03/07/2026: We had a fantastic meal at Lumereda in Malfa. The pasta was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. What made the experience even better was the outstanding service from our waiter, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. Great food, excellent hospitality, and a wonderful atmosphere. We would definitely come back!

03/11/2025: Good Sicilian food for a very reasonable price. The young staff may at first come across as a bit stiff or unfriendly, but they’re definitely not! All the dishes are quite large — the antipasti can easily be shared by several people. At the end of the meal, a delicious house-made limoncello is served.

01/11/2025: We had an excellent experience at Agriturismo Ponte Due Archi, located a couple of kilometers from the beautiful village of Raccuja, just over twenty minutes from Capo D'Orlando and less than a quarter of an hour from Barolo. The location guarantees tranquility, silence, and rest. The rooms are very clean and equipped with the bare necessities, although not spacious. Outside, there is a swimming pool and a small children's play area. The real highlights, however, are the owners' helpfulness and the extraordinary breakfast, both sweet and savory, plentiful and of the highest quality, featuring fresh, locally sourced produce. The price is fair.

09/05/2026: The view of the Tindari promontory and the Aeolian Islands makes up for some of the shortcomings. The food isn't particularly healthy or tasty, but breakfast is a little better. The poolside veranda offers a breathtaking view. Adjacent to the entrance is the bar that serves the best granita in Terme di Levante. The sister hotel, Hotel Garden, 150 meters away, offers a conference room and buffet, including outdoor dining. Aeolian Islands.

25/12/2025: I received a Black and White cake from this pastry shop as a gift. The packaging was oddly glued together with staples, but nothing unusual. The surprise was inside, as the cake arrived without even a serving plate and was thrown haphazardly into the box without the slightest care. At least a stand could have been included.

09/05/2026: After years of going to this restaurant, this is the second time I don't understand what food was on my plates. I didn't comment the first time. It could happen again last Thursday. I never ate the food. I'm not the type to make a fuss. I paid without saying anything, but I won't be going back. It didn't lose one customer, but many. I'm 72 years old. I don't go to restaurants to get in trouble. €40 per person, without wine.

14/04/2026: A negative experience, unfortunately not an isolated one. At the first polite comment, the staff's reaction was disproportionate and unprofessional: heated tones and a complete inability to handle criticism. It's precisely in moments like these that the quality of service is measured. The point of the discussion was simple: after ordering wine by the glass, I was asked if it was okay, even if it was expensive, and only later did it emerge that the glass had been "poorly poured" by my colleagues, meaning it wasn't full, with a two-euro discount and no willingness to open a new bottle (an Etna red for around €80) "for me." An unclear dynamic, difficult to consider consistent with attentive service. Added to this is an even more unpleasant episode: after inquiring about a forgotten jacket, I was explicitly told that the reply was sent at 2 a.m. "on purpose" to disregard my rest (I swear, those exact words). It was accompanied by an invitation not to show up again and a heated argument over the 10-minute delay (the taxi was late, and we even let me know; the music evening started very late because the place was empty and no one told us). During the interaction, personal references were also made, such as "I know who you are, I know your parents," which were completely out of place and irrelevant to the context. I understand that managing multiple places can be challenging, but we've witnessed these scenes too often. Stress and the fact that you don't take days off cannot justify either angry attitudes or deliberately inappropriate behavior toward customers. A minimum level of professionalism should remain a constant, otherwise you should rest or seek professional help. This isn't the first time I've witnessed the owner make a scene toward customers and employees; it seems like a a little too much.

14/04/2026: We are the team of Villa Nadira. We went to Sottosopra with our host after hearing about it from her, and after she had recommended it to many guests. We’re not entirely sure what happened, but ordering a glass of wine turned out to be surprisingly complicated — lots of back and forth, with the waiter constantly coming and going. When we arrived, no one greeted us, and the waitress gave us an unfriendly look. So we ended up taking shots at the bar, as we were being ignored by the entire staff and didn’t even know where to sit. We waited in front of the kitchen. Eventually, we realized our table was downstairs. The live music night was nice, although the place was quite empty and they started very late. We’re not sure what happened later while paying the bill — at the time, we thought they were just joking around. One of us even played music and connected with the musicians, so overall there had been some genuinely nice moments. Two days later, we found out we were no longer welcome. Another staff member accompanied our host for clarification and told us that the waiter had said he would grab them by the hair and throw them out. A supposed manager justified the situation by saying that the owner never has days off. Avoid this place if you just want to have a good time without dealing with the staff’s anger. 21/06/2026: We came as a couple for dinner, and it was amazing! The restaurant is beautiful with a great atmosphere, and the food is simply outstanding. We ordered a slightly spicy pepperoni pizza, and it was the best pizza I have ever eaten in my life. Bravo! We also had a pizza with sausage and gorgonzola, which was also absolutely delicious. The salad was rather ordinary and lacked character. It was served without dressing, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, highly recommended.

01/06/2026: We celebrated my niece's first communion and confirmation at Agriturismo Il Daino and were truly impressed. The property is wonderful and well-maintained. I have celiac disease and rarely eat so well: the homemade gluten-free pasta was simply priceless, a meticulous attention to detail, but from the appetizers (fritters, sweet and sour meatballs, etc.) to the dessert, everything was excellent. Each dish was carefully prepared, delicious, and served with impeccable precision. The wait staff also deserves great praise: kind, attentive, professional, and always smiling. I don't know their names, but I would have thanked them individually for the care with which they served me, without a single mistake. A special day made even more beautiful by excellent cuisine and service that truly makes the difference. Sincere compliments to the owners and all the staff.

The highlight is undoubtedly the chicken: succulent, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, with that crispy skin that makes it irresistible. You can taste the special care taken in selecting the ingredients and seasoning. But what really makes this place special, beyond the quality of the food, is the welcome. The owners are exceptionally kind, always extremely helpful and with a smile on their faces. They make you feel at home from the moment you arrive, an added value that's not at all easy to find these days. Highly recommended for both a quick lunch and a quality takeout dinner. A historic landmark that never disappoints!

12/04/2026: We're staying at a campsite and after seeing Da Andrea online, we decided to try it. The chicken was delicious, with a lovely lemony flavor. The potatoes were also very good. I recommend it for a quick and tasty meal.
