25/04/2025: Siamo stati a pranzo oggi. Unica nota dolente l' apertura del locale alle 13 con tutti i clienti ad aspettare fuori. Il ristorante era pieno ma siamo stati serviti abbastanza in fretta. È arrivato per primo un primo invece degli antipasti. Il primi buoni come la frittura e il branzino. La padellata di pesce buona e abbondante. Con acqua vino, dolce e caffè abbiamo speso 32€ a testa

30/03/2025: A simple but tidy and clean environment, punctual and fast service. We took the Tuscan platter, a nice platter with good quality ham, salami and cheese, also a plate of pappardelle with wild boar which was sublime and finally the plate of tagliolini with butter and anchovies; extraordinary. And what about the cantuccini with Ronchi Pinchi passito?. All quality raw materials.

25/03/2025: Just one piece of advice: buy a bread with more personality, oil sandwiches are not good. for the croutons use fresh bread, not packaged ones 1 crouton with tomatoes is more appreciated as the stuff from the jars tastes of nothing, taste before bringing to the table, polenta is better a product with personality even if instant, the one you serve tastes of nothing and looks like a puree, the macaroni is good, the main courses are good, the desserts with a few updates could be a very good menu. Mine is just advice and not a criticism

26/12/2024: Passing through for a coffee, a star of honor for being the only bar open on Boxing Day. Very nice guy at the counter, bathroom ok for every type of need.. Too bad he didn't have lottery tickets.

16/04/2025: Eravamo alla ricerca di un posto poco turistico e, grazie alla segnalazione del nostro host, ci rechiamo presso il Capriccio. Il ristorante è estremamente intimo, luci soffuse, pochi coperti e la calda atmosfera di un tipico “salone” toscano. L’accoglienza di Danilo è il valore aggiunto che ti fa sentire subito a casa. L’offerta del menù fa tutto il resto: un rapporto qualità-prezzo eccellente (raro in questi contesti fortemente turistici) , le prelibatezze locali servite dalle due straordinarie chef (moglie e figlia di Danilo), la scelta del vino ad hoc legata alle pietanze (grazie al sapiente supporto del padrone di casa). Una nota di merito agli gnocchi “tirati a mano” serviti con una fonduta di pecorino, pepe e scaglie di tartufo. Tutto, ma davvero tutto, ci ha fatto lasciare il ristorante.. senza neppure “un capriccio”! Anzi sì, uno solo: quello di tornarci al più presto!

15/04/2025: Ottimo ristorante a conduzione famigliare .. prodotti ottimi .. locale con pochi tavoli ma molto curato e accogliente ..titolare simpatico e molto preparato .. veramente un’ottima sorpresa..

07/03/2025: Non lasciatevi ingannare dall' aspetto nulla altro che normale dell' esterno del locale, che in realtà è un hotel. Qui l ambiente è elegante ma familiare, tranquillo ma colloquiale e Elga chiacchera come tra amici o vicini di quartiere. Abbiamo mangiato un goloso antipasto di salume e pane fritto, un buon primo di ravioli ed una ottima tagliata. In più una panna cotta divina. Che dire? Torniamo si, certo che torniamo!

05/01/2025: Attività di famiglia, ti senti come a casa, qualità dei prodotti e la passione della cucina si assapora nei piatti. Tutto veramente buono, bella l'idea del menù diviso in parte tradizionale ed innovativa. COMPLIMENTI.

04/05/2025: We went today for lunch with friends and our dog. The atmosphere is welcoming, the service excellent and friendly. The FRANCO menu is complete, good and with the right portions. We will return.

30/04/2025: Apart from the panzerotti with ham and stracchino, the rest should be thrown away. Like the first course with vegetables.

12/01/2025: We stayed in this property from December 30, 2024 to January 1, 2025 with family and friends. The accommodations and the setting are beautiful, truly top! The food is of the highest quality and everything is truly excellent, as is the very refined wine of our own production. I am not giving 5 stars for 2 reasons: hot water was not immediately available in the houses on the 31st morning and evening. Once reported, the problem was resolved in a short time, however I believe that in such a beautiful and superior quality property, an event like this is penalizing. Another reason is linked to the distance between the apartments and the restaurant, which was not reported to us: having booked a 'New Year's Eve' package and having children in tow, it would have been important to know about this distance to travel by car.
