We would have liked to order main courses but were quite satisfied with the platter (we shared it between two).

My wife, who has Sicilian family members said this tasted just like a home cooked meal! You can see the cooks in the back making everything fresh. The service is great and they make you feel like you’re eating at someone’s home. Definitely a must if you’re visiting the area!

11/11/2025: Despite the staff's kindness, we found the sandwiches not to our liking. The fries are seasoned with spices that make them, for my taste, unpleasant. Undercooked, they tasted like plastic in the mouth. The photos on social media had encouraged us to try the place, but we definitely won't be returning.

Special praise also goes to the service: the staff was extremely polite, kind, and attentive. If you're looking for excellent cuisine and impeccable service in Milazzo, La Puttega is the right choice. Highly recommended!

12/11/2025: We dined at this restaurant for the feast of San Martino. The experience was positive, thanks to the welcoming atmosphere of a clean farm and the quality of the food. The appetizers of cured meats, cheeses, and vegetables were fresh, delicious, and varied. The highlight was the macaroni with pork sauce (traditional and the nettle one, a house specialty): al dente pasta, flavorful sauce, and tender meat, a medium portion. The staff was extremely courteous and welcoming. The farmhouse-style atmosphere is warm and refined. The price was a bit higher than expected; for the appetizer, macaroni with pork sauce, local wine, and homemade liqueur, with a small homemade tart dessert, we spent €30 per person. Overall, an experience recommended for those seeking good traditional cuisine, attentive service, and a beautiful rural setting.

10/11/2025: Teatro 44 is as surprising as the origin of its name, which owner and chef Salvatore Denaro explains with a smile. High-quality cuisine brings great character and innovation to the dishes, especially the gnocchi with bisque and licorice, which is amazing. We really enjoyed our stay. The restaurant exudes creativity, which I also found in the dishes. The wine list is superb. We'll be back soon.

23/10/2025: Went here as we were tired of the standard italian fare in Taormina. The place did offer some interesting variation on italian food. We sat inside their beautifully laid out dining room. The decor was modern with comfortable ergonomics. Good enough for us to spend more than two hours at the place. We ordered four of their appetizers and two mains with drinks and desserts. Everything was presented well and was delicious. The restaurant felt like a family run restaurant with very good service. Would recommend them for a nice comfortable dinner.
