09/08/2026: A place frozen in time in a small, charming village, also suspended between the present and the past: Pettineo. I've been around Sicily, and I can say without a doubt that all the rotisserie at this bar is homemade, with generous and delicious fillings. The arancini are truly delicious, and the granitas are truly exceptional! I absolutely adore the pistachio one, but the lemon, strawberry, and mango ones are also something special you won't find in other bars!

07/07/2026: What can I say? You come in because you need cigarettes, and you leave with: a half-kilo of ice cream, four ricotta cerebellucci, two cones, and three buttered rolls. It's a wonderful place, comparable to Dante's Paradise. Anyone stopping in Pettineo can't miss it. The owners are great people, and their daughters are something rare, with a kindness and helpfulness from times gone by. My daughter, Emili, cried on the last day of vacation, not because we were leaving the beach, but because she couldn't eat their ice cream anymore.
