02/05/2025: I ordered the Affogato with Pistachio. At €8 this is very expensive, and, in my opinion it is definitely not worth it. Average coffee and average gelato to go with it. I would say it is 100% not worth the long lines if you go later in the day time. The you could get something like this elsewhere without long lines and probably much cheaper. Here you will be paying the instagram influencer hype premium for an average experience I also ate a chocolate croissant however, and this was delicious. Overalll I would not recommend this place. If you really want to try it, then, one should arrive very early soon after opening to avoid the long wait.

01/05/2025: Locale non attrezzato ad accogliere la gran quantità di clienti. Impossibile trovare un posto a sedere al suo interno. Gelato affogato nel caffé buono ma troppo costoso ( 6 euro per una quantită da coppetta piccola, 8 per la stessa quantità al pistacchio é assolutamente deplorevole). Inoltre dover mangiarlo nella tazza da cappuccino, quando i tavoli sono occupati, comporta dover andare per strada, con tazza e piattino in mano, in mezzo ai passanti e senza posto a sedere per poi dover restituire la tazza sia scomodo e stressante, anche perché si rischia di sporcarsi con il caffè. Il gelato senza il caffé é veramente troppo dolce. Consiglio: per chi vuole risparmiare, ordini una coppetta della dimensione che piú preferisce e un caffé da asporto, scavare il gelato con la paletta e versare il caffé al suo interno. Risultato identico a quello di 6 euro ma a un prezzo ragionevole. Per cortesia non spendete 8 euro per la versione al pistacchio perché non vi é alcuna differenza con la versione alla vaniglia in quanto il caffé copre molto il sapore del pistacchio.

22/04/2025: Tried it last night, Easter Monday by chance. We ordered the pizza by the meter, honestly I wasn't very impressed, it turned out to be very rubbery. Furthermore, in the veranda where they made us sit, there wasn't much cleanliness, the ceiling, or rather its covering has never seen a high pressure washer and also the cleaning of the outdoor floor and the movable walls, I would define it as very summary... the contradiction is the ban on entry to pets, I could understand inside the room... but also on the veranda... I find it excessive, if then said even without too much courtesy. For me, FAIL with flying colors.

19/04/2025: They have very delicious pizzas, don't ask if there is a pizza with platter, it's worth trying, you won't regret it and the price is good 👍😇😇

07/04/2025: We chose this restaurant by chance, attracted by the good reviews and we were very satisfied. We were welcomed by two lovely and professional girls, the environment is informal but refined and the food satisfied us well beyond expectations. Being in Tuscany we didn't miss out on a fabulous 1kg ribeye... delicious and cooked to perfection. The bill was adequate for what we ate. Highly recommended restaurant!

Very helpful in organizing the event, they took care of every detail with passion and professionalism! We used many different environments to make every moment special, alternating outside and inside, we also had the symbolic ceremony in the garden. Very valid plan B in case of bad weather. 12/10/2024: Conosciamo e frequentiamo questo ristorante da tanti anni, ed abbiamo deciso io e mio marito di organizzare da loro un pranzo con amici in occasione del nostro 20 anniversario di matrimonio... Non finiremo mai di ringraziare la Taverna per aver realizzato un evento in un modo così... perfetto...curato nei minimi dettagli, con grande professionalità e abilità culinaria , che già tantissimi partecipanti hanno elogiato !! Siete stati davvero... speciali!!! Avete anche avuto la gentilezza di permettere ai nostri ospiti di ammirare il vostro splendido presepe meccanico... davvero una giornata indimenticabile!!!! 01/12/2024: Aspetti positivi:Luogo ben situato, con parcheggi adiacenti, facile da raggiungere e ben visibile, il personale è professionale, gentile e simpatico. Aspetti negativi: all'apertura c'era un aperitivo a buffet giovedì, venerdì e sabato, che è andata smarrita con la pandemia covid. Post pandemia (siamo nel 2024) giusto due patatine non di ottima qualità e prezzi dei calici quasi raddoppiati. Aspetto ancor più che negativo, il freddo gelido in inverno in veranda semichiusa dove vi è la possibilità di fumare, e qui c'è proprio la mancanza di volontà di rendere una serata piacevole al cliente evitando di mettere fonti di calore. Infatti vado molto volentieri solo nelle stagioni temperate.

15/11/2024: Personale meraviglioso, vengo per aperitivo 2/3 volte a settimana, il "prosecco" della casa alla spina €3,00 a calice, come una bottiglia del supermercato a €3,00 lasciato aperto due settimane, gli stuzzichini....lasciamo perdere. Veranda esterna.... dove puoi stare tranquillo a fare aperitivo e poter fumare.....siamo rimasti in pochi... Parliamo del clima....in estate sudi anche l'acqua del battesimo, in inverno ti si gela anche i peli del mignolo....... Non credo che non si possa rimediare!!!!!!!! Basterebbe un fungo, una stufetta, qualsiasi cosa che sia regolare per l'ambiente, basterebbe un po' di considerazione per il cliente

21/07/2024: I met this restaurant and its fabulous staff a couple of years ago, a very welcoming environment, an environment that becomes familiar over time. I would say an environment of times gone by, you become part of everyday life with them, you get to know each other and thus fabulous friendships are born. Working nearby, every now and then I treat myself to a quick greeting or lunch from Gianluca. Both he and his wife or the legendary Francesca pamper every customer, they are always cheerful, fun. 13/07/2024: Ambiente buio,sporco,vetrina con cose indefinite al suo interno,titolare che cerca di fare il simpaticone....piatti a dire poco indecenti...sono rimasti al 1970....pasta precotta e raffreddata sotto l acqua fredda dato che ha perso il suo colore e scotta la salsa messa sopra e tanta acqua sotto alla pasta stessa un roast beef indecente l unica cosa buona erano le rape rosse comprate gia cotte....l acqua ti arriva in bottiglie di vetro con il rigo del calcaree l olierà in tavola con olio che sembra di semi di infima qualità....un caffè che sembra d orzo....va bene che a pranzo il costo è di 10€ ma piuttosto un panino . Ci siamo capitati una volta ma sarà anche l ultima. Il posto avrebbe anche chance dato che è vicino ad un Grande ospedale (Careggi)ma così No.

02/02/2025: Pranzo con un gruppo di amici, accoglienza cortese, gentilezza e premura durante l’intero pasto. Prodotti di loro produzione, piatti cucinati secondo tradizione, gustosi e abbondanti. Ci torneremo.

29/01/2025: Dall'esterno il locale quasi non si nota e sembra piuttosto un negozio di generi alimentari. All'interno però ci sono cinque tavoli apparecchiati semplicemente, mentre spiccano un banco frigorifero pieno di prelibatezze e vari scaffali pieni di vini, marmellate ecc. Il menu scritto su alcune lavagne elenca soprattutto piatti tipici toscani, tutti (almeno quelli sperimentati) di eccellente qualità. Il personale è incredibilmente attento e servizievole, ben al di sopra della media regionale. Il conto assai ragionevole. Un ottimo indirizzo per chi cerca semplicità e piatti genuini!
