23/08/2025: The food is truly excellent, with outstanding taste and appearance. The waiter is a bit too introverted, but overall, it's a highly recommended restaurant.

19/08/2025: We booked for Ferragosto (August 15th). The place is overall very cute, well-decorated, bright, and welcoming. The owner knows how to make guests feel comfortable and pamper them. As for the food, the dishes are all made with the freshest fish. I personally didn't like the two starters, but that's just a matter of taste; the other diners enjoyed them. However, the day was hell for me. Despite the air conditioning (too small to cool the room) and fans, it was still stuffy and lacking air. Everyone at the table, including my two-year-old daughter, was drenched in sweat. Eating in those conditions was miserable, at least for me, who suffers from low blood pressure. I only nibbled, unable to savor the dishes with proper attention. The staff was not well-organized. We waited a long time for the starters to arrive (apparently they forgot about us, because the owner had to call a waiter back). Overall, it wasn't a pleasant experience. The place deserves a second chance, perhaps on non-holiday days. Furthermore, I believe there's much room for improvement in terms of organization and customer comfort.

09/06/2025: It was a fabulous experience... we come from Turin, my wife and I were in Catania for work... and we came to them recommended on Thursday and Friday evening. The passion of the girl at the tables makes you feel the enthusiasm and love they put into it. And we found all this love in the dishes: they are one word FABULOUS. On the first day we had a fish soup, then paccheri with fish and almonds and then a fried food. The sauces were mixed together like on few occasions we have found. The desserts were also superlative. On the second day we varied with 3 other appetizers and a new first course of scialatelli always with fish, pine nuts etc. and then with a fish and eggplant skewer. Everything fabulous. Our compliments because we almost never write reviews but you made me think of Montalbano and how much he loved good Catania food. Congratulations, keep it up because we found all the love you put into your dishes. Andrea and Viktoria

08/07/2025: Delicious: The restaurant beautifully combines local ingredients, excellent service, and a wow factor, creating a truly wonderful experience. I went with my girlfriend for her birthday, and both the sommelier and the two waitresses were very friendly and attentive. When I mentioned the need to change a dish due to an ingredient, they offered a similar solution, which I thought was an excellent detail.

10/06/2025: An experience not to be missed among the starred restaurants in Sicily. Chefs Colonnetta and Patti, masters of hospitality, manage to make you live a unique experience in the gastronomic panorama. Another peculiarity, compared to other starred restaurants, is the not too formal spirit that distinguishes them. Nino, the maitre-sommelier, enhances each course with his explanations and wine pairing. The waiters are kind and professional. The dishes are studied in every detail with various references to Sicilian traditions, often taking you back to childhood memories. Finally, the desserts, in particular, our pear and chocolate was a revelation both to the sight and to the palate. An experience and a journey that enrich you.

From the first moment, you can feel the welcoming atmosphere: the staff is incredibly courteous and helpful, always attentive and attentive to every detail without ever being intrusive. The service is impeccable, meticulously executed, with a sense of elegance and luxury that is always accompanied by warmth and familiarity. The food is breathtaking: incredibly fresh fish, sublimely cooked using top-quality ingredients. Each dish is a balance of authentic flavors and refined presentation. 20/08/2025: Highly recommended for those who want to eat well, feel at home, and spend very little. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and warm. As Giancarlo said last night, at his restaurant, we're all equal, and he treats everyone like one big family. The quality of the fish is excellent, and all the ingredients are treated with love, and it shows! When the bill arrived, my wife and I looked at each other in disbelief, thinking it was a mistake... They thought they were paying at least double! I'll recommend this place to anyone visiting Catania! Warm regards to Giancarlo, Filippo, and all the other staff members!

29/08/2025: Beautiful, rustic restaurant. I was particularly struck by the interior decor, a renovated old cellar. The atmosphere is welcoming, the exterior is well-kept. I ordered the pizza and it was delicious. I'll be back.

24/08/2025: A very nice and relaxing place, especially in the summer with outdoor seating. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The food is excellent, and the pizza, typical of Sicilian tradition, features a light crust and quality ingredients. A truly wonderful place to be.

27/07/2025: The best bar in town. The service, food, and drinks are all excellent, and the Granite is the best. The bar is very professionally run, which is also evident in the perfectly clean and beautiful restrooms.

12/07/2025: We requested a table on the terrace overlooking the sea and they accommodated us. The food was good, but the service was a bit chaotic. There were two of us and we ordered a mixed appetizer to share, a first course each, half a liter of house wine, and a bottle of sparkling water for a total of €62. 09/07/2025

08/07/2025: I'll tell you about my experience. I ordered spaghetti with sea urchins and they brought me spaghetti that tasted like mussels, with pieces of mussels blended into the middle. We ordered spaghetti tarantina style and were brought a plate of seafood risotto. We were even told that, even if it was their mistake, we could have just settled for the risotto. The wait staff even treated us badly for our negative response. As far as I'm concerned, it's an experience I'll never repeat.

30/04/2025: nice place. well cared for in the furnishings and matching colours. from the windows you overlook Piazza San Giorgio, yet another glimpse of Caltagirone. the pizzas are very good. excellent ingredients and high quality seasoning. and then, as we know, the eye also wants its part.... the attentive room service is friendly. the final caress is the "dessert", the restaurant's specialty. a gem of those that, as soon as you see it, you say "I'm full, I won't even taste it". but then, you don't just taste it. You don't even leave a morsel. If you are in Caltagirone and want to eat a good pizza, stop by.
