The food was good. Excellent service. Friendly waiters. It was my birthday and they put candles on the table. Nice place, shame about only one bathroom.

This restaurant in the center of Grado is open during a Sunday stroll and we decided to stop in. It was 2 pm, but the staff was incredibly kind and seated us on the heated outdoor terrace. Excellent lunch with a selection of ingredients and fresh fish. Delicious appetizers to share, excellent spaghetti with clams, and dry fried fish. I'll definitely be back!

A very good restaurant – open even in January. The menu is small, but sufficient. Very good and quick service. I'll remember it and recommend it.

Absolutely essential if you're in Grado. The quality of the food is excellent. We ordered mussels and two seafood pasta dishes. We loved it.

Excellent restaurant for delicious seafood... I recommend the spaghetti with clams, fried calamari, and gnocchi with shrimp ragù. We'll definitely be back!!!

We stopped by chance with our friends and, seeing the positive reviews, stopped for lunch. The scallops and cuttlefish broth were exceptional, and the fried calamari was equally good. The service was also excellent. The price was reasonable for the area.

La Grotta Azzurra

02/05/2026: After several days in Taormina, we ate at four restaurants, and this was by far the best I've had, along with Mama Rosa's restaurant. We had a fantastic evening! The pistachio and guanciale pasta was exceptional! Don't bother going to Don Nino's tavern a little further down; it's not quite as good as here at La Grotta Azzura. Thank you so much to the whole team at La Grotta Azzura!!
02/05/2026: The waiter was super friendly, the food was exceptional, and they've changed the restaurant's decor, which is much more elegant! Don't bother queuing for another restaurant further away, because this one is better :)
