28/12/2025: An experience that exceeded our expectations, from the welcome onward. The staff who served us were professional, knowledgeable, and most importantly, friendly and outgoing. Their wine knowledge is impeccable; they masterfully describe a cellar with high-quality labels, all excellent. We relied, as usual, on the chef's guidance, choosing the tasting menu with exquisite dishes that introduced us to the authentic flavors of the area and their garden. The place leaves you speechless as soon as you enter, with vaulted brick ceilings and decorated walls, transporting you to the old taverns of yesteryear. 30/12/2025: We went for lunch. I must say, the selection was truly excellent. The staff were extremely kind and knowledgeable. The menu was traditional yet contemporary. We had cacciucchino crostini, which were tasty and delicate. The octopus on mashed potatoes was incredibly soft and delicious. The octopus spaghetti with olives was delicious, and the scampi ravioli garnished with shrimp and squid and chopped black olives. The bisque was amazing, and the bisque made all the difference. We also had two glasses of fragrant Terricciola Vermentino. Compliments to the kitchen and management. Price in line with what we ordered, about €40 per person. Definitely recommended.

18/01/2026: A cozy and original place! They serve traditional Tuscan food with a wide selection of dishes. We ordered the mixed antipasto, full of cured meats, cheeses, crostini, and other specialties. Among the first courses, I recommend the tortellini with ragù and the gnocchi with turnip greens. Among the second courses, I recommend the peloso. The dessert sampling plate is a must: simply delicious. The service is simple and friendly, and the owners are welcoming and friendly. I recommend a visit!

02/01/2026: The perfect experience for those who want to enjoy authentic Florentine cuisine, with the constant feeling of being at home. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Despite one of our guests having multiple allergies and celiac disease, there were no problems accommodating our requests and ensuring we had a wonderful family dinner. The appetizers, first courses, second courses, and desserts were simply wonderful. Thank you so much for everything.

05/11/2025: Being in Lucca for several days, for my daughter wedding. Looking for the best lampredotto sandwich available, unfortunately not available at Fiaschetto, because they were out for the day, and preparing antipasti for a... wedding the next day! Fortunately for me, the same weeding that we were! :D Sooo, they brought me one lampredotto at the wedding! Excellent taste, excellent service level, I would warmly recommend Fiaschetto

15/01/2026: We had an absolutely outstanding dinner at Borgo San Jacopo for my husband’s birthday back in October. The restaurant itself is both cozy and beautiful and the service was attentive without feeling like someone was hovering over you all evening. We were given the option of ordering a la carte or a choice of 3 tasting menus with the caveat that if you choose a tasting menu the whole table must choose the same one. We went with a tasting menu and really loved the number of courses that it allowed us to sample. Favorite dishes were the ricotta snack, risotto with meatballs, the lamb loin and the salted caramel peanut bonbon at the end. The mushroom ice cream that was served with the crudités was very interesting and we also loved the house made olive oil. They really made my husband’s birthday feel special and it was one of our best meals in Italy.

05/01/2026: Having ended up there after being bounced from another restaurant, we were welcomed and taken on an exciting tasting menu. The quality of the ingredients combined with the chef's skill produce dishes that are unpredictable and delicious in every way. The service was impeccable, with a professionalism rarely found, even at other Michelin-starred restaurants. A huge round of applause and thanks to Domiziana, Lorenzo, and Salvatore.

13/11/2025: A pleasant discovery! I'd heard about this place and finally decided to try it, piqued by curiosity. Small but very welcoming, where you can relax and read a book! I tried a very good and unique poke. Fast service and affordable prices. It's a shame the bistro is a bit hidden, but I'd definitely go back!

12/11/2025: Special place: a bar and a bookshop, specializing in children's books, with a room for courses and meetings... To visit and return! Now there are access problems due to road reconstruction, but the uniqueness of the place is in the second entrance. Perhaps less comfortable but incredibly fascinating. Visiting the restaurant remains a priority if you pass through these parts. A plus is the service: the friendliness and affability of the owner are a plus that transforms every visit into an enchanting adventure. Update: road and access finally fixed, it is confirmed as a true oasis for a restaurant for the soul and... also the stomach... highly recommended.

05/01/2026: A wonderful restaurant in San Casciano in Val di Pesa, offering tasty and imaginative dishes courtesy of chefs Federico and Chiara. A wonderful culinary experience paired with excellent wines. For anyone passing through, a stop at Nello is highly recommended.

28/12/2025: This is my second time at Nello's, and it's consistently excellent. The attention to detail is impeccable. The appetizers are inventive and inventive, and each course is bursting with flavor. Excellent wine list. Extremely kind and friendly staff. The atmosphere is intimate and comfortable.

11/01/2026: Super friendly owner and great tasting burgers. Ordered the cheeseburger, b burger, pio burger, and pienza 491, and they all had their distinct flavors. Fries were crispy, and the bacon/mayo fries were even better! A must try place

07/01/2026: The burgers here are absolutely amazing! You can really taste the care and passion the owner puts into each one. It was so good we came back twice. If you’re a meat lover, the Doppio Penza Burger is a must-try! (Aka double double)
