We took 2 appetizers, cured bread and fried squid recommended by the very kind waiter, truly exceptional, the fish recommended for the second course was also excellent... what can I say, a truly welcoming place to which I would return. Price in line with consumption.

25/05/2025: Forse la migliore pizzoleria di Sortino .Ottimo pizzolo con varie scelte e con personale garbato e disponibile. Si trova poco prima di arrivare in paese con facilità di parcheggio ….if you are in Sortino don’t miss it!!!!

23/05/2025: What can I say, after years it continues to be a guarantee. It is difficult to find a place that makes first courses, second courses, pizzoli and more, managing to maintain high quality in every course. But they do it very well. Pizzolo always super good, but the rest is no joke either. Promoted and highly recommended to anyone.

03/05/2025: The choice is endless, when you enter you just want to taste all the specialties on display. An attraction worse than chocolate comes over you, everything is better than the other, then a flavor that makes you just feel good, you can't go out with just one thing, well done, keep going.

Salsiccia al forno rinsecchita e fredda, per farcela riscaldare abbiamo dovuto rifare la fila e dopo averla riscaldata il tipo del banco ha aspettato 10 minuti prima di darcela,quindi è tornata fredda. I calamari altrettanto rinsecchiti. Le bevande ci sono state date senza bicchieri. Ci siamo apparecchiati e sparecchiati da soli con relativo smaltimento nei bidoni della differenziata. Ma abbiamo pagato 2 euro di coperto. La ciliegina sulla torta il furbo maleducato di turno che dopo avere saltato la fila ha sussurrato la sua ordinazione all'orecchio del tipo al bancone apparentemente suo amico. Insomma, esperienza e posto da dimenticare. Fatevi un regalo, statene alla larga.

18/04/2025: It is a place that prepares very good takeaway food. Before two in the afternoon, almost everything had already disappeared. If you want you can eat there, but there is no table service. You buy it and take it to your table with your plastic cutlery. Very good melanzana lasagna.

28/05/2025: Directly on the beautiful beach, the rooms very clean, the beds very comfortable, an excellent food and everybody very kind.

18/05/2025: We were simply refused food. Despite the fact that there were a bunch of pizza boxes, they even refused to order pizza to go. It is unclear why there are so many good ratings. Perhaps this place is only for locals 🙄

15/05/2025: He estado en Sicilia por más de 2 semanas y he tenido una serie de grandes experiencias gastronómicas. Pero mi cena aquí fue la mejor hasta ahora! Está fuera de la ruta turística normal, por lo que ofrece un ambiente más relajado. El servicio y la comida eran fantásticos. Todo lo que teníamos era fresco y sabía muy bien, incluyendo la pasta y almejas y pescado di giorno. El propietario nos ayudó con la selección de vinos y fue un placer hablar con él. Recomiendo encarecidamente este restaurante.

25/04/2025: Siamo stati questa sera con una coppia di amici su consiglio del nostro agriturismo. Siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti dalla qualità del menu e delle proposte alternative in base al pescato del giorno. Ottimo servizio del personale di sala e del proprietario. Carta dei vini accurata con prezzi ragionevoli. Location carina in una zona fuori dalla bolgia. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Lo segnaliamo con piacere.

19/04/2025: We were recommended Macalle by our hotel concierge for a Thursday night dinner. The place was empty at 8p which should have been a sign to back out but we figured we’d give it a shot. The second red flag came when we saw the price tag however we assumed the quality of food and experience would match. Sorry to say we were utterly disappointed. The portions were most alarming. Ortigia was our last stop in our Sicily vacation so we’ve had dozens of wonderful Sicilian meals up to that point and much to compare it to. The dishes were so scant that we could not even offer to share a bite. Some dishes were overly salted while others bland and unimaginative. It was not the meal we wanted to end our trip on but hoping this review will spare others the underwhelming experience.
