07/03/2026: Fun place to enjoy a meal. The staff were on task and patient with my questions. Bryan was very good! I hope he is working next time we visit.

21/02/2026: An anachronistic experience and unbalanced value for money. I visited this well-known pizzeria with my family, but unfortunately, my expectations were largely disappointed. The initial impression was marked by a decidedly subdued welcome: the cashier—the owner—distinguished herself by a marked lack of empathy and warmth, an approach that clashes with the minimum standards of hospitality. Furthermore, the place appears frozen in an outdated aesthetic, conveying a sense of neglect rather than tradition. Regarding the food, the pizzas were adequate but lacking in excellence, with specific sore points: Shrimp Pizza: It tasted flat due to the lack of the necessary aromatic component (garlic and parsley). Pizza alla Norma: Definitely unbalanced; the eggplant was excessively dark in color, a clear sign of having been fried in used oil. Margherita with sausage: The mozzarella portions were insufficient, and the overall flavor was barely acceptable. The biggest disappointment concerns the treatment of guests: In a restaurant like this, one would expect at least some attention to the little ones, a courtesy that was completely lacking from the owners. The only bright spot of the evening was the professionalism of the waiter, a talkative and courteous figure who tried, wherever possible, to improve the service. Finally, the bill was disproportionate to the overall experience. One gets the feeling that every detail is being monetized without any real return in terms of quality or hospitality. Not recommended. Management needs a profound overhaul, both structurally and in terms of attitude. If the system allowed it, my rating would be zero stars, as the overall experience doesn't even reach the minimum passing grade.

12/06/2026: Good hotel, fairly large rooms, daily room cleaning including changing towels, tidying up the room and adding soaps. Reasonable breakfast at the level of Italians, which is probably not at the level of other countries. Good pool, lawns and very helpful and nice people.

03/06/2026: Although it is inconvenient to drag a suitcase along the gravel path after getting off the bus, the garden is beautiful. The room is spacious and clean. For dinner, I enjoyed a delicious meal of basil pesto fusilli pasta and veal steak at a lovely restaurant.

08/05/2026: Excellent trattoria for the price. The restaurant is clean and simple. The spaghetti with clams and macaroni alla norma are excellent, with generous portions. The staff is friendly, helpful, and welcoming.

12/07/2026: No vibe, very strange atmosphere and bland foodSitting inside this restaurant is a very weird experience. There is absolutely no vibe, and the atmosphere is very strange—it feels exactly like you are waiting in a busy bus terminal. We tried a few different dishes, including the mix di mare, but nothing was special. They charged us 3 eu for sitting .

09/07/2026: As usual, Prua is a great place to enjoy local fish.

15/08/2026: A very good family dinner, featuring cuisine based on regional products with original flavors. The appetizers were delicious (smoked beef carpaccio crostini, Etna cheese and Tropea onion cheesecake… orecchiette alla vongole with smoked provolone and cime di Râpe…). Impeccable service. A beautiful seaside location, nicely breezy on this summer evening.

14/08/2026: Dinner with local friends, a truly delicious restaurant! Excellent food! Super fresh oysters. The seafood dishes were literally sensational! Highly recommended.

07/08/2025: It's not the place you'd go for a romantic dinner, but it's worth it. Arancini, pizzas, vota vota, involtini, and more...all truly excellent and high-quality. Even in busy moments, the lady doesn't get impatient and serves everyone with a smile, courtesy, and professionalism. Again, not a romantic place, but a convenient one for a quick snack.

06/07/2025: The best rotisserie between Pachino, Marzamemi and Portopalo, everything is delicious, both the arancini and the sfogliate and also the stuffed pizza (votavota/caicca). They continuously churn out the entire rotisserie at any time of the day. Excellent value for money, top-quality products that you can taste and smell, cooked perfectly, with every bite you savour the true flavours of Sicily, at least the southern part which includes Pachino, Noto, Portopalo and Rosolini.

16/04/2026: Hotel Gutkowski is an incredibly charming and picturesque little hotel. We had a very beautiful and well-maintained bedroom that overlooked the sea on the side. The breakfast consists of various fresh organic products and can be enjoyed outside in good weather. It wasn't huge, but it was certainly good and tasty. We had a very pleasant stay; highly recommended!

15/04/2026: Magnificent room with a sea view. The view is truly breathtaking! The rooms are very clean and the bedding is comfortable. The breakfast is also very good. I highly recommend it!

03/06/2026: Mediocre. Unbalanced dishes. Poor service (just one poor waitress for all the tables who worked miracles).

26/05/2026: A Milanese chef who has found a new home in Ortigia, a cuisine with incredible ingredients that has found new ways to be enhanced in the hands and culture of the chef. Super-efficient service without losing any of the Sicilian warmth, an excellent wine cellar, and a series of attentions and pampering—starting with the bread—that are hard to forget.

12/08/2026: We went to this place after visiting Isola delle Correnti. It was a truly positive experience; they were kind and welcomed us to this family-run place. We had a peasant aperitivo between the two they offered, and they let us taste four of their seven wines, with a bonus. We really enjoyed the wines, especially the Sangio and the Apollonia. The accompanying dish was very rich and was explained in detail; everything was truly delicious. Highly recommended and incredibly authentic. They also told us lots of local trivia and recommended a good cremolada in Marzamemi (Cicero Cafe).

11/08/2026: Excellent welcome, excellent wines both in bulk and in bottles. Last but not least, excellent value for money.
