08/09/2025: We waited over two hours after ordering, and in the end, we left without eating: a busy Saturday night doesn't justify such a long wait (and instead of an apology, they charged us for water and table charges!). The place is nice, though.

28/08/2025: An experience to forget. We had dinner last night, the pizza was excellent, I should point out. It's a shame we were literally invaded by ash coming from the chimney. We couldn't even eat or drink; our water glass kept filling up with ash. Not to mention the pizza. And our clothes were literally stained. We reported the matter to the wait staff several times, but they stalled. And none of the managers deigned to come to our table and offer any explanations or anything else. The place should be closed until this issue is resolved.

29/08/2025: Excellent hotel. The location is ideal, close to the train station, the historic center of Peschiera, and bus stops. The rooms are comfortable and equipped with everything you need. The hotel has a lovely garden, where you can also enjoy breakfast. The breakfast buffet is generous, with a wide selection of sweet and savory options. The area is quiet. Highly recommended.

27/06/2025: Really nice hotel just a few blocks from Ortigia. The service is very welcoming and there for anything you might need. The room was large and had everything you could need. Just one note on noise, if your room is on the first floor (2nd in the US), you may hear breakfast/dinner service. Not ideal but nothing I could do about that! The only stress we had was trying to find parking in the morning to load the luggage when we were leaving, but that is just the dynamic of the area and still far easier than somewhere within Ortigia itself.

There's no menu, so you rely on recommendations without looking at prices... A bit of couscous, lasagna, and omelet that looks like they've got leftovers from another table, pointless... We've been here for days, and it's the most expensive food in relation to the quality... Not to mention the stray cats that vomited on us while we were eating... So, I don't recommend it at all... If you don't know Sicilian, stay away!!!

24/08/2025: I have to be honest, the pizzoli were excellent, and so was the pizza, although the quality has unfortunately declined recently. However, I have to give it two stars because of the long wait times: we booked for 10:00 PM, and finally ate at 11:47 PM. Otherwise, everything was fine.

24/08/2025: Definitely not a good evening!!!! I go to this place often, and honestly, last night the pizzolo was too dry, I ordered the wrong one, and... I was almost forced to accept the lemon cream that was sold out for the sweet pizzolo!!!! I understand the end-of-season tiredness, but 😘😘😘😘 despite everything, I recommend it.

29/06/2025: This is a small location in the middle of nature! Everything is very well cared for in the smallest details! The structure is family-run and I have been frequenting it for many years; since 2025 the Datterino restaurant is no longer active but you can still eat excellent dishes cooked by Mrs. Ilaria. Coming here is like coming home and if you expect a mass place then it is not the ideal place but if you expect a lot of kindness, love in doing things and a lot of tranquility then you are in the right place.

You can immediately perceive the love they put into making each person feel at ease and pampered. And speaking of passion... I absolutely have to mention Ilaria's incredible talent in the kitchen. Her skill is something exceptional! On the last night, she delighted us with a freshly caught snapper that made me forget about all the pre-packaged tourist menus that, unfortunately, have become the norm. It was a dish that contained the authentic flavor of the sea and the enthusiasm of those who love to cook with their heart.
