07/12/2025: PortoMatto in Avola was a delightful discovery. I ordered a first course, a truly delicious risotto: well-creamed, flavorful, but never heavy. The restaurant is elegant, with attention to detail, and the background music is not too loud and very pleasant, allowing for a peaceful conversation. Special praise goes to the table service: professional, attentive, but never intrusive. I'd especially like to highlight the kindness and empathy of the waiter, Giovanni, who really worked hard to find a solution for my wife's particularly restricted diet, trying to accommodate her in every way possible. In the end, she didn't order anything, but his face showed genuine disappointment, a sign of genuine care for the customer. Overall, a very positive experience: highly recommended.

25/07/2026: The staff was attentive, friendly, and always ready to accommodate any request. We ate truly deliciously; we ordered pizzas and Pizzoli, and they were truly delicious! I highly recommend this pizzeria/restaurant.

I absolutely recommend stopping here to all tourists visiting Avola: it's definitely worth it! The chef is fantastic, extremely good at his job, and, above all, a truly kind and special person. I can only recommend it to everyone! If you're looking for a place to eat well and feel welcomed, come here! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

25/09/2025: Every day we get bored with fish! So we opted for meat... Surprise! Delicious meat, very well cooked, the well-seasoned potato wedges were super good, fast service. The outdoor setting on the square is nice, I'd say.

14/12/2025: Our usual motorcycle ride with friends and lunch at Agriturismo Monte Criscione, a charming property surrounded by greenery and citrus groves. Even though they had warned us there was no room, they were very accommodating and managed to accommodate us. Alessandro gave us a warm welcome, the rustic appetizers were plentiful and delicious, the first course excellent, and the second course very satisfying. The restaurant was clean, well-kept, and had a genuine atmosphere. The owner also shared an interesting and touching story of the restaurant. Approved

12/07/2026: No vibe, very strange atmosphere and bland foodSitting inside this restaurant is a very weird experience. There is absolutely no vibe, and the atmosphere is very strange—it feels exactly like you are waiting in a busy bus terminal. We tried a few different dishes, including the mix di mare, but nothing was special. They charged us 3 eu for sitting .

06/07/2026: Updated 2026. This was once a great steakhouse who now decided to have a more simple menu with burgers and pizzas. I think service and quality are fair but nothing compared to the past. I was a bit disappointed when I ordered the larger fried starter (u culapasta) which included nuggets, crocchette etc and end up with 1 or max 2 of each in a sea of standard chips... They are small things but they annoy me a lot as I don't mind to pay but get something that can really be shared with a table. We ended up splitting a nugget in 4 😂 That said it's a good place for a quick bite. It's clean and burgers and pizza are good.

02/06/2026: We went to this place for the first time. The pizza was really good, and the service was friendly and excellent. The place has a large indoor and outdoor dining area. Be careful with the "spicy" part 😂, it's really spicy. I highly recommend it.
