Qui troverete piatti di mare freschissimi e di altissima qualità, preparati con maestria e rispetto per il gusto autentico del Mediterraneo. Il tutto è arricchito dall’accoglienza calorosa e dallo spirito vivace del proprietario, che rende l’esperienza ancora più speciale con la sua simpatia contagiosa. 21/10/2024: Amazing dinner! Beautiful setting with our table on the side of the Main Street of Santa Marina di Salina. Great antipasto and incredible involtini of sword fish. Dessert is to die for!!!

19/03/2025: Il 17 e il 18 marzo ho fatto un corso sulla granita siciliana con Vincenzo ed Alessandro Squatrini Due artisti dell’arte dolciaria siciliana. Bello vedere con quanta passione Vincenzo ed Alessandro svolgono il loro mestiere utilizzando metodi ancora tradizionali con prodotti di altissima qualità. Le loro granite hanno un gusto eccezionale. Veramente un’esperienza indimenticabile. La gentilezza di Vincenzo e di Alessandro e delle loro rispettive mogli hanno reso questi due giorni davvero piacevoli. Insieme alla simpatia ed il supporto di altri corsisti. Spero molto presto di poter partecipare ad altri vostri corsi🩵

19/03/2025: Gelateria gestita da persone fantastiche, serie e professionali, che trattano delle materie prime fantastiche e di prima scelta, non a caso hanno vinto parecchi premi a livello mondiale😁 Tutto fresco e fatto da loro, dalle variegature, le paste che usano la frutta fresca di stagione...Sono rimasto davvero contento e affascinato dal loro modo di fare e si vede che lo fanno con passione... sembra di stare in famiglia....Da provare obbligatoriamente!!! ❤️

26/03/2025: I ordered through a fairly famous home service app and the delay of more than an hour in delivery depended on the service and not on the venue, I want to clarify this. Indeed, a detail in favor of the place is that they prepared my pizza as soon as the service was released so that it arrived hot, I appreciated this. I would have appreciated it more if they had canceled my order or removed - in advance - the possibility of home delivery, given the difficulties. I had ordered a gluten-free pizza with the addition (€1 on top of the basic price of the margherita) of baked potatoes: I received a pizza with 6 (counted) pieces of baked potatoes. So far the Ancestors have been my point of reference here in Messina for gluten-free, especially for pizzas, I hope that this was just an exception compared to all the times I had a good time. I want to give the place other possibilities, maybe next time they won't be so "stingy" when I order a pizza paying the extra for an additional topping. The quality of the pizza itself remains excellent, I remain hopeful.

13/01/2025: Terrazza riparata con una vista bellissima. Il personale è cordiale e gentile. Abbiamo pranzato in questo locale con un ottimo antipasto antipasto e due prim davvero strepitosi. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.

22/10/2024: Fuori stagione estiva in una ventosa serata ottombrina. Fermi al porto abbia optato per la trattoria per certi versi storica. Ci saremmo aspettati un caldo menù strettamente terroriale ma purtroppo l'abbiamo trovato francamente non adeguato. L'offerta della cantina un po sovrapprezzo, ottimi i dolci, scarsi e cari i secondi (ma più in generale l'intero menù). A Salina l'offerta "giù " scarseggia specie in questo periodo forse vale la pena sportarsi con un taxi per "salire"a Malfa dove ci sono realtà più interessanti e meno "ingessate". Ottimo comunque il servizio e la cortesia dei camerieri che cmq non "spiegano" i piatti

09/01/2025: The service is great. I don't speak Italian very well and whenever I go to the bar, even if the waiter is different, I get great service. They explain the flavors of what I order and even give me recommendations on what to eat. The pistachio and ricotta cornets are delicious. The ricotta cannoli is perfect. The prices are ok, today I paid €1.30 for a large cornet (the biggest I've ever had). The other day my husband and I went and the bill came to €5.70, so it's great for 2 people.

11/11/2024: I went there few days later after I saw the place was full of citizens. That's always a good sign the place is worth it and Sikanie Express is not an exception. Yeah, was cloudy day, and I had all bar just for myself, kind of. Drink list is huge, so I asked for suggestion and get the most delicious mojito I ever drink in my life - The Sicilian one served in very stylish jar. Owner is great person to chat. Nice music playing around. This place is iconic and writes a history here on Naxos in my opinion. If you wanna try a proper drink which is worth of money, packed with great stuff and enjoy nice time alone or with someone, this is your spot. Don't miss it.

22/08/2024: Sicilian rotisserie where everything is cooked strictly following authentic local recipes. All strictly homemade, I think their arancino is a real Oscar winner! The focaccia and rustici are also excellent! The hospitality of Massimo and Giusy who kept us there with the explanation of the various recipes made us truly feel at home! Recommended for those who want to taste the real Sicily.

26/01/2025: A bar for locals, we ate there twice, the antipasti was amazing, although there was little cheese, the 4-cheese pizza was unfortunately dry and tasteless, another day, the Pennette Diavola pasta was the best I've ever eaten, the Margarita pizza was delicious, the pancake with characters was delicious, the Tiramisu dessert was a surprise because it was ice cream. Overall, a great Sicilian atmosphere, a very nice waitress with short hair who welcomed us very nicely on our second visit, generally very good prices low. It's a pity that we had to go back.

28/03/2025: I’m sorry I didn’t take pictures, but the lack of taste in every dish can’t be caught in an image. It was the worst in Sicily and the most expensive at the same time. It was maybe the only place in Sicily that was out of vongole and common fishes everywhere in the area. The octopus grilled had no grilled consistency nor taste, but seemed boiled ‘ no salt and pepper’. The beef tagliata was dry, no juice, the prawn pasta was bad as well. It was the most expensive dinner in our holiday but it would’ve been just fine if the food was good. Let’s say our taste was the problem…. But the bread they brought us had mixed slices, some, at the bottom, were at least 2 days old. That is unacceptable for restaurant with such prices. To be fair, the antipasto, caponata, melanzana were ok, but nothing extraordinary.
