We went there several times during our stay in Florence, and every visit was wonderful. I’d like to give special thanks to Norbert, who welcomed us warmly and was very attentive and friendly. 03/01/2026: Highly recommended for lunch near the Strozzi Palace and the Uffizi Gallery. Excellent pasta, good service, and a comfortable atmosphere. Home-style, family-run food. The tagliatelle with pesto was wonderful, and the gnocchi with tomato sauce was also very good. We didn't take pictures of the main courses, but we thoroughly enjoyed them. Prices are typical for the area; not cheap, but not expensive either. Perhaps the best value for money we found in our four days in Florence. We were there a few days ago and didn't want to miss the opportunity to write a review. Thank you.

All this was paired with incredibly fast, friendly, and attentive service, a rarity these days, considering the wait staff is made up of very young men and women. The dishes were generous and constantly changing. The value for money was definitely among the best in the Upper Tiber Valley (P.S.: I live 20 km from this amazing restaurant). 02/03/2026: My husband took me here for lunch, and I have to say it was a pleasant surprise. We booked through The Fork with a 50% discount. I had an appetizer and a first course, and my husband had a first and second course. The dishes are carefully prepared, the staff is very friendly, we had a great time, and we finished with a delicious dessert.

04/01/2026: Excellent hotel/restaurant along the road leading to Volterra from Pomarance, 10 km before Volterra, in the Saline di Volterra area. Great Florentine steaks, 1 x 2 steaks weighing more than 1.3 kg, 2 first courses, pici, wild boar, and octopus, 2 small carafes of wine, coffee. Rich and inviting menu, featuring traditional Tuscan dishes. Friendly service, welcoming atmosphere, wines, bottles, half bottles, glasses, and carafes.

22/02/2026: We had a wonderful time; everything was perfect from start to finish. While we waited for our dishes, we were served freshly made focaccia, delicious! The appetizers were delicious; we had meatballs and polenta with wild boar ragù. Next up was risotto and pork cheek, mouth-watering. The desserts did justice to the entire dinner; the delicious chocolate cake. The staff was kind, welcoming, and friendly. We also liked the location of our table; it was secluded and created a warm atmosphere. Bravo!

07/01/2026: The restaurant is always wonderful. The girls are very sweet and very knowledgeable. The focaccia they make is world-class, as are the meat and other dishes. Excellent wine list. Exceptional customer service and a very warm and welcoming atmosphere.

09/03/2026: Here you'll find truly entertaining tours and tastings, as well as a top-notch restaurant. The farm produces not only great wines, but also cured meats and Cinta Senese pork, as well as seasonal vegetables and fruit. An experience not to be missed!

The tables were large, the table setting was done with plastic placemats, and the atmosphere was as dark as the parking lot. The food was good, but a bit pricey for the portions, and the cover charge was very high considering you were eating on plastic. I think there's room for improvement.

22/01/2026: Excellent lunch. The owner is a wonderful person, very helpful and friendly. You can tell he loves his job, and it always pays off. Excellent dishes with sophisticated pairings and quality ingredients. The purple potato gnocchi with gorgonzola fondue, which wasn't on the menu that day, were spectacular. They offer a small welcome appetizer and homemade cantucci. Highly recommended, and congratulations to the entire staff! If we return to the area, we'll definitely stop by to enjoy the owner's warm welcome, which truly won us over. If there were six stars, I would have given them all!
