16/03/2025: Apart from some of the annoyed staff, the bathroom soap dispenser that sprays on you, the indivisible aperitif and above average prices, otherwise the food is really excellent with generous portions, the pizza is also excellent.

15/03/2025: A jewel in the centre of Catania. Upon entering, you are immediately pulled back in time to a world since gone by. A time when the Lords and Nobles quite rightly ruled over the plebians. A time where one man's hard earned birthright was not so unjustly taken by the state. If I could go back in time, I would be lucky just to be a lowly servant if it meant I could wonder these halls and bask in the Moncada Paternò Castello aura. Truely magnífico!

22/03/2025: We haven't even asked for the receipt yet, we need to write a review. We ate too well, if we really had to find a negative element, there was only one sandwich with pistachio left (I understand why) but in the end I got the horse meatball with pistachio and that's fine. Total top, we'll be back!

16/03/2025: Excellent bar with fair prices and a diner and breakfast where you're spoiled for choice, the only flaw in my opinion is that when it's crowded the cleanliness leaves something to be desired because the bins are full, but if it's crowded it means it works well ☺️
14/03/2025: Excellent diner and pastry shop. The bar always focuses on the quality of the products. I highly recommend everything related to desserts with wild strawberries.

01/04/2025: Ottima cena di pesce, molto buoni gli antipasti, anche il risotto buono e molto molto abbondante che non guasta. Serata "brevemente", per fortuna, intrattenuta da musici ambulanti senza dubbio bravi ma a cena personalmente eviterei volentieri, per il resto davvero consigliabile.

The advertising they sponsor on tik tok, for me, is not very truthful the videos I saw make everything appear very abundant
The price they advertise is € 18 but they do not specify that you have to add the cover charge which is equivalent to another € 3
The waiting staff is really professional and multilingual

10/03/2025: The food and prices are 5*. Tuna steaks are delicious. Gnocchi sorrentina is a bit too wet in the sauce, but it's delicious.
The service is very, very slow. But if you have time, it's worth it.
09/03/2025: The food is good, but it doesn't deserve the wait. The cook had to place the lumpfish roe with tweezers on our plates (1h30 in total including 45min wait for the dish)
The music and the atmosphere are good

23/03/2025: We ended up there on the recommendation of several guides and we were not disappointed. The pizza was delicious, the service was perfect, and the concentration and intensity of pistachios was incredible. The fries with pistachio cream and burrata were a revelation. The pizza with spicy salami and onion and the inspired ala norma sauce with eggplant were absolute culinary revelations. On a Friday evening, the place filled up quickly, and the service was perfect. The wine fridge also caught our attention.

It was delicious here yesterday.
The portions are decently sized, it's well seasoned and "picant" means "picant".
We were alone in the restaurant. The main revenue is generated from delivery services.
We will eat there again.
23/02/2025: It is the oldest Chinese restaurant in Catania. I returned to this place after over thirty years, the food is decent, the place inside is very characteristic, typical Chinese with original decorations. A recommended experience.

03/03/2025: This inn offers a great dining experience. The carbonara is creamy and tasty, the burgers are succulent and well prepared, while the starter is tasty. The service is friendly and the atmosphere welcoming. An ideal place for a pleasant lunch, absolutely recommended.
02/03/2025: My relatives brought me, coming from Treviso I had to taste Sicilian specialties, however I also recommend the pizza. Congratulations also to the service.
