05/10/2025: Wowowowowowow 😍 we found the place spontaneously and it was the perfect surprise, its gluten free friendly and the sandwiches were delicious and full of flavour 🩷 i highly recommend !! Especially the burger with buratta and the one with salmon ***But i have to say it was expensive maybe overpriced even, we ordered 2 sandwiches and two cokes and it was around 36€

25/09/2025: Il Castello is a wonderful place. The food was very good as well as the service. Even with the language barrier we had a great time. The location and view were amazing. The nighttime view of Novara was spectacular. We went a second time and were not disappointed. It is a trek walking up to the restaurant from town but it is worth it. Nice amount on the menu and good wines too.

20/09/2025: Must try at least once in your life!! We discovered this restaurant because we chose to experience the quad excursion, which we've already tried in other locations, but it's unmatched. The experience far exceeded all our expectations, starting with the welcome, helpfulness, and kindness of the owner and all the staff. The guide was fantastic, enriching the entire tour with explanations of local attractions and strategic photo stops. The aperitif at the end of the tour was truly a treat. Congratulations for everything⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

18/10/2025: Really good restaurant with nice service, great food. Lovely location - you'll easily find a quiet spot/ romantic as well as living and vibrant table. Restaurant is pets friendly which is nice to see. The way people treat animals shows you their true character. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in Stromboli 👌

17/10/2025: Everything was good. The pizza, the beer, the service and the place itself. We didn't have to wait too long either. We enjoyed this restaurant and would come back if only our stay on this amazing island was a little longer. Highly recommended little gem.

06/10/2025: We had a great outdoor spot. The food was very good and the portions were generous. Service was excellent, and we felt completely at home. A top address in Messina! You can also eat early (by Italian standards) (from 11:30 a.m.).

05/10/2025: An excellent restaurant adjacent to Messina Cathedral. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available. The restaurant is air-conditioned. Reservations are recommended, especially in the summer when the city is crowded with tourists and cruise passengers. The dishes offered (both meat and fish) are delicious. The only drawback is that the ingredients on the menu are listed exclusively in English. The prices are reasonable.

02/10/2025: This is a wonderful trattoria started in 1972 and has remained in the family since. As others have mentioned it is justly famous for its made in house maccheroni, and I would add that the assortment of antipasti are incredible. Well worth a visit - the views are also spectacular.

16/09/2025: A trattoria with a beautiful view of the valley surrounding Rometta. The menu features a few traditional dishes, made with quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. Unfortunately, the service is incredibly slow and the wait staff lack basic knowledge of their roles.

06/10/2025: Very good food and incredibly friendly staff. A fantastic location, where even in bad weather you can sit sheltered yet close to the water.

09/09/2025: The pizzas are very tasty, but the wait is quite long. The pasta is okay. A bit hectic.

21/08/2025: We had a good time, but not so good. The food was good, but unfortunately, we were served very late. We waited 10 minutes before being seated. Our order wasn't taken until half an hour after we sat down, and the pizzas arrived another 30 minutes later. The owner said the service is very slow because there aren't many people working in the dining room, and I understand her. She and another guy serve, and there really aren't many people for all this seating! What I didn't like was the fact that customers have to understand and normalize the quality of their service, justifying the lack of staff with "they can't find people to work, young people don't want to work." In short, these are prehistoric considerations. I'm leaving the one star because of this narrow-mindedness. We're not there yet...

07/06/2025: Mandatory stop. Very fresh fish products because it works both as a fishmonger and as an EXCELLENT restaurant. I tried the seared tuna, stuffed calamari, pasta with swordfish and cherry tomatoes. In addition to an excellent house white Cattaratto sold loose. Less than 20 euros per person. What's more, a cheerful atmosphere and knowledgeable and very kind staff. Unfortunately I live 1,400 km away otherwise I would gladly write other reviews

27/08/2025: Thanks to the warm and perfect welcome from Francesca and all the staff, we had an unforgettable stay at Belvedere di Salina. Leni and the beach of the village of Rinella are the best starting point for visiting the island and the entire archipelago. The structure is the authentic result of a meticulous renovation of a small village, starting with the foresight of Pope Salvatore. An authentic experience (increasingly rare to find) of the traditions, flavors, and aromas of the Aeolian Islands. See you soon, Andrea and Giovanna.

24/08/2025: A wonderful discovery in Salina. The entire staff, led by Francesca, is superb. You're on vacation, but at the same time, you're part of Francesca's family, who welcomes you with extraordinary warmth. Nothing is left to chance. From the carefully designed accommodations to the incredibly generous breakfast with local and homemade products, to the immaculate cleanliness of the residence and the common and private spaces. Total relaxation immersed in nature, with a natural silence where you can truly listen to nature. They use local products, with great attention to those with food intolerances. Keep it up!
