16/07/2025: I spent a day at the beach at a truly well-maintained beach club, which I had booked for the whole day. I arrived around noon and, despite the late arrival, was still charged the full rate. I didn't object; it was my responsibility not to know the start time of the possible reduced rate. Admittedly, the staff wasn't the friendliest, but I chose not to raise the issue. The club itself is excellent, well-serviced, with open showers included in the price (closed ones cost money), clean and functional changing rooms, bathrooms in excellent condition, parking included, and a beach area equipped with an umbrella, chair, deckchair, two loungers, and a table. Nothing to complain about in this regard. The problem was the restaurant, which, despite appearing tidy and with seemingly knowledgeable wait staff, was the subject of a decidedly unpleasant experience. I ordered a seafood salad, my friend a Greek salad. Mine was well presented, hers a little less so: the tomatoes were sliced, not diced as indicated on the menu, and the yogurt sauce, which was mentioned, was missing. These were minor things we decided to let slide, especially since we'd been told the kitchen closed at 2:30 PM, and we were seated around 2:00 PM. But precisely because it was so close to closing time, they could have simply told us they were no longer able to guarantee adequate service. Instead, they sat us down, only to offer us a disappointing experience. The fish in my salad, aside from a few delicious shrimp, was mediocre. But the worst came when I found a piece of spaghetti at the bottom of my plate. I called the waitress, who, I must say, was extremely kind and professional, and she told me she would ask the kitchen for an explanation. After twenty minutes, she told me that, according to the chef, it could have been because the pasta maker is nearby and something might have ended up in it by mistake. They added that the dish would be taken off the bill. No one suggested redoing it, no one bothered to offer a real solution. Now, if the kettle is really so close that it's contaminating the dishes being served, there's a serious hygiene issue. But even putting that aside, what I find unacceptable is the casualness with which the matter was handled, as if simply saying "you don't pay for it" would be enough to shut everything down. It's not about the value of the dish, but the idea that a customer should ignore it for convenience or the time of day. I didn't want to start a controversy right now. I decided to call it a day and enjoy the rest of the day, which, this slip-up aside, was pleasant. But I truly hope the restaurant management understands that service isn't measured solely by aesthetics or apparent courtesy, but also, and above all, by respect for the customer, especially when something goes wrong.

08/06/2025: Nice restaurant, with a beautiful terrace overlooking part of the Mugello, with a special atmosphere at sunset. As always, a pleasant evening. We tried mixed appetizers (good), tortelli (not up to the level of others in the area) and mixed grill (I thought better). In general I would say the food was quite good, but not the best. Wine by the glass (only house) was quiet (but not more) and the service was ok.

08/06/2025: Ristorante carino, con una bella terrazza su parte del Mugello, con atmosfera speciale al tramonto. Come sempre quindi serata piacevole. Noi abbiamo assaggiato antipasti misti (buoni), tortelli (non all'altezza di altri in zona) e grigliata mista (pensavo meglio). In generale direi cibo abbastanza buono, ma non il massimo. Vino al calice (solo della casa) tranquillo (ma non di più) e servizio ok.

22/04/2025: first time in this restaurant, years ago it was a grocery store. honestly I will come back here, the waiting staff who I think was also one of the owners were extremely kind. the menu clearly based on meat and of excellent quality! I decided to try the spaghetti with sausage and puntarelle, and then the fried lamb with artichokes. my daughter started with the prosciutto crudo, and from the first taste it was clearly a handmade and quality product, and then pasta with butter. my wife opted for the artichoke flan and then pappardelle with duck ragù!

23/07/2025: Amazing, the lady was so sympathetic and caring thank you so much the food was delicious. We felt as if it was a dinner at home. The fish we chose was incredibly fresh and well cooked.

24/06/2025: Due to an error on a well-known online booking platform, I book and receive a booking confirmation for the day the restaurant is closed. I only notice this when I arrive at the restaurant. Intrigued, I book again (this time by phone) for the following day. Appetizer and first course. Octopus and potatoes with a few tentacles of the dried octopus (perhaps left out in the air for a while?) and heated in the microwave. Gnocchi with clams, good and plentiful. Service not very attentive.

02/07/2025: Ice creams and pastries made with ice cream and biscuits. Plenty of choice. The sales assistants enthusiastically described the cakes I was craving. I chose a tiramisu and a mascarpone cake. Super good!

25/07/2025: A garden restaurant, a privileged spot for a quiet dinner. Knowledgeable and helpful staff, varied cuisine, including both fish and meat. We already knew the place, and it lived up to expectations.

14/06/2025: The clowns' circus! After an hour and a half of waiting they didn't even bother to tell us that they had forgotten to order pizzas and the waitress even had the nerve to tell the head waiter that it wasn't true! What a shame. 103 euro bill, 3 appetizers 1 second course and they even made us pay for water and cover charge. Never again! Just be ashamed (in addition to the mistakes made on the orders brought!)

19/05/2025: A beautiful location. Very nice and friendly hosts. The food is a matter of taste. The pizza is rather thick, unusual for this region. We didn't try the classic version. The pasta was very tasty.

23/01/2025: Like every year, I can't miss going to eat at this farmhouse. The service is familiar as is the food of excellent quality and well cooked at an excellent price (€30 adults, €18 children up to 12 years). You recommend everyone to try them if you come around here.

05/07/2025: We were made to feel very welcome by the hospitable people of Enoteca Svanen and greatly enjoyed our evening. Excellent value for Brunello as well.

06/04/2025: Ottima cucina con possibilità di asporto o di consumazione sul posto. Menù variegato, per tutti i gusti. Buoni i vini. Occorre munirsi di pazienza perché al bancone sono solo in due, una per la preparazione delle pietanze e l’altra per il servizio. Nei weekend è preso d’assalto e il tutto si traduce in tempi di attesa un po’ esasperati. Consigliato comunque per la cortesia e la qualità offerta!

11/04/2025: A Palazzone frazione di San Casciano dei Bagni, di ritorno a Roma abbiamo incontrato questa trattoria. Veramente casareccia, gestita dai proprietari, con bar, giornali, e varia rivendita, un punto fermo e di ritrovo praticamente in mezzo alle campagne. Ottimo per un bel pranzetto se non hai pretese esagerate o di chiccherie. Menu con offerta di prodotti locali, molto buoni i Pici all’aglione e la loro zuppa di verdure dell’orto. Antipasto di prosciutto casareccio buono ma lo taglierei un poco più sottile. Io che sono un amante dei fagioli li ho trovati molto buoni e ben conditi con delle gustose salsiccie. Vino di Azienda locale molto beverino. Molto gentile il proprietario che serve ai tavoli, nonostante sia impegnatissimo . Conto per chi viene dalla città molto molto economico. Dispongono anche di un Bed breakfast Complimenti Bravi a presto

07/01/2025: Piccolo b&b a gestione famigliare, con annesso ristorantino, condotto sotto ogni aspetto con estrema professionalità che soddisfa chi cerca qualità a prezzi ragionevoli, in un contesto ambientale molto bello e altrettanto tranquillo. Ottima cucina e camere pulite e funzionali.
