22/07/2025: Delusione totale: 72€ per uscire affamati Ho pagato 72€ per: • una ciabatta, • un “calice” di vino bianco che erano due sorsi e mezzo, • un tentacolo di polpo con due pomodorini tristi, • un panino con hamburger e patatine, • e una bottiglia d’acqua naturale. Porzioni minuscole, prezzi esagerati, e una sensazione generale di essere stati presi in giro. La qualità era discreta, ma niente che giustifichi un conto del genere. Il ristorante si chiama “Mangia”, ma forse avrebbero dovuto aggiungere un asterisco: “Mangia* (*poco, ma paga tanto!)”**. Non tornerò e non lo consiglio, a meno che non vogliate provare l’ebbrezza di spendere tanto per restare con la fame.

22/06/2025: Una volta, lo scorso anno, non mi trovai bene. Questo anno sono già due volte che ci torno. Atmosfera top, barche a vista sullo sfondo, gente giusta e brezza che rinfrescava la giornata. Camerieri vecchi e nuovi col sorriso sulle labbra. Opto per calamarata di polpo, secondo il caciucco di moscardini, più un branzino con verdure. Ottima tutto, giusto il conto. Abbrevio stavolta, sicuramente l’ho recensito positivamente più volte, qui si va sul sicuro.

13/06/2025: Disfrutamos de nuestra visita a este restaurante tenía varias comidas aquí desayuno cena y té todo el personal muy agradable muy amable tuvimos el filete de florentina para el té una noche que era muy agradable y mucho de él tuvimos para 2 personas, pero fácilmente podría ser para 4 personas. El desayuno tenía varios pasteles que son muy agradables también

02/05/2025: Posto molto interessante,alla periferia di Montecatini ,tagliere toscano con salumi ottimi e focaccetta fantastica ,i primi molto buoni...gnocchetti al sugo di granchio e tordelli al ragù..il tutto annaffiato da un buon bianco.prezzi al di sotto della media per la qualità .Consigliatissimo

04/04/2025: FINALMENTE siamo tornati a degustare il pesce dal Matto,a pranzo il venerdì nuovamente in menù.....oggi un Risotto allo scoglio da favola,una frittura croccante ed un'insalata di mare semplicemente gustosa....Quanti ricordi ci sono tornati in mente...quante serate , anni orsono ,ad aspettare lo show di Fulvio che dopo una superba cena "pesciaiola" distribuiva vassoiate in testa ai commensali.....

30/06/2025: Had a gorgeous vegetarian pizza but I replaced the mushrooms with ham! So so tasty, full but had to finish. Had paracetamol after, delicious. Loved the whole atmosphere, felt like the "Nonnas' film, very much a family/local affair, in front and behind the counter and delicious food - great price too.

12/07/2025: One of those reviews I never want to write, especially for a local restaurant that I thought was good. We attended a charity event at this restaurant, and we had asked in advance if we'd be attending the following aperitif and if we had any allergies/intolerances (which we had communicated several times over the past few weeks). When we ordered, we were told to bring one of the trays WITHOUT LACTOSE OR CHEESE due to my casein ALLERGY. After a long wait (made bearable by the beautiful evening), the aforementioned tray was brought with Parmesan cheese sprinkled in the center over the cold cuts. I immediately pointed this out to the waiter, who justified himself by saying that it was lactose-free Parmesan (I know that those proteins decay in Parmesan cheese after 36 months, but unfortunately, in my case, the casein doesn't decay) and asked if the next tray (the one for one) could be made without cheese. The waiter insisted on taking it back, saying they'd make it again from scratch. After a few minutes, he returned with the same tray from which the Parmesan had clearly ONLY been REMOVED, leaving crumbs everywhere. When I complained that not only did I feel mocked but that their attitude was also extremely dangerous to my health, a member of staff literally pounced on our table and started ranting about the impossibility of guaranteeing zero contamination in the kitchen, when I was simply explaining that my condition is sensitive to contact contamination, not airborne contamination, and I had simply asked for a separate plate of cured meats and that was it. Moral of the story: no excuses, no new cold cuts, but fortunately some crostini arrived on a separate plate, and out of the four trays I ordered, I managed to eat at least those... I'm not angry about the exorbitant bill. I'm not angry if, due to lack of experience or haste, there was no ability or willingness to wash one's hands between each dish. I'm pissed off at having been mocked, because if, due to the dim lighting in the square, I hadn't noticed that the cheese had simply been removed, I'd probably be writing from a hospital... or worse.

23/04/2025: Courtesy and great competence. Excellent high quality food and drinks. Ideal for an aperitif but not only. Excellent welcome. Ideal place for a moment of relaxation, from breakfast onwards.

14/04/2025: I'll start by saying that the undersigned, for unknown reasons, was treated very badly by the owner/waitress. Ignored when ordering pizzas Ignored 2 times while trying to tell her I wanted a simple coke to drink. Once the pizza arrived (raw and tasteless) the legendary lady coughed slightly on the surface. An experience bordering on blasphemy, a true blasphemy for the homage to the famous Neapolitan pizza. Absolutely not recommended.

18/04/2025: Having passed by chance in the area today, I noticed this pastry shop! (They have been open since 2017, think about it 😂 ) The very kind lady at the counter welcomes us with a beautiful smile; I take a classic pasticciotto and another sweet piece with cherries which, unfortunately, I don't remember the name of! What can I say, excellent and truly good products! I give the pasticciotto a 4.5/5 because in the half I shared I only found one cherry (the other person got two 😂 ). I give the other sweet piece a 4/5: soft dough, very good, good filling but, to my personal taste, a mix of flavors that I'm probably not very used to. The high quality of the product itself undoubtedly remains. I'll be back soon, maybe in the morning to discover more of their delights!

22/06/2025: We arrived at 9 pm for our booked table. We asked to be seated outside, which was fine. However, at 9:25 pm our table was still not set, and our order had not been taken. When we asked to order, the staff questioned whether we had been seated without their knowledge. After the table was finally set, the waiter said someone would take our order. We waited another 15 minutes before leaving. Forty minutes were wasted; we recommend choosing another restaurant.

10/05/2025: Fiorentina EXCELLENT!!! In general, the quality of the food is good, the prices are fair and within the norm... I recommend it for anyone who wants to eat an EXCELLENT Florentine steak!
