14/08/2025: Everything was delicious! From the side dishes to the first and second courses, The lasagna and baked pasta are especially worth trying! The spit-roasted chicken was also delicious! The owners, Maurizio and Maria, were also very kind. I'll be back every time I'm on vacation!

08/09/2025: I stayed with my family at the Nuovo Borgo B&B. The staff were friendly, the rooms were impeccably clean, and we'll definitely be back.

15/10/2025: Small place (max 45 people), but that's okay. Scaletta Zanclea is a small town on the Messina/Catania coast, run by a husband and wife team. Egidia works as a waitress, and Mario is the excellent pizza chef. The pizzas are varied, the dough is very good and easy to digest, and the price is reasonable. If you're passing through Scaletta Zanclea, take advantage of it. It's definitely worth the effort. 😉

29/04/2025: Nous avons mangé chez Nni Lausta le lundi de Pâques et choisi le menu (45 e) : une mise en bouche déjà intéressante avec de l'espadon fumé et puis la déclinaison italienne classique : antipasti, pasta (raviolis au basilic, une tuerie), brochette de poisson, dessert. Sans entrer dans le détail : le raffinement des saveurs et des associations, toujours ancré dans la cuisine et les produits locaux font d'une visite chez Nni Lausta une expérience qu'on oublie pas et qu'on souhaite renouveler. La gentillesse de l'accueil, la qualité des attentions ne font que renforcer l'envie d'y retourner. Et pour couronner, les vins de l'azienda Caravaglio qui sont proposés à prix d'ami sont des pépites à découvrir pour tous les amateurs des vins des île siciliennes. Merci au chef, merci à Rosanna et Fabio et à leur équipe pour la cena du lundi de Pâques et pour la pranza de ce lundi 28 avril.

16/09/2025: For the feast of the Madonna of Tindari, a friend recommended me to try some gelato at this ice cream shop, and I must say, it was excellent. The place is small, but these guys are masters when it comes to gelato, with a wide variety of flavors, both gelato and granita. I even checked out the restroom, which was clean. The staff was incredibly friendly. Now, every year when I go to Tindari, I absolutely have to stop by. My compliments to the owners.

07/09/2025: Oh my, what a wonderful meal I had the pleasure of enjoying. Let's start with the friendly waiter, with his typical Sicilian appearance and physiognomy. Then I ordered 2 Norma and a pasta with tomato sauce for my two children. The photo shows the splendid and delicious Pasta alla Norma. PLENTY TO SAY THE LEAST. EXCELLENT. THEN I MOVED ON TO A BEAUTIFUL AND DELICIOUS SWORDFISH SKEWER. EXCEPTIONAL. I ALSO HAD MY CHILDREN FOOD AN EXCELLENT VEAL SKEWER. TENDER AND FLAVORFUL. 62 PIECES IN ALL, INCLUDING WATER AND COVER CHARGE. COMPLIMENTS.

30/09/2025: one of the most interesting restaurants in the area, a new location for them with a beautiful relaxing outdoor space. chef Giacomo Caravello offers excellent traditional dishes with a touch of magic, the sea urchin crostini and the grilled octopus are very good. 15/09/2025: I came alone during one of my business trips. Besides the top-notch service—friendly and precise—the food is out of this world. The Albacore steak and Albacore sashimi with sea urchin on top were sensational. Five stars is too few, and the prices are more than fair. A restaurant like this in Rome would cost three times as much.

27/07/2025: L'Uliveto farm is a haven of peace and serenity. Owners Giacomo and Cherubina welcomed us warmly and made us feel right at home. The surrounding views are relaxing, and the large pool is a real plus on these hot summer days. The food is wonderful! They cook from their own harvest, and their love for the ingredients and the local area shines through in every simple yet delicious dish. The homey atmosphere envelops and relaxes you. In this oasis, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, you can recharge... a little at home without being at home!

Abruzzo pasta, fish (Fridays or to order), meat (braised or grilled), excellent wines (let them recommend you one) – slow food in the restaurant, regional products, meat from free-range animals. Abruzzo classics on a concise menu – ask for daily specials. A beautiful garden with a fantastic pool. Suitable for large family celebrations, the business specializes in this. Attached to a small 3-star hotel, you can stay overnight with breakfast, and in the summer, you can enjoy outside with a stunning view of the Adriatic. It's recommended to follow them on Facebook or Instagram, as there are special offers, menus, and festivals for numerous events that are worth attending. The Ferrettis are an institution in Silvi. Closed Mondays to Wednesdays in winter. 2024: The concept has changed: The restaurant is only open when the Ferrettis are hosting large parties. You can find out about them via social media. 2025: I'm always looking to see what's changing at this business. I've now booked a cooking class with five friends to learn how to make the pasta alla Mugnaia, which originated in this region. Our grandmother, Gabriella, taught us, with the help of the head chef and another cook. We prepared the pasta and the sauce. It was an unforgettable experience, especially since we ate the fruits of our labors at the end with everyone involved, including some family members. A great thing for vacationers in the area.

The fish was fresh and the portions were generous, so much so that we stopped for the second course. Definitely worth a try. The staff was also always helpful and attentive to our needs. 29/09/2025: This place is perfect if you want a pizza. It's unbeatably good and the atmosphere is fantastic. One star deducted for the other dishes (I had a salad, while other reviews said it was the pasta) and the beer quantities (0.33 is served in 0.25-liter glasses and 0.66 in 0.5-liter glasses).
