14/07/2026: "Caught cleverly" by Mr. Gaetano, we hesitantly enter the restaurant. The place is well-maintained, without any stylistic flaws. The welcoming greetings, accompanied by spontaneous smiles, and the typical Sicilian menu convince us to take a seat. Warm bread bites with oil and vinegar (on the house), mixed fried fish, egg fusilli alla norma, caponata, pasta with tomato sauce and French fries: all delicious, no complaints. We didn't have room for dessert, but the sweet couscous piqued our interest, so we must return. A digestif is offered. Prices are reasonable. A pleasant final chat with the lovely Mrs. Carola is a pleasure. Those lucky enough to linger beyond the main course can try it for themselves.

13/07/2026: We've been in Sicily for a few weeks. We are a large group of 14 people, kids and adults. I must say, this is by far the best restaurant we've been too. There was something for everyone. The Massara pizza and Salmon were my personal favourites. The owner was extremely personable and made sure it visit was spectacular. The ambiance was amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant

09/07/2026: It didn't meet my expectations. The place is very nice, but I didn't find the food exceptional, and the prices tend to be high. I think there are places in the area that, while more rustic in style, offer tastier pizzas and fried foods.

29/05/2026: We had dinner this evening at La Trota, and overall, the experience was excellent. Starting with the food, both my girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed the tagliolini and carbonara. We also had the opportunity to try three appetizers (bruschetta with dried and grated trout, trout carpaccio, and hot-smoked trout with mayonnaise). The appetizers were excellent. The gin and juniper-marinated carpaccio is highly recommended. We finished with trout in Saor, which was slightly too salty (personal opinion), but the combination of trout, onion, raisins, and pine nuts really impressed me. The dessert was also good, as was the carob and persimmon combination. The location is charming; you eat in a cave. A special thanks to Corrado for his kindness and exceptional attention to service, and, of course, for the appetizer samples. Unfortunately, we live quite far away, but we'll try to return. Considering the quality of the ingredients and the sophisticated pairings, the price for dinner was very fair.

10/07/2026: The arancini were very good. The bruschetta was delicious. The Neapolitan pizza was okay. The staff forgot to serve one dish (for 8 people), but after asking for it, they quickly brought it. Staff spoke English, which is not common on this island.

11/05/2026: Rooms are super clean, and was reading a negative experience of someone expecting breakfast at 6 am when clearly they say breakfast is between 8 and 10 am. Those who are not able to enjoy this wonderful hospitality, clearly do not understand they are in a real biological farm where you can literally eat fresh fruits from their trees for breakfast. I have traveled around the world and I pinned this place because I dream to come back here again.

16/07/2026: Overall, the beach left a very good impression. It's a truly beautiful place with clean, clear water, a pleasant place to spend time. The grounds are well-maintained, the sea is magnificent, and the atmosphere is conducive to a relaxing holiday. If we were to evaluate the beach itself alone, it deserves the highest rating. However, there are a few things that slightly spoil the impression. Firstly, parking is paid and costs €5. Secondly, you also have to pay €3.50 per person to enter the beach. The most inconvenient thing is the distance from the parking lot to the beach itself. It's at least a 20-minute walk, and if it's extremely hot outside or you're vacationing with small children and carrying luggage, the walk can take up to 30 minutes. After such a long walk, your vacation begins with a slight feeling of fatigue. Despite these shortcomings, the place is truly worth a visit. The beautiful sea, clear water, and pleasant atmosphere compensate for most of the drawbacks. If you don't mind the extra expense and the relatively long walk to the beach, you'll likely enjoy your stay. For me it's a solid 4 out of 5.

15/07/2026: I entered through the main entrance (the one near the tuna factory). I walked under the sun for several hundred meters to reach a beach full of seaweed, marshes, and quicksand; there was also an unpleasant odor. It wasn't even possible to visit the tuna factory or the Swabian tower. What's more, I saw a black snake along the path, not to mention flamingos. I left without even taking a dip. A terrible experience. I won't be returning. I absolutely don't recommend it.

26/05/2026: Excellent value for money. The manager brought us a variety of appetizers, including warm ricotta, cured meats, cheeses, and fried and tomato-based meatballs.

12/05/2026: Magical. Nestled in the heart of the Vendicari Nature Reserve, this is a truly unique and enchanting place with clean and comfortable rooms. And a lovely terrace! The welcome was absolutely delightful. Breakfast was plentiful, and we thoroughly enjoyed the exquisite Sicilian meals in the evenings. A must-do! Plus, it's located right next to the reserve for an incredible visit where we saw flamingos.

12/05/2026: Farm Pantanelli is a dream for anyone who loves aesthetics and relaxation. We stayed two nights looking for our wedding location and were blown away by the incredible sundeck and the sheer number of 'Instagrammable' spots across the property. It is a beautiful, well-maintained area that captures the spirit of Sicily perfectly. Sadly, we couldn't proceed with our wedding here as we needed 80 guest on-site, but for a smaller group or a boutique getaway, this place is flawless.
