12/11/2024: Whilst a very similar menu to all the other restaurants nearby we quite liked this place. Its hard to find quality restaurants in Giardina Naxos as most places have more of a a cafe like feel. I had a veal chop and partner fillet steak with porcini sauce. Whilst perfectly acceptable and tasty it did lack a little bit of finesse , guess I'm used to quality city restaurants, its nice to eat more rustically now and again and this fits the bill perfectly !

18/09/2024: Sehr gut besuchtes Lokal in italienisch/sizilianischen Stil. Freundlicher Service, und sehr gutes Essen. Die Portionen sind absolut ok. Die Involtini di melanzane (Auberginen-Röllchen) sind ein Kracher. Für den roten Hauswein gibts von mir leichten Abzug, aber das ist mein subjektiver Eindruck. Die Bestuhlung ist eng, entsprechend hoch ist der Lärmpegel, aber hey… wir sind hier im tiefen Süden. Alles in allen war wir sehr zufrieden

09/12/2024: Se amate la carne, questo ristorante è una tappa obbligata. Tagli di altissima qualità, cottura perfetta e un’ottima selezione di vini. L’atmosfera è calda e accogliente, il personale gentile e preparato. I prezzi sono adeguati alla qualità, ideale per una cena speciale. Consigliatissimo!

23/02/2025: Good pizza. It is unacceptable that the boy who seasoned all the pizzas WITH BARE HANDS goes around the whole restaurant (he brought the pizzas to the table himself) touching anything and wiping his hands on his own trousers. The criticism was not well received.

08/03/2025: Absolutely positive experience today for lunch. Few seats, relaxing environment and local and quality raw materials. The chef was very kind and helpful, and showed great passion for his cuisine. Definitely worth trying again.

For those who want to try dishes with delicious flavors, you can only choose this place! I was speechless by the perfection of the dishes and the kindness of the chef, incredible!

24/12/2024: Very kind staff. Food was pretty good. Antipasto siciliano with dry tomatoes, some cheese, salami, and olives really good. Cannelloni, I was hoping for handmade pasta, but that was not the case, but result was good. And pasta with pistachio cream and shrimps, superb.

05/04/2025: Un’esperienza fantastica all’Hosteria “Don Ciccio”! I piatti preparati dalla chef e proprietaria Mirella sono stati semplicemente superlativi: semplici ma ricchi di gusto e curati nei dettagli. Ogni portata raccontava una storia di passione e tradizione. Mirella, oltre ad essere una cuoca eccezionale, si è dimostrata estremamente gentile, accogliente e professionale, facendo sentire me e i miei ospiti come a casa. La location intima e caratteristica, con vista sul castello e sul porto di Milazzo ci ha colpito positivamente.. Un luogo dove la bontà gastronomica si unisce alla tradizione. Complimenti davvero, spero di tornare presto!

11/03/2025: Filetto di manzo - consisted of 70% tendons. Not edible! The salad with oranges and shrimps needed additional seasoning. The grilled vegetables were hard and cold. Not recommended. The service was very friendly and offered us an alternative to the wasted fillet. But our trust in the kitchen was shattered. Left the restaurant frustrated

22/03/2025: The waiter or owner was rude beyond belief. We ate a big breakfast that morning and just arrived in Naples. We were not that hungry and just eager to try out what Naples has to offer. I ordered a seafood spaghetti. The guy said each person must order a dish with a stern face. So I ordered another pizza and one water to share. Again, the guy said each person must order a drink. Another drink was ordered but he was visibly upset after the order. My guess is that he was thinking "unbelievably cheap tourists". I found that at the next table there were 5 Italians dining. They all ordered inexpensive pizzas and shared one water. We came from Northern Italy and had a very good experience with Italy. The south seems to be different in a negative way. This is really an experience of my life in a bad way.
