29/10/2025: This place is simply perfect! Beautiful inside and out, spectacular service, wonderful "primer e secondi piatti" (first and second courses). The house wine is also amazing! Highly recommended!!!

29/10/2025: Ok we all know that italian food is great in every single place, but this is the best restaurant I've been since I've got to Italy! The food is great, I had a amazing steak with fries and also tried the pasta and cheesecake, all perfect! Staff are very friendly and pay a huge attention. The place itself is awesome, clean and well decorated.

24/09/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had the Polpettine for starters – wonderfully fresh and aromatic. Then came the Polpo Insalata and Le Penne in Barca: both absolutely delicious, perfectly seasoned. The service was friendly and prompt. An all-around successful evening – highly recommended!

28/10/2025: My husband and I were in Florence for our anniversary and were lucky enough to obtain a lunch reservation at Saporium. Given the intimate nature of the seating, it seems the dinner reservations would go quickly. The atmosphere and staff are incredible. The pride they have in what they do can be seen in every careful and thoughtful action and interaction with each guest. The decor is relaxing and serene, as if in the garden the delicious meals are being prepared from. Everyone was incredibly attentive and the pace of meal was completely on point. We have been to Michelin star restaurants across the US and Italy, I have to say I was shocked that they don’t have more Michelin stars with how delectable the food is. Saporium is only rivaled in my opinion by Eric Ripert’s La Bernardin. We tried the chefs tasting menu, which was a cross amongst their other tasting menu options. Every course was as delicious as the last, not one of our ten courses disappointed. The flavors were perfectly harmonized and danced across our taste buds with every new bite. We could have stayed for hours, continuing to be treated to this culinary gift. We will be back to Florence and most certainly back to Saporium Firenze as we cannot wait to try a dinner service!

22/10/2025: Wife and I came here while in Florence for a week and this was by far the worst meal I had. We pad 660 euro for the 10 course tasting menu and annoyingly was pitched an upgrade for caviar which happen to be the best part of the meal. To start we walk in and the host who barely could hear as he whispered sat us at our table. We then sat there for about 5 mins then they ask us to go to the bar which you have to go outside and in another door to get 3 drinks that were mediocre at best. Finally after sweating at the bar lounge that take us back outside and sit us at our table again. Then proceeded to sale pitch us caviar which I expected to be apart of the experience at 215 per person. We agree without regret as it was the what part of this experience.we even meet the Chef and he was there for the first dish to come out. The entire meal we were literally sweating because the restaurant was so hot that we were using our water glasses to cool us down . We then get served our first dish. Was a solid 7.5 out 10. Well following that not a single thing was good. Literally every dish was disappointing and nothing went together. We couldn’t hear a single thing they told us about the dishes so after 3 dishes and asking them to repeat themselves we gave up and just took it as is. The waiters literally whispered to you . They were all nice and polite but it drove us crazy. So anyways we keep getting dishes and nit a single thing was what you expected from a Michelin star restaurant. One dish still stands out and not in a good way it was 3 pastas with a mussel on top of each. Absolutely terrible. The mussels were dry and rubbery. I couldn’t even eat em. I spit the one I ate out and let the servers take it. When I told em how I felt they argued and seemed annoyed . And my wife felt exactly the same about the dish . 0-10. Got few more dishes that I can’t remember that’s how little awe they gave to arrive to the final dish. A horrible cut of steak that had fat that wasn’t edible on it and no flavor. Was extremely chewy. Not what you’d expect. We didn’t finish this dish either . The entire experience was such a let down as this was our fist Michelin star dinner and nothing was good. The united flights food stood out more than any dish we received. My wife emailed them and pretty much was told that our opinion doesn’t matter. I won’t ever recommend a single person here and would love to be refunded if possible. This was the worst food we had in our entire 9 days in Italy without a doubt . The restaurant was beautiful and being able to watch the cooks was awesome but the food itself was the biggest let down I’ve ever experienced in a high quality restaurant.

03/10/2025: Unbelievable pizza and all-round experience. Staff are super friendly and food is both tasty and very reasonably priced, especially if you like to eat a lot (we had a half-meter each)!

06/10/2025: This was such a memorable meal in beautifully atmospheric surroundings. It's a week later and I'm still thinking about the food (and wine) - the liver pâté with black cherry was a particular highlight, incredibly inventive and so delicious! You can really tell that the chef has a lot care and love for the food. The restaurant itself is also very unique, down in the cellar of the olive oil mill - makes for a very cosy and relaxing environment. Along with the warm and attentive service, I didn't want to leave at the end of the meal! Truly a destination restaurant to seek out if you are in the area.

24/09/2025: Had dinner here for my birthday. Really appreciated that the staff spoke excellent English and knew exactly what was safe for a pregnant woman. They even adapted the menu for me, which was fantastic. Every dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious.

12/09/2025: The terrace is very pretty, with a wonderful view of the valley. The food is good and reasonably priced, and the staff is very friendly. The only downside is that you shouldn't rush things... from appetizer to dessert... everything was good... I repeat. But half an hour can pass between courses. Aside from that... I'd gladly return.

10/08/2025: Excellent. Homemade and truly delicious food. Don't be pretentious about the wine. It's all included in the €28 set menu. Abundant appetizer First course Second course Side dish Dessert Coffee or grappa. Excellent!! ...and the staff is very friendly and fast.

13/11/2025: Service moody and not customer driven. Refused to serve spaghetti cozze instead of vongole, even they had cozze. Fritto misto fresh, but small portion.

11/11/2025: We've been twice in the space of 15 days. We return every year. The first time, both the service and the food weren't up to par; the second time, everything was excellent. The owners always treat us with great courtesy. We had a seafood appetizer, mussels, fried fish, and linguine with bottarga. Everything was good.

17/09/2025: We had a wonderful lunch at this restaurant in Scarperia. We were visiting from the United States, my cousin Giuseppe is a friend of the owner. What a wonderful meal, we had with ravioli and a delicious Bolognese sauce. We sat outside, the service was wonderful and the smiles by the owner and the waitress were delightful. Thank you, Luca. It was nice to meet you.

28/09/2025: Unfortunately, I can't highly recommend this restaurant. I had what was probably the worst carbonara of my life here. It tasted like plain pasta with egg, and the ham was cheap and absolutely disgusting. The service was okay, but not outstanding.

25/08/2025: A wonderful, historic pub in Empoli in this new location. Excellent beers and very friendly service. Perfect for spending an evening with friends over a good drink. Excellent value for money.
