 1810. The normal school carries out training activities, of both ordinary type (three-year degree and master's degree) and specialization.

26/08/2025: Very well-kept and clean... Generous and very good portions... The potato balls of the land appetizer are very good... I recommend the fried chicken and rabbit... Tagliata and all the pizzas!

14/11/2025: The coffee is average, but Samuele's aperitivos are where he really excels. The sbagliato is spot on, and the pizzas are very good. As for the restaurant, I'll give it a review when I get there. They're excellent, anyway.

19/08/2025: For those who want a good lunch with delicious dishes like those found in the best trattorias of yesteryear, this little restaurant in Firenzuola offers a fixed lunch menu for around €15 (first course, second course, side dish, wine or water, and coffee). The portions are generous and tasty (and that's coming from someone who eats), and the staff is friendly and fast. Highly recommended for those who like familiar fare.

10/10/2025: I go there alone and bring friends, you are at the market on an internal terrace above the butcher's shop; for me excellent meat and excellent hospitality, friendly but attentive atmosphere; but above all dishes prepared by Elisabetta, very good and varied, always changing with the season; the cost practically the same as the ingredients bought at the market, on Saturdays it is best to book, I recommend a visit.

24/06/2025: There is an important distinction to be made: the terrace above the restaurant for eating on the spot and the butcher's shop below... In order the Terrace. Rating 5 stars!!! Really nice; few seats in a very intimate atmosphere with which even without wanting to you find yourself talking to the people next to you. You order and are served via a freight elevator, there is no staff between the tables. You take your wine, your drinks, set yourself up and eat in this truly typical Tuscan place. Excellent platters and fantastic tartare, refined flavors and a little different for those who want to dare, otherwise the classic recipes. The prices are from the center of Florence so high but at least you feel good and it is money well spent. Great idea and excellent management. Butcher's shop rating ZERO. I have been an occasional customer for a long time and they ripped me off. 2 kg of steak (not even Chianina at that) at the frightening price of 90 euros (raw at the counter just cut I mean, not cooked and served to eat). I paid for it there and then except to realize later what I had actually been asked for. In hindsight I should have left it there, smiled and left. Unfortunately I was distracted at the time and... I don't know if 45 euros per kg is a "fair" price for tourists, it remains a value completely out of the market. In principle as a butcher's shop it's not bad, I don't go there often because it's not a good quality-price ratio, the times I went there they never thrilled me but in any case nothing negative to report. As for the story of the steak, however, I was so disappointed that I stopped going for lunch too... very bad guys, too bad...

27/06/2025: We spent a wonderful, balmy summer evening on the Pietra terrace, enjoying the drinks (fantastic bartender!). The rabbit with rosemary potatoes was particularly delicious, and we highly recommend the pears braised in spices and wine with ice cream. The mix of locals and an international clientele is quite unusual. We look forward to our next visit.

