Even in busy moments, the lady doesn't get impatient and serves everyone with a smile, courtesy, and professionalism. Again, not a romantic place, but a convenient one for a quick snack.

06/07/2025: The best rotisserie between Pachino, Marzamemi and Portopalo, everything is delicious, both the arancini and the sfogliate and also the stuffed pizza (votavota/caicca). They continuously churn out the entire rotisserie at any time of the day. Excellent value for money, top-quality products that you can taste and smell, cooked perfectly, with every bite you savour the true flavours of Sicily, at least the southern part which includes Pachino, Noto, Portopalo and Rosolini.

14/06/2026: We're locals and often stop by, even just for a coffee. The desserts are delicious, and the various granitas are superb. The cakes are a delight, my favorite is the lemon cake: incredibly fresh and incredibly delicious. The courtesy, kindness, and cleanliness are always in abundance. Go there, you won't regret it, and you'll definitely be back. Highly recommended 👍

08/06/2026: We were just passing through and stopped for a coffee, and we stumbled upon a delightful place. Coffee, cakes, ice cream—everything was exquisite and very reasonably priced. A beautiful place!

15/03/2026: Fishmonger's restaurant: we stopped here for the first time on instinct. The owners were delightful, there was a tank with all kinds of shellfish (including American clams). The place was clean, the staff friendly, and everything from the appetizer to the first and second courses was truly delicious, leaving a scent of the sea. For anyone passing through, I recommend stopping by. We'll be back because we had a truly wonderful lunch.

07/12/2025: We had lunch at the Cozza d’Oro on our visit to Sicily. This is our second trip and again this seafood restaurant gem!! The location atmosphere and food was a 10!! Maurizio Bruno and chef and staple of the Cozza d’Oro Cettina were wonderful! We had a variety of fresh seafood also fried and some delicious pasta and seafood dishes ! Highly recommend La Cozza d’Oro of Augusta Sicily .

12/06/2026: Good hotel, fairly large rooms, daily room cleaning including changing towels, tidying up the room and adding soaps. Reasonable breakfast at the level of Italians, which is probably not at the level of other countries. Good pool, lawns and very helpful and nice people.

03/06/2026: Although it is inconvenient to drag a suitcase along the gravel path after getting off the bus, the garden is beautiful. The room is spacious and clean. For dinner, I enjoyed a delicious meal of basil pesto fusilli pasta and veal steak at a lovely restaurant.

The Pizzolo was simply exquisite: incredibly tasty, rich, and truly filling. The place is welcoming, and the service is good and attentive. The quality-price ratio is top-notch. During summer vacations, it's almost natural to search for the best restaurants to sample typical local dishes. After trying several places in Noto, Ortigia, Marzamemi, and other towns, I never imagined that my absolute favorite would be La Capannina. It's a family-run trattoria, passed down from generation to generation, where passion and dedication are passed down with it. Every dish we tasted was simply exceptional: authentic flavors, quality ingredients, and a cuisine that truly captivates. Even the pizza is amazing, so much so that it can compete with those of the best Neapolitan pizza makers. And then the cannoli... without a doubt the best I've ever had in Sicily: light, delicate, delicious, or perhaps indescribable, you have to try it!! A place worth the trip. I would return to Sicily just to eat at this extraordinary trattoria again.

02/06/2026: The four of us foodies visited the restaurant because a local had recommended it as a hidden gem… promising authentic Sicilian cuisine… we found the place packed with Americans who were clearly enjoying themselves… we got the distinct impression that the chef had apparently eaten a clown for breakfast… the names of the dishes and their combinations can only be described as bizarre… the hot dishes arrived cold and everything we ordered was completely tasteless… to top it all off, the whole thing was decorated with various pastes in neon colors… at night, the food presented a few additional challenges… far too expensive for what was offered… one star for the food is actually too generous…

01/04/2026: Excellent pizzeria located just outside Francofonte, immediately captivating with its charming location. The staff is friendly and always available. Tempted by the ordering staff's suggestions, I chose one of their current favorites: the Mediterranean pizza. A unique pizza with blue dough and seafood, a fitting tribute to the azure sea of ​​our beloved island. Needless to say, it was a masterpiece for both the eyes and the palate: an authentic taste of Sicily. Highly recommended for those looking for quality at great prices.
