Excellent appetizer, pasta could be improved, but the setting has a wonderful view and the staff is courteous and hospitable.

The food was average; the service was pleasant: the guy was very helpful and even gave good recommendations; the view of the sea was spectacular. Since the food is very important to me, I'm happy to give it 3 stars.

My boyfriend had BBQ ribs, and I chose tagliatelle with a cheese sauce and pepper. The food was absolutely delicious 👌🏻 For drinks, we had an Aperol Spritz, which wasn’t on the menu, but the staff prepare it for us. There is a beautiful view of the sea and a nearby lighthouse from the restaurant. Overall, the experience was great, and the service was excellent as well. 😊🙏🏻

The pasta was delicious! 🍝 Unfortunately, only the Italians got the tables by the window with a view. It was very noisy. But the food was excellent!

21/03/2026: Sicily is famous not only for its stunning sea and dreamy landscapes, but also for its extraordinary cuisine. During summer vacations, it's almost natural to search for the best restaurants to sample typical local dishes. After trying several places in Noto, Ortigia, Marzamemi, and other towns, I never imagined that my absolute favorite would be La Capannina. It's a family-run trattoria, passed down from generation to generation, where passion and dedication are passed down with it. Every dish we tasted was simply exceptional: authentic flavors, quality ingredients, and a cuisine that truly captivates. Even the pizza is amazing, so much so that it can compete with those of the best Neapolitan pizza makers. And then the cannoli... without a doubt the best I've ever had in Sicily: light, delicate, delicious, or perhaps indescribable, you have to try it!! A place worth the trip. I would return to Sicily just to eat at this extraordinary trattoria again.
