28/08/2025: I'm sorry, but unfortunately I think they should have given up on the catering. They may be good at making crispelle and tavola calda, but the rest is a complete failure. The fish was inedible, extremely salty, they mixed up our orders, two of us ate and finished while the others still waited and watched. They didn't bring us anything to accompany the fish even though we were told they'd bring at least some focaccia. The staff were friendly and kind but unprofessional. After all these flaws, the bill arrived even more expensive than the fish 😂 and they didn't even take 50 cents off us. The only positive note of the evening: the crepes. Not to be repeated.

27/08/2025: I was here for dinner during the week, so it wasn't very crowded, but the service was still slow. Furthermore, the dishes came out staggered, so we couldn't all eat at once. The fish dishes were truly inedible, including the seafood risotto, the raw fish, and the tuna. The pizzas were decent—nothing exceptional, but at least they were edible. The only truly good thing were the crispelle, both with ricotta and anchovies. The wait staff was friendly but at times completely absent; we had to get up to ask for drinks. It's not cheap. I don't recommend it.

07/08/2025: The homemade pasta is excellent, and I recommend trying the homemade Etna. We didn't order desserts because the pasta was filling. The service was excellent and very friendly. It's worth asking about dishes off the menu, as my son wanted carbonara, which wasn't on the menu, but he still got it. The prices are similar to everywhere else in the area.

06/08/2025: They cheated us (we took 2 bottles of water and they charged us 4!!!((((((I was really excited(((very negative impression!! people watch out!!! because the exchange!!!!!!!Not bad))) but there was too much pepper in the mussels (((really too much… I still didn't like that you are sitting on an open terrace (you are chewing), and here they are asking you for alms (but you can't do anything about it))))

17/08/2025: I went with a group of families. We opted for the aperitif option and everyone was very satisfied. The aperitif was plentiful and excellent at a truly incredible price. The pinsa had a very light dough and the montanare were truly amazing. I will definitely be back.

13/08/2025: I took the guide to see 4 rooms, because the rest of the building is inhabited by hereditary families and therefore not visible.

12/08/2025: A very beautiful palace with an explanation in Italian from one of the heirs who laughed and told us the history of Catania and his family. It was truly wonderful. Thank you!

29/07/2025: Excellent spaghetti with clams, and the pasta with sardines is also delicious. We booked for a quick lunch near closing time, and they were very kind in waiting for us. The service was fast and impeccable. We'll definitely keep this place in mind if we're ever in the area again.

25/07/2025: When we asked for a simple bottle of tap water (as required by Italian law and a modicum of common sense), we were met with a firm "no," forcing us to buy bottled water. Besides being an unsustainable choice, it's also disrespectful to customers. At a time when more and more establishments are committed to offering transparent and environmentally friendly service, this attitude seems anachronistic and unpleasant. It's a shame, because the food is truly delicious, but this detail ruined the experience.

15/08/2025: Had a fantastic stay at this hotel with the family, for the second consecutive time. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious - grazie mille! 👌😊