13/06/2025: Writing a review of this 3-star "Hotel" is not easy. Yes, because, reading other reviews, apart from one, the others speak of a structure that absolutely did not reflect what we experienced. Arriving late in the evening, we were told that there was no garage, when at the time of booking, on the phone I had been confirmed the possibility of putting the motorcycle in the garage. GOOD, BUT LET'S GO IN ORDER. THE ROOMS: I WOULD FIRST NOTE THAT WE STAYED FOR TWO NIGHTS AND THE ROOM WAS NEITHER REDONE NOR CLEANED, AS THE RULES OF A 3-STAR HOTEL REQUIRE! WE TAKE THE ROOM CALLED "SUPERIOR" BECAUSE, ACCORDING TO THE MANAGEMENT, IT HAS THE LARGEST BATHROOM. ONCE WE HAVE TAKEN POSSESSION OF THE ROOM, WE REALIZE, WANT TO TAKE A SHOWER, AFTER HOURS AND HOURS OF MOTORCYCLE, THAT THE 3 STAR HOTEL DOES NOT OFFER A SIMPLE HAIR DRYER, WHICH I HAVE TO ASK FOR, THE SAME FATE FOR SHAMPOO OR SHOWER GEL, ONLY TWO, PROVIDED FOR TWO DAYS OF STAY, PRACTICALLY IF THE CUSTOMER DOESN'T ASK FOR IT, THEY SIMPLY DON'T BOTHER TO GIVE IT.. THE "SUPERIOR" ROOM HAS MOSQUITO NETS, BUT THEY OBVIOUSLY CANNOT ELIMINATE THE DANGER OF MOSQUITOES, SINCE I HAVE TO ELIMINATE REAL HELICOPTERS (I TOOK PHOTOS) WHICH FORTUNELY DO NOT STING BUT WHICH TO SEE, AND ABOVE ALL HEARING YOURSELF AT NIGHT IS NOT PLEASANT. THE SHOWER, VERY SMALL, BUT THE UNACCEPTABLE THING IS TO SEE PIGEON DROPPINGS ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE BATHROOM WINDOW! NEEDLESS TO SAY, WE HAVE KEPT THE BATHROOM WINDOW CLOSED AT ALL TIMES. FORGET ABOUT A MINI FRIDGE, FORGET ABOUT A CLOSET, BUT ONLY A COAT RACK ALONG THE WALL. THE BED: IF YOU LIKE THE 80'S METAL MESH BASE, THEN IT'S PERFECT, INCLUDING METALLIC NOISES AFTERWARDS. THE MATTRESS, INSUFFICIENT. BREAKFAST. IN MANY YEARS OF HONORABLE BIKERS ACTIVITY, I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH A BARRELLING AND ABOVE ALL UNACCEPTABLE BREAKFAST. SHOULD I DESCRIBE IT? IT IS ENOUGH TO SAY THAT ON THE SECOND MORNING A CUSTOMER WENT TO GET CROISSANTS AT THE BAR DEL BORGO. THE MUCH-VALUED CUISINE? NOT AVAILABLE! ON THE SECOND EVENING, WE TOLD ONE OF THE GIRLS THAT WE WOULD HAVE LIKED TO DO THE HALF-BOARD MENU, BECAUSE, AS IT WAS A PIZZA ROUND EVENING AT THEIR PLACE AND WE PREFERRED TO EAT TYPICAL CUISINE, WE DID NOT FEEL LIKE EATING PIZZA. WE WERE TOLD THAT IT WAS EASILY POSSIBLE AND THEY OFFERED US SOME TORTELLINI, RABBIT....EHM....YES...TOO BAD THAT WE RETURNED AFTER LESS THAN AN HOUR, AND AFTER ASKING ANOTHER GIRL FROM THE STAFF, WE WERE LITERALLY TOLD THAT WE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO EAT, NEITHER TORTELLINI, NOR RABBIT, NOR PIZZA! BECAUSE THE PLACE WAS BY NOW FULL. WHILE THE GIRL WAS EVEN RAISING DOUBT THAT WE HAD MADE PREVIOUS AGREEMENTS ON THE MENU, CLAIMING THAT WE HAD NOT TALKED TO HER AND THAT SHE WOULD HAVE ASKED FOR CONFIRMATION, IN THE MEANTIME SHE CONTINUED TO NOT CARE ABOUT US WHO WERE WAITING, AND CONTINUED TO PREPARE FOR THE PIZZA ROUND. WE PRACTICALLY WAITED FOR HALF AN HOUR FOR HER TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM, AS SHE HAD SAID, FORTUNATELY THEY MANAGED TO BOOK AT A RESTAURANT NEARBY AND WE WERE ABLE TO EAT THERE, OTHERWISE WE WOULD HAVE ALSO REMAINED HUNGRY. THE NEXT DAY, WE ONLY DRINK AN ORANGE DRINK, PACKED OUR BAGS AND LEFT AWAY VERY HAPPY, TO BE ABLE TO HAVE A REAL BREAKFAST. THE ONLY THING WE LIKED? THE ATMOSPHERE, OF THE WHOLE VILLAGE. THE 3 STAR HOTEL "LA PIETRA" HAS A LONG WAY TO GO TO DEFINE ITSELF AS A 3 STAR. PS: DON'T FORGET TO ASK FOR THE WIFI PASSWORD, OTHERWISE IF YOU HOPE TO FIND THE INFORMATION IN THE ROOM LIKE ANY SELF-RESPECTING HOTEL, THEN YOU WILL HAVE A BAD SURPRISE. THERE IS NO TV, THE ONLY THING THAT IS WRITTEN ON THE SITE. THIS WAS OUR EXPERIENCE. TESTIFIED BY PHOTOS. THE PRICE IS ABSOLUTELY UNJUSTIFIED FOR WHAT THEY OFFER.

22/10/2025: Beautiful renovation, fabulous location! Regarding the menu... something new, like the fried shrimp in potato spaghetti, excellent. I was also amazed by the grilled ravioli, which were truly excellent. Not a lot of wines, but they weren't ordinary. In short, we'll be back. Everything was good, perfect service.

19/10/2025: I go there every week. I often order takeout, but when I do eat in, I always have a great time. Excellent food and service. The location is very beautiful and welcoming.
