20/10/2025: The food was fantastic with traditional fried rice balls and fried ricotta cheese. The owner Paolo was very friendly. We had a great time dining at his famous little restaurant. BTW, the restaurant will be closed next week (the end of October) because he is going to pick lemons in his farm.

15/10/2025: Apparently didn’t have the greatest experience being solo but the management had my prior review removed. So much for free speech and expression, guess that no longer exists!

25/09/2025: Excellent grill and butcher shop in Portopalo. Locally sourced meats. I highly recommend it.

At night, everything lights up, creating an enchanting atmosphere. The staff is welcoming and helpful. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, which is unusual in such areas. This is a definite plus.

27/11/2025: I'm in Floridia for a school competition, and my wife and I stopped at this café, inspired by the positive reviews, to which I'm happy to add my own. The croissants and treccina were truly excellent, in terms of fragrance, filling, and temperature. The latte and macchiato were also excellent, and well-served. The bartender was extremely kind and not at all intrusive. The place is spotless and bright. I recommend it to anyone passing through.

28/09/2025: I don't usually write reviews, but this place really deserves it. We stumbled upon this truly beautiful and meticulously maintained restaurant on the harbor by chance. We ate really well. As a lover of raw fish, I can honestly say it was truly delicious, and the chef's combinations are truly excellent... even the exquisite desserts. The staff is truly kind, attentive, and always ready to offer excellent service and advice... we had the pleasure of being served by Antonio in particular... in short, you feel truly pampered. Highly recommended!

Prices are absolutely reasonable (even with a substantial final discount) and coffee is included. They treated us to a wonderful evening!

21/12/2025: We had the opportunity to stop by the bar today with a group of friends, and when paying, we were charged for two additional items—one we noticed immediately and was removed with some suspicion, and another upon returning home, where it was already too late. On a positive note, the waitresses were kind and attentive!

09/12/2025: We had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful hotel in late July 2025. The grounds are very nice and the huge pool is quite pleasant during the hot Sicilian summer. Our host was absolutely amazing. She speaks both English and Italian and literally made us feel like we were cousins visiting from Canada. Every morning there is a complete breakfast which always includes scrambled eggs which is not common in Italy. Supper depends on how many guests are dinning in. However, there is an abundance of restaurants close by that are very good. The room was very clean and comfortable and quite spacious for a family of 4. If you are traveling mid summer, DO NOT expect A/C that cools your room do 18C / 64F. That just doesn't exist in Italy. The hotel is a little off the beaten path so traveling with a rental car is preferable. However, everything is close by car and there is always parking to be found. Sicilian Taxis and Ubers will ALWAYS try to scam you in some way or another. Syracusa and Ortigia are very close by car and offer everything you might require. Would for sure stay there again given the opertunity.

29/08/2025: Excellent hotel. The location is ideal, close to the train station, the historic center of Peschiera, and bus stops. The rooms are comfortable and equipped with everything you need. The hotel has a lovely garden, where you can also enjoy breakfast. The breakfast buffet is generous, with a wide selection of sweet and savory options. The area is quiet. Highly recommended.
