19/07/2025: It's now my go-to for business lunch when I'm in the area. The food is excellent, with large portions and a good serving time. If I lived in the area, I'd try it in the evening too. Highly recommended.

21/10/2025: One early autumn evening, I visited this restaurant, located in Marciana Alta, with a lovely view. I quite enjoyed it, and ordered a seafood appetizer—perhaps a little pricey, but good. And a basic fried fish.

04/10/2025: Nice restaurant with a nice view and friendly service. However, I find €80 per kilo for the catch of the day to be exorbitant when it's mistakenly served with its tag still on (including a large hooked fish on its head with a description in Greek and English indicating that it's a Greek farmed product). When I ordered the catch of the day, the waiter confirmed that he had 800 grams of sea bream and asked if that would be okay, which I agreed. I'm sorry, but we all know the cost of Greek fish. I want to believe the chef's version of events, which tells me that they prefer Greek products from the simpler supply chain on the island to local ones. But even if it's good quality, I don't think it costs €80 per kilo. The chef was understanding and gave me an €8 discount, making this dish cost €52 instead of €60. To avoid misunderstandings when the price per kg/100g is indicated, I would recommend also indicating the origin of the raw material, for the sake of fairness towards the customer.

10/05/2025: Este es un restaurante absolutamente especial con una personalidad muy clara, no dirigido a los turistas, ya que el menú no cuenta con todos los platos típicos de la Toscana que uno encuentra en otros lugares de las ciudades turísticas. La comida es excepcional, preparada con ingredientes excepcionales y con un fuerte enfoque en verduras de temporada (como vegetariano, a menudo me resulta difícil pedir en la mayoría de los restaurantes, especialmente en la Toscana y Piamonte y Lombardía, pero este restaurante tenía seis platos que fácilmente podía pedir muy feliz). La familia cultiva sus propias verduras, y la frescura es palpable en cada uno de los platos. También hornean su propio pan de masa madre y focaccia, ambos deliciosos. Teníamos cinco platos, de los cuales nuestros dos favoritos eran la cecina (una tortita de harina de garbanzos como farinata y socca) cubierta con casa - calabaza en conserva y patatas ahumadas y verduras para bebés, y tagliolini fresco con espárragos y crema de Parmigiano. Los propietarios Fabio y Tatiana son excepcionalmente amables y hospitalarios y su bulldog francés Maya es realmente adorable. ¡Vale la pena parar!

01/11/2025: When we arrived, we couldn't even tell where the entrance was—there was no sign. But whatever, we went ahead and opened the door, and there wasn't even a single member of staff to greet us, much less say hello. They just walked right past us. The food has really gotten worse; the dishes are bland, and even in that respect, they've gotten worse. We came once this summer, and it wasn't like that. The woman serving us (in the pink jersey) in particular was truly rude and surly. Just to give you an example of something that happened to us: she'd come in with a plate in her hand and literally slam it on the table. I was truly shocked by this. Just looking at her while she was serving the others made me want to get up from my chair and leave. Honestly, I absolutely don't recommend this place; it's not worth it.

31/10/2025: Updated October 30, 2025 The seven olive harvesters of '25, on a stormy, rainy, and windy day, indulged in a great-value seafood lunch: 4 appetizers...the 5 courses were always good. 5 first courses: clam and porcini mushroom gnocchi; seafood carbonara; spaghetti with monkfish; tagliatelle with octopus and tagliatelle with cucchi and calamari. 3 second courses: grilled fish; grilled calamari and mixed fried fish. ...everything was cooked to perfection, generous dishes that were a delight to the palate. March 31, 2022: On the SS322 Scansanense highway, in the homeland of the wild boar, at the Montorgiali junction, a wonderfully prepared FISH-based cuisine is offered: ° House appetizers, 5 courses ° Spaghetti with clams, paccheri with shrimp and burrata, tortelli with ricotta and sea bass ° Mixed fried fish ° Vermentino ... quality/price ratio "unmatched" AGLM terrenere

05/10/2025: We received 8 hamburger sandwiches + 1 salmon (wrong, I never ordered a fish sandwich) ALL COMPLETELY RAW, NOT rare! Since we all eat meat, even tartare or rare. It was absolutely raw. After calling the restaurant to inform them of what happened, Ms. Jessica took the liberty of completely contradicting the 8 customers, without even raising the slightest doubt about the possibility of incorrect cooking. Moreover, these were customers who had already been to the restaurant and found it good. But, after the employee's unprofessional and unsympathetic behavior, I think there is a risk of losing customers, and it's truly a shame. You should reprimand the lady because you don't react to the public by responding rudely, raising your voice on the phone, questioning the customer without proof and with arrogance. Especially after an order of over €90. I feel very sorry for the restaurant.

18/10/2025: We enjoyed the great food, the lovely atmosphere, and the friendly staff so much that we returned to i'Bacco Toscana several times during our vacation. We were there for my birthday too; it couldn't have been better. Thank you for the birthday candle in the tiramisu! :) Grazie mille!
