29/07/2025: We're returning to Spain, and I can't stop thinking about one of the most special days of the trip: the one we spent at this rural agritourism property in Sicily. From the very first moment, they welcomed us with open arms, making us feel at home, despite being hundreds of miles away. The room was prepared with care and attention to detail, and both the house and the surroundings convey all the love and dedication this family puts into their home, their land, their animals, and their guests. The food was delicious. Both dinner and breakfast were abundant and exquisite. We were lucky enough to try a ribeye steak from their own cows, raised with admirable dedication and respect. With a stone grill to cook it any way we wanted, it was sooooo delicious. Although we don't speak Italian, we were able to communicate easily with the entire family. They are warm, friendly, and attentive people, and they chatted with us as if we'd known each other all our lives. We couldn't have had a better time. Thank you for hosting us so well! That night we met a lovely Italian couple from Milan, and between the food, the laughter, the conversation, and the limoncello, we had a great time. We send them a huge hug; we'll also remember them fondly. As a bonus, and to make it perfect, since I told them I loved cows, they offered to show them to me. It wasn't possible this time, but next time, I'm sure it will be! When we return to Sicily, we will. And by then, I'll have learned Italian 😉 I was so sad to leave. It was, without a doubt, the best stay of our vacation. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and human experience. A huge hug from Spain, from me and Ander, and I truly hope this family does well in everything they do.

25/07/2025: We were delighted to return to this place, immersed in a true oasis of peace, where we were warmly welcomed by the owners, Calogero, Virginia, and Sebastiano. The first stop—a must, given that it is the main source of income for this agriturismo—was a visit to the stables and a meeting with their livestock, which are tended with extreme care and attention. The solid values of respect and care for others are reflected here. What can I say in conclusion? A place definitely worth recommending, both for its setting and, above all, for the warm welcome and great hospitality of the entire family, who gave us an unforgettable evening and stay.

13/07/2025: A great restaurant with an owner who knows how to cook! Everything is freshly prepared and cooked with love. His family helps him. Located on Piazza Mazzini, with a great view, three minutes from Piazza Duomo. A really good place.

22/08/2025: It had been 7 years since our last trip to Giarre from Barcelona. On that occasion we had already enjoyed the best pizzas at Quattro Quarti. This time with our children, it has been a joy to see that over the years they continue to offer an excellent product with a welcoming service. It is worth dropping by if you are in Etna. Let's not forget the good TARI beer they offer.

20/08/2025: SHAMEFUL AND DISHONEST!!!! PRICES DID NOT CORRESPOND TO THE MENU! Excluding the service (the girl was really kind and professional), the experience was APPALLING. I booked with The Fork, saying I wanted to eat meat because my son wanted a giant steak for his 5th birthday. I was contacted and told that there was no discount for meat. I accepted anyway, EVEN THOUGH NOT INDICATED, I am in a city I am unfamiliar with and didn't feel like looking any further. I got to the table and the first surprise: despite the menu listing meat from 55 to 75 euros per kg, they told me they only have meat for 89 (not listed anywhere). PRICES DIFFERENT FROM THE MENU. It annoys me, 30 euros more is not a small amount, but it is my son's birthday. I order the meat and ask for it to be rare, medium at most.... The meat arrived that looked like a slab of cork, INEDIBLE, UNCHEWABLE. The ingredients are good, but if you ruin them, you can't charge that much! Oh, and the fries are baked for another reason. €140 (with 30% off The Fork), 2 pizzas, 1 Coke, 1 wine €23, 1 appetizer €14, and 1 steak left almost whole (I tried to eat it anyway because of the mistake, but I couldn't. The owner, however, wanted to offer me a bitter liqueur, hahahahaha).

03/08/2025: An excellent and well-kept location that transports you to a bygone era. The staff is welcoming, very professional, and knowledgeable. Among the many restaurants I've tried in Sicily, this is one of the best. The cellar offers a wide selection of wines, and the staff is knowledgeable and ready to help you pair the right wine with the right food. I highly recommend it.

04/07/2025: A beautiful restaurant with a huge wine list. The chef's dishes are spectacular! Good value for money for both food and drinks. We waited a little longer for the food, but it was good. The portions are huge. The risotto was made with parboiled rice, a faux pas. I also don't understand why all the fish products in a restaurant in Catania have to be frozen. The chef could surely do better! The caponata was divine. The fish appetizers were delicious, but the frozen products were completely unnecessary. Very friendly service!

30/07/2025: I've been going to Tumanji practically since it opened, and it was love at first sight, as I'm a fan of movies and TV series, a theme that runs throughout the place. Valerio is always kind, and what struck me most was the attention and care he puts into making the sandwiches, leaving nothing to chance. The ingredients are always fresh, which you can taste from the first bite. The sandwiches of the month are the highlight. Top

November's sandwich of the month is truly excellent: One Piece. Valerio never disappoints with his sandwiches of the month, and more!

19/08/2025: Visit this Family owned restaurant with my friends from Catania. It is a traditional Sicilian kitchen food restaurant. Most of the clients are local people and that is sign for very good local kitchen. From pizza , pasta , meat , fisch … great food ! I took grill meat plates. Smells and taste it great . Service is very fast and very friendly. I was the second time here and of course not last time ! It’s like the name of the restaurant says , “ at home of friends “

23/08/2025: The food is truly excellent, with outstanding taste and appearance. The waiter is a bit too introverted, but overall, it's a highly recommended restaurant.

19/08/2025: We booked for Ferragosto (August 15th). The place is overall very cute, well-decorated, bright, and welcoming. The owner knows how to make guests feel comfortable and pamper them. As for the food, the dishes are all made with the freshest fish. I personally didn't like the two starters, but that's just a matter of taste; the other diners enjoyed them. However, the day was hell for me. Despite the air conditioning (too small to cool the room) and fans, it was still stuffy and lacking air. Everyone at the table, including my two-year-old daughter, was drenched in sweat. Eating in those conditions was miserable, at least for me, who suffers from low blood pressure. I only nibbled, unable to savor the dishes with proper attention. The staff was not well-organized. We waited a long time for the starters to arrive (apparently they forgot about us, because the owner had to call a waiter back). Overall, it wasn't a pleasant experience. The place deserves a second chance, perhaps on non-holiday days. Furthermore, I believe there's much room for improvement in terms of organization and customer comfort.

21/08/2025: We have been family of 2adults, 2kids(6,7). Pizza was good, however service was minimal and to charge for it 8eur / 2eur per person even kids, its not ok. However you have no choice. Also, we made reservation and despite that, we have been sitting directly next to,the main entrance with direct AC, making it really cold for the kids and I felt little bit cheated as turist.
