We ordered pasta with pesto of parsley and fish (it had only one anchovy from the can) than the pacheri with sword fish wasn’t really tasty….overall it didn’t have the Sicily atmosphere that we craved for

11/05/2025: Il posto e’ molto bello e raffinato, i menu’ sono stati spettacolari con portate a base di carciofi e primi e secondi molto particolari. Nonostante io non sia un gran forchetta ho adorato tutti i piatti! Ricette mah banali e anche il menù della degustazione dei vini ottima! Camerieri cortesi, professionali e con grande capacità di presentare le varie portate. Un posto scelto per caso ma che mi ha colpito tantissimo! Spero di tornarci presto. Assolutamente consigliato

10/07/2025: Siamo tornati a Portopalo dopo qualche anno e non potevamo non fare tappa alla Macelleria Cutelli. Che dire? È stata una splendida conferma sotto tutti i punti di vista! Il cibo è semplicemente ottimo: la qualità della carne è eccezionale e si percepisce tutta la passione e la cura nella selezione dei prodotti. Ogni boccone è un vero piacere per il palato. Inoltre, il personale è super cordiale, sempre disponibile a dare consigli e a farti sentire a casa. L'accoglienza calorosa rende l'esperienza ancora più piacevole. 5 stelle solo perché, onestamente, di più non si può! Se siete a Portopalo, un passaggio alla Macelleria Cutelli è assolutamente d'obbligo. Non ve ne pentirete!

09/07/2025: Ogni volta che vado in vacanza a Portopalo, la Macelleria Cutelli è una tappa fissa! Carne di altissima qualità, cotta alla perfezione e sempre gustosa. Il personale è attento e accogliente, ti fanno sentire come a casa fin dal primo momento. Consigliatissima!

28/06/2025: This was the definite food highlight of our 10-day stay in Sicily. It is important to note that you have to make a reservation, which is easily done via WhatsApp (details on their Facebook page). As a result, the only people in the restaurant were my husband and myself, and Guiseppe, the chef/owner. He cooked and served everything himself, explaining the dishes and the stories behind the ingredients and recipes (in English). He served us a sumptuous 6-course fish menu, demonstrating exceptional talent with an innovative flair. All of this, plus a bottle of local wine, for a total of €120, all in. Given the prices charged by some of the tourist traps in this area of Sicily, this is incredibly good value for what is essentially a Michelin star quality meal. I would wholeheartedly recommend anyone staying in the area to treat themselves to this incredibly special culinary experience.

23/06/2025: Delicious, well-prepared dishes and a thoughtful fish-focused menu. The host opened just for us and managed both service and kitchen with calm and care – a warm, personal experience we really appreciated.

20/08/2025: Perfectly cooked products BUT portions for a 5-year-old child. Very poor quantity/price ratio. Move on unless you like being taken for a carrier pigeon!

06/09/2025: While vacationing in the Pachino area, I was fortunate enough to enjoy a wine tasting at this splendid winery, run by wonderful, knowledgeable, and competent staff. With six glasses, they'll pamper you with their delicacies. Well done, keep up the good work. If you're in the area, it's a must-visit.

13/08/2025: Vini Sultana is a little corner of paradise in Pachino. We did a tasting with dinner in August 2025 and had a wonderful time. A wonderful family, the highly knowledgeable staff explained the characteristics of their excellent organic wines to us. The mother delighted us with her rich cuisine and excellent local products. A welcoming atmosphere and very good wines. We took some home to take home the memory of a wonderful evening. We'll be back.

23/07/2025: Cominciamo dicendo che al momento dell'ordinazione che 3 delle pietanze scelte sono terminate.... Per la precisione terminate tagliate, ribs di maiale e hamburger di pollo.... Ma non eravamo in una steakhouse??? Paradosso allo stato puro.... Cmq arriva ciò che avevamo ordinato...... O meglio qualcosa di simile.... Hamburger stracotti e stopposi, filetto che sono stata obbligata a mangiare vista la mancanza delle tagliate, ordinato cottura media arrivato stra stra cotto.... Una suola di scarpe.... Non per ultimo fatto notare alla cameriera che si scusa dicendo avranno sbagliato la cottura ma al momento del conto neppure un euro di sconto..... Beh diciamo che non è proprio il loro mestiere... Esperienza pessima....

19/07/2025: Great atmosphere, you can eat even late at night; the outdoor tables are great in the summer. The waiters are attentive and knowledgeable, kind, and not intrusive. The menu is accessed with a Qcode, so it's very convenient. Even though the place was almost completely full, we waited about 20-25 minutes for the burgers, which I'd say were excellent. At the nearby tables, where they also had extra fries, the wait was much shorter. My husband and I both had the "parmigiana" burger, one with chicken and one with beef, both excellent and tasty; the parmigiana was delicious! Craft beers from Germany. If I could make a comment, I'd recommend adding a few more fries to accompany the sandwich; I would have happily eaten a few more. Recommended!!

22/08/2025: If you want to enjoy authentic, affordable Italian cuisine, this simple yet delicious restaurant, far from any "tourist hotspots" with overpriced, mid-range food, is the perfect place. We ate here twice in one week for delicious meals. One time we had pizza, the other time pasta and mussels. Prices ranged from €3-10 per dish. The clientele was entirely Italian, the place was packed, and the service was very friendly. But most importantly: the food was delicious. The pizza from the pizza oven met all the criteria. The pasta was al dente and had a delicious sauce. The mussels were fresh and delicious. And everything was unbeatably cheap. So you can expect an authentic and down-to-earth Italian restaurant here. However, if you're looking for expensive, fine dining with a great sea view, this is the wrong place. We prefer the former and will definitely be back!

18/06/2025: Everything was excellent as far as food and wines go but the air was extremely hot and the lack of air conditioning made the experience more difficult.

24/08/2025: The spaghetti with crayfish and cherry tomatoes was delicious, one of the best we have eaten in Sicily. It is located in the square of an inland town, lots of locals. The only negative point is the toilets, they were not very good.
