28/11/2025: Stazzo, Acireale, CT. Piazza Mantova, 7. A nice place facing the square with a large terrace. We had pizzas, perhaps not exceptional, but still good. There were some service hiccups, but that can happen when there's a lot of people to look after. And it wasn't Saturday night! The prices seemed reasonable.

20/11/2025: Nice restaurant in the seaside area. On a winter Monday, we were the only ones in the restaurant. Good food and super friendly staff. Recommended!

29/08/2025: Truly sensationally delicious ice cream (pistachio) and aranchini. I thought the reviews here (the best in Sicily) were exaggerated, but it might actually be true :) Definitely try it! Update after 3 weeks traveling all over Sicily: These were truly the best ice cream in a brioche and the best aranchini!!!

02/03/2026: Small place, customers for years... but in the last few months, something has been wrong: the pizzas have gotten smaller. I always come for takeout, but the employee at the counter ignores me, even though there's no noise, because he has to constantly answer the phone for customers calling for home deliveries. They need to be more organized and more attentive to customers, especially if they're present.

27/02/2026: A really cool place! Delicious pizza, perfect Aperol, friendly service. I highly recommend this place. We tried the rich pizza and the Americana with fries for the first time and loved it. It's worth a visit!

04/01/2026: We discovered this restaurant by chance while strolling along the Torre Archirafi seafront. We were pleasantly surprised by the dishes on the menu: everything was fresh and good quality, with generous and flavorful appetizers. For our first course, we ordered the house specialty, shrimp and spider crab risotto...very, very good! In short, if you're in the area, it's a must-try!

03/01/2026: New Year's Eve 2026 Lunch. An excellent seafood New Year's Eve lunch. From appetizer to dessert, everything was delicious. The host was very kind and attentive. I recommend it and will be back.

03/02/2026: Found by chance during the feast of Saint Agatha, from the outside you wouldn't expect what's inside. A warm welcome from the lady (I apologize, I don't remember her name), professional and competent. Vincenzo, the chef, introduces you to traditional Catania cuisine revisited with a modern twist. The appetizer of cured meats and cheeses was excellent, carefully selected, but the real highlight was the seafood cured meats appetizer. I could tell you about the first course and the meat tartare, but that would be an understatement. Congratulations to this wine bar and restaurant, which will surprise you from the moment you enter with its simplicity, attention to detail, and the staff who work there will take you on an unforgettable culinary journey.

03/02/2026: We stopped at this wine bar for a light, undemanding bite. It was 1:00 PM. We left feeling calm and satisfied, and the food was amazing. The appetizers were excellent (a platter of local cured meats and cheeses), followed by another platter of seafood cured meats, an exclusive preview as soon as we arrived (swordfish mortadella, sea bass 'nduja, etc.), and a first course of ravioli alla norma with a chef's twist, truly interesting and worth trying. Followed by a delicious picagna tartare. The trio of desserts was indescribable. To sum it up in one piece... if you come to Catania, you have to come to this place. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

26/01/2026: I asked for availability and a quote for an eighteenth birthday party, and the owner responded rudely, saying he couldn't rent the room for just a few people, not even asking how many there were. And he didn't ask if I wanted to rent the whole room, which was a shame because that's what I wanted to do.

24/02/2026: Excellent pizza, well-topped, with a soft, melt-in-the-mouth crust. It's hard to choose given the original and very interesting menu. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the rustic location is very well-kept and welcoming. Highly recommended.

19/02/2026: In Riposto, CT. Corso Italia 215. Corner of Via Francesco Crispi. The pizzas and the rest are quite good. We had a lovely evening. We'll be back again!

18/01/2026: We've been coming here very often for a few years. The food is always excellent, everything top-quality. My favorite dish is the Chianina Antipasto, which is filling and delicious in itself. It's my entire family's favorite restaurant. Ironically, even though it's a steakhouse, they also offer a variety of vegetarian options.

10/01/2026: I was looking for a place to get pizza for lunch. First, I found a friendly voice who answered the phone, then a welcoming environment, delicious pizzas, and a dessert that makes my day better 😉. Moreover, and most importantly for me, I found true and spontaneous inclusion for my son. That doesn't always happen, it doesn't happen often. I highly recommend it in every way.

26/01/2026: Great little restaurant; street parking that wasn't difficult to find on a Friday night in January. Staff speaks English. There is a small, open kitchen with a woodfire pizza oven, and the pizza menu is extensive. My husband's swordfish wasn't fresh, but he didn't seem to mind. Storm Henry hit earlier in the week and the local fisherman were still probably recovering. We were looking for a restaurant that wasn't in Catania downtown and Valentino's fit the bill. Sigonella folks: this is a great place to go with a larger group. Atmosphere scored low because of the fluorescent lighting - does nothing for dining ambiance.

07/01/2026: I am always critical to dine at restaurants inside the city centre because so many restaurants are really not serving good food but charging you a lot. Vuciata is an exception. The fish there is so fresh and delicious. We tried the grilled octopus with mash potatoes and sarde a beccafico alla catanese. Both are unbelievably good especially the octopus.

08/12/2025: We came for the Pasta 2 times and they were really really good,the pasta the sauce,everything!The Staff was really friendly and so fast! We will visit next time too!
