08/11/2025: The staff was rude, drunk, and rude, with no respect. We had ordered two portions of guinea fowl, and they brought us a tray that was enough for 10 people. They took advantage of the price increase. When it came time to pay, the POS didn't work, and we, the customers, were insulted as if we didn't want to pay for their mistake. The owner chased us away, insulting us, and mocked other customers until we left the restaurant. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL!!!

03/11/2025: And what can I say... a step back in time, a warm but not intrusive welcome, a unique location, and... mind-blowing food and super portions. The pici all'aglione are amazing, the cured meats with crostini are out of this world. And if you want coffee, they bring you a moka pot, not coffee made with pods. And you'll definitely return to Massimo. Please, if you can't appreciate the shop/food/hospitality... move on and avoid writing "failed posh" reviews!

13/11/2025: I'll start by saying that I took the photos a little poorly because we were quite hungry and wanted to be quick, since the owners were kind enough to seat us even though they were closing. This traditional trattoria is family-run, welcoming, and has very kind and friendly staff. Valentina, with whom we also had a pleasant chat, helped us choose our dishes. She's a very kind, friendly, and passionate person. But let's get to the point. The food is excellent. We ordered two braised meats, which were extremely flavorful and tender, delicious; an excellent rabbit (I would have ordered another), delicious baked zucchini, spinach, and potatoes. To drink, we ordered two large waters and two coffees, very well made! Despite the simplicity of the dishes, we were very satisfied and will definitely return on our future trips to Tuscany.

01/10/2025: I ordered a small pizza here, which embodies pure Livorno tradition with fresh, authentic ingredients. The dough was phenomenal, fragrant, and very light, even though I ordered it for takeout. Highly recommended!

05/09/2025: We stayed all day over the weekend, using all the amenities offered. We rented an umbrella and loungers at a very reasonable price for the area, overlooking a stunning sea. We had lunch at the self-service restaurant, where there's always a wide selection of seafood and meat dishes. In the evening, impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, we dined on the terrace with a breathtaking view and expertly prepared dishes. The care and attention the owners put into researching and preparing their dishes is evident. In short, a place to relax while lounging overlooking the sea, have fun chatting with the owner and the always very hospitable staff, but above all, a place to recharge, eat, and drink very well.

04/09/2025: Terrace with a stunning view, free parking for guests. We had dinner on the terrace, very beautiful, and had risotto with creamed zucchini (good but quite salty). The staff was friendly.

08/06/2025: Excellent pastry shop, fresh and varied products, ice cream that finally tastes like the described flavor and not just cold water! Well done, a jewel in the crown of the neighborhood and hopefully not only!

02/10/2025: A small place off the main road in Montemerano. Their beer is excellent, and the local wines are also good! The pinsa and crostini are delicious! The staff is friendly and helpful! Highly recommended!

16/10/2025: Now a regular stop at least twice a week, the pizza is really good and tasty, as are the pasticciotti, the soft focaccia. The prices are more than fair and the pizza slices are generous, with two pieces you get three to be a bit generous and the owners are very kind and friendly.

23/10/2025: The atmosphere is that of a wholesome trattoria of yesteryear, but unfortunately the prices have caught up with modern times. The tordelli are good, but the meat-based main courses are unfortunately dominated by the ubiquitous steak. Portions are average. Service is quick, perhaps even a little too quick.

03/10/2025: A very informal but, all in all, pleasant restaurant. Excellent home-cooked food and good wine. Friendly staff. The lady serving tables is excellent, and despite the crowds, she's quick and attentive. Congratulations!

03/05/2025: I went to the pastry shop on April 29th to pick up the best profiterol I've ever eaten and some excellent sweets, I even got a discount. Exceptional quality, the gentleman is very kind, I highly recommend.
