Undercooked, they tasted like plastic in the mouth. The photos on social media had encouraged us to try the place, but we definitely won't be returning.

The place combines rustic and elegant corners, with pleasant background music allowing you to chat and listen. The appetizers were excellent, very good: two Sicilian dishes and a caponata. Both the cured meats and cheeses were excellent, and the hot dishes were also very pleasant. Special mention goes to the caponata, a masterpiece of balance, flavor, and sweet and sour notes. A 10, a must, completely different from its Palermo cousin. The Messina-style roulade is exactly what you'd expect: soft, tender, flavorful, yet delicate, a real treat; it pairs excellently with a simple, fresh, and crunchy salad with lemon, which cuts through the breading nicely.
