26/09/2025: Good fish dinner with excellent service

22/09/2025: For our first evening in Catania, we chose this charming restaurant and were not disappointed. Welcoming and friendly, accompanied by excellent food and wine! A special mention for the almost entirely gluten-free menu (the only gluten-free item was the bread). I ate the best gluten-free fried calamari of my life here!

23/10/2025: The table had a sticky plastic tablecloth instead, and the glasses weren't properly washed. That was the start. I asked for fried fish and got a cold appetizer platter with fish and squid rings. Nice, but hopefully the pizza is better. So it's more of a fast-food pizza place. Good wine! (€6 per glass)

20/09/2025: I went to Accussì for their pizza, and I ordered something off the menu. The service is top-notch, the pizza chefs are excellent, and for the first time, I didn't spend the night hooked on a bottle. I don't think there's anything else to add, and I especially don't want to give away too many spoilers. The location is very nice, both inside and out. I've read some of the reviews from other customers, which are mostly written on days when the places get crowded. If you want to try their pizza, I recommend going on a Friday or a weekday. It's crowded, but not too crowded! I recommend their nuggets! Amazing ☺️ Thanks, I'll definitely be back!

29/09/2025: The food was not good. I ordered tuna, which was overcooked,served with marinated onions and red cabbage salad. The bread was stale. The wine was weak, the prices were not cheap. However, when I complained that the tuna was overcooked, they took it off from my bill. My husband ordered fried seafood, which was served with a fresh red cabbage salad. I don't think it goes well with seafood. I won't comment on this restaurant.

13/08/2025: A truly fantastic place to spend a wonderful holiday with friends and family. You can find whatever you're looking for. I would definitely recommend it.

25/05/2025: We call on a Saturday evening to find out if there is availability for 9 people, the guy answers yes even if a little hesitantly, as if I were making fun of him. We easily found parking and sat down shortly after our arrival. I ask to be able to order for the children, the waiter says to send me his colleague who however arrives after at least 15 minutes. We order, we receive half of the drinks ordered and, as soon as some potatoes arrive, we ask for the other drinks, but this time too the waiter turns a deaf ear and heads towards other tables that, although they arrived after us, were served first. Absent waiters, halfway through the dinner they warn us of missing products ordered (products such as raw ham, to be clear!) and, having ordered badly, they bring us a dish we did not order (we ask for roast potatoes and they bring grilled meat, calling it roast!) Reading the reviews we expected 5-star cuisine which unfortunately was only an illusion; good baked sausage, decent pork shank... Pinsa undefined, rubbery and with mozzarella piled up. The worst thing, however, was the waiting staff, while we were at the cash register the two boys rejoiced that we had gotten up, too bad that once caught they imitated some phantom TIC, something like that in a place like that is unacceptable. Advise the lady to review the staff from scratch The only positive note of the evening, the 1lt glass bottle of Coca Cola!

09/10/2025: On our honeymoon for 10 days in Sicily, our taste buds were captivated by the lovely family atmosphere and the quality of the food we enjoyed. Try the parmigiana: a delight in the mouth, melting and succulent. A big thank you to Carmelita for the quality of her welcome, and for her mother's delicious cooking.

06/10/2025: I went there recently with my girlfriend, and I had a very good experience. fish is super good and largely abundant. The price, furthermore, is very low, including water and wine. Definitely recommended. Top dish: grilled mix. great white fish, very well cooked.

24/10/2025: Best food in Catania!! Fantastic service by Marilena and the food was amazing. Highly recommend the Pasta Norma, Mozzarella started, chicken croquettes, and mango mocktail. Very generous portions! They had the most mocktail drinks in any bar of Catania that we visited. The lava cave was great and having a meal in the basement next to the cave was a memorable evening for us. Only regret is to not go here at the beginning of our trip so we could every day for a meal.

26/07/2025: Tried the chicken curry. Should have tried something more local. Felt like it was warmed in the microwave, and it was luke warm. Recommend to try something local and enjoy good wine here.

05/10/2025: This bistro is located in the quiet square of the Baroque church of Santa Rita. Our visit was a real pleasure, thanks to the quality of the food and drinks. The staff was very friendly, and even gave us the unique opportunity to visit the little church opposite, which would have been closed at the time.

23/08/2025: Our go-to place in Caltagirone. We stayed at Memá for three nights after a stay in Sicily. Its terrace is wonderful, with great music and a relaxing atmosphere. I can say the wine list is good, as I tried Nero Davola, which was very good and I returned several times. The food is well-prepared, without frills, but high-quality. The prices are very good. Dinner with wine, starter, and main course is €50 for two people. If you're looking for a quality, peaceful retreat with a chic atmosphere, this is your place.

25/06/2025: What can I say… everything was simply perfect! Max was available, attentive and impeccable in every detail. A rare welcome, which really makes the difference. The place is well-kept, the atmosphere warm and welcoming, the service excellent. You can feel the passion and dedication in everything. You are truly the best ever! The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. What truly sets Valleverde apart is the staff. Every single person we met went out of their way to ensure we had the best stay possible. Their restaurant is equally as delicious, from pizza to pasta to their August special the Aperifish - of which we had 3! Amazing place to stay in Sicily, couldn’t recommend more!
