18/01/2026: We stumbled upon this place by chance on the way up to Taormina. It's very cute, well-maintained, and the staff is welcoming and kind. As for the food, I have to say it's excellent. I should point out that I'm a vegetarian, and finding creative alternatives in Italian restaurants is difficult. But here, I was pleasantly surprised. I had a cauliflower meatball appetizer and a porcini mushroom panzerotti with parmesan cream. Both were plentiful and very good. The price is standard for Taormina, so it's fair to say.
20/11/2025: A perfect restaurant, just a six-minute walk from the center.
You get great value for your money, high quality, and attentive service.
Highly recommended!

27/03/2026: I’m giving 1 star only because you should respect potential guests and clearly indicate your opening hours. Walking halfway across the city only to find the door closed at a bar rated 4.9 is not a great experience.

09/01/2026: Since we were on vacation, we were looking for a lunch featuring authentic local food, and we couldn't have found a better one! Gabriella and Giulia run the restaurant impeccably, making guests feel right at home. The food is delicious, with generous portions and more than fair prices. There's a beautiful open view of the village opposite.
They also have honey and jams for purchase. Parking is available.

02/10/2025: We grabbed two sandwiches at Stuzzikosa in the morning before our boat ride to Lipari. It is conveniently located about 3 blocks from the ferry dock. The two people that helped us were extremely friendly and were patient with our "broken" Italian and spoke to us in English. The sandwiches had very good meat, cheese, and fresh components. The cost was super reasonable (4.50 Euro each) and the sandwich was more than filling. I ordered the Pizzicoso and was very happy with my choice. I am definitely considering stopping at Stuzzikosa on the return trip from Lipari. This has been the best sandwich I have had in my two weeks in Italy!

The staff is always very helpful, professional, and friendly. Kudos to all the staff, and especially to Mr. Nino, whose warmth and kindness make us feel welcome every time we visit.
I absolutely recommend it.

18/10/2025: Isola dei Sapori is a lovely family-run restaurant managed by Luana and Gaetano. They serve the freshest seafood straight from the sea, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor—a true symphony for the palate. The service is excellent, and Luana is exceptionally friendly and attentive, even entertaining our children with great creativity. As a grand finale, we enjoyed the homemade lava cake prepared by their daughter—a perfect ending to a wonderful meal and journey of flavours!

From the side dishes to the first and second courses,
The lasagna and baked pasta are especially worth trying! The spit-roasted chicken was also delicious!
The owners, Maurizio and Maria, were also very kind.
I'll be back every time I'm on vacation!

I'm deducting one star for the other dishes (I had a salad, and other reviews mentioned the pasta) and the beer servings (0.33 liters are served in 0.25-liter glasses, and 0.66 liters in 0.5-liter glasses).
