11/10/2025: A café on the main street that churns out huge, delicious pieces of rotisserie. Average granita and pastries, beautiful cakes, and reasonable prices.

18/10/2025: The ambiance doesn't initially remind you of a restaurant, but the food is impressive. Fish, pasta, pizza—everything was perfect. Top-notch service!

16/10/2025: Definitely eat here! Don't be put off by the first impression outside. The interior is also very simply designed, but it's an old cinema that has NOT been extensively renovated... The pizza (Diavolo with extra mushrooms) was truly as perfect as others have described. The risotto with zucchini and prawns was al dente, delicious, and a large portion... A chilled (!) glass would be served with the beer... Very friendly staff, many greetings to Laura and the great maestro in the oven. So, highest praise! Best regards, Harald

03/10/2025: Every time we go to Sicily, we go to this wonderful bakery to buy their cunzato bread. It's a true delight; everything is DELICIOUS. Wonderful people who make us feel at home. From Francesco and Concetta in Turin.

23/10/2025: Just after 6 PM, we went to FAB for an aperitif. We only got a small bowl of crackers with our two drinks, and they weren't cheap at all (8 euros). From other reviews, I know that snacks are usually more plentiful, so we must have arrived at a bad time, as the staff were otherwise occupied. A group of screaming kids were running around the courtyard and in the bar, playing soccer. Once, the soccer ball even hit our table. Furthermore, while setting the table, a small boy was helping the waiter, and he spat on me. We were apologized for everything, but the staff didn't try to manage the chaos. They explained that they were having some kind of performance. We ended up drinking our drinks in a hurry to get out of there as quickly as possible. I don't recommend this place.

23/10/2025: On Sunday, the FAB hosted an artist who performed a wonderful children's show! We chose to stay there for dinner, all together, a group of wonderful families! The children played ball for five minutes in the courtyard, then hide-and-seek, and then ran around! It was wonderful; no child was sitting in front of a screen... they laughed, cried, argued, and then made up, a bit like they used to do in the '80s, which we miss so much! Yet, meeting children who do what they do is always a nuisance to the fanatic on duty, who doesn't want to hear the fuss and is the first to point out if that same child is turned off in front of a phone! The FAB is a welcoming place that exudes culture, attention to detail, impeccable cuisine, and keeps its arms wide open to life and joy...

12/10/2025: I took the u sapuritu appetizer, consisting first of a large plate of raw fish (anchovies, shrimp, swordfish, octopus) followed by hot dishes with fried caponata, zeppelin skewer and sardines alla beccafico and mussel soup (I appreciated the cold one more) with water and a glass of wine for under 30 euros.

11/10/2025: The restaurant has a pleasant, family atmosphere; we managed to get in at 7:30 PM without a reservation. The mussels were a generous portion for our appetizer, and the iconic swordfish unfortunately didn't appeal to our palate, but the fish was well prepared. A generous glass of wine was a bonus :)

20/08/2025: An excellent location for a delicious dinner. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about any questions we had. We booked a week in advance to secure a spot.

15/08/2025: A wonderful experience with the family! The restaurant opens onto a small alley (hence the name "vico") with a welcoming and refined atmosphere. Don't be fooled by the term "teetotal," as the wine list is truly impressive. Note that, in addition to featuring labels from all over Italy, the menu also places great emphasis on wines from the Etna area and Sicily in general. I say this because I appreciate the owner-chef's desire to showcase the richness of his homeland. The menu is very well curated and the ingredients are excellent. My favorite is undoubtedly "my arancino," a sort of deconstructed arancini (I hope the chef will forgive me if that's not the right word) with stew, truly delicious! A big thank you to chef-owner Massimiliano for sharing his stories about the birth of his wonderful restaurant, the fruit of hard work and passion for his craft.

07/10/2025: You MUST visit and eat here! The place was packed with locals coming and going, so you know the pizza is good. And good it was!! The is no table service, but don't let that deter you from devouring freshly made pizza and arancini! The owner and his employees treated us with utmost respect.

15/10/2025: We were blown away by the experience. Sophisticated dishes, clever pairings, and fantastic dishes—it was impossible not to photograph everything. Generous portions, fresh, high-quality fish. The service was impeccable, the staff knowledgeable and friendly. Excellent value, too. Not to mention the wonderful sea view. A must-try, it's a must-try for anyone who loves good food and elegant locations. We'll be back!

13/10/2025: My favorite restaurant in all of Sicily. The best raw fish around, a high-end gastronomic experience in a beautiful location. Friendly and attentive service. I return whenever I can. And I recommend it to every friend who passes by. I've never tried a first or second course; I go there for the raw fish. Mamma mia!!!

08/10/2025: I have been a customer for many years and to taste the arancini I am usually willing to travel 35 km there and back. I recommend you try the pastry shop and the hot food shop, but especially the delicious arancini!! I love Sicilian pastry shops and hot food shops, but in my opinion their arancini are the best and freshest in the entire province!! I also recommend you try the delicious ice creams and granitas in the summer. I recommend this bar to everyone!! And a special thanks to the managers and their respective families.

23/09/2025: My wife and I actually found this restaurant by accident, and turned out to be one of the best places we ate at during our vacation in Sicily. The service was great! and the food was delicious with so many extras. I surely recommend it.

The portions are large, delicious, and reasonably priced. The way they packaged the food we didn't have time to eat on the spot also deserves special mention. I'd love to go back!

12/08/2025: Beautiful and elegant location, you can dine outside (in the summer) surrounded by the greenery of an enchanting garden. The dishes met our expectations and we will definitely be back. The service is impeccable and everyone is very professional, the girls are very sweet. Thank you for everything.

27/09/2025: Always friendly and helpful, the pizzas are adequate, topped with good ingredients and a slightly different dough than usual, what my father called "biscottato." Excellent. The takeout portion is quite busy, so it's best to book well in advance. The three-star service is only because customers pick up their freshly baked pizzas at the counter; there's no real table service. But that's fine.

12/10/2025: The fish was incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked, full of flavor and beautifully presented. You can tell this is a place where locals eat, authentic, simple, and focused on quality. If you're looking for fresh seafood in Sicily, this spot is a must-try. We’re so glad we followed the local advice!
