Highly recommended for those who have a family, you pay little and you eat well, from the grill to the table in a few minutes, I took the first and second courses for 4 people, we paid €50, excellent quality, kind and friendly staff

I wish the pictures could capture how DELICIOUS these horse meatballs were 🤤 This place was recommended to me by a dear friend who grew up in Catania, and it did not disappoint 👍🏼 The meat is grilled freshly outside and you can talk to the chef while he prepares each order. The horse meat is unlike anything I have ever tasted, in a good way (even though i was hoping I would dislike it because I enjoy riding horses 🐴 😅) Friendly service, and very fair pricing, especially for the generous portions you get. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Handicap friendly, ground floor is wheelchair accessible. There are some very limited vegetation options for those brave vegans and vegetarians who might somehow be ok with all the delicious meat around them 🥩 🥗 😘

This was a great find - a nice trattoria, a bit out of the touristy center, filled with locals. I had a pasta dish, a quartino of wine, and a dessert- enjoyed everything. Service was good and everything was fresh. Reasonably priced. Not terribly far from the monastery. It seemed like meat was their specialty- I’d live to return to try some out. Recommend.

Ci ha consigliato questa trattoria tipica catanese un venditore di spremute di melograno. È mai consiglio fu più prezioso. Pasta alla norma e filetto di cavallo all’ennesima potenza! Abbiamo pranzato con questi 2 piatti tipici catanesi ed è stata una goduria. Eccezionali! Il cavallo era veramente ottimo. Location rustica, come le trattorie di una volta. Non indicata a chi cerca raffinatezze o modernità. Assolutamente consigliata a chi vuol mangiar bene spendendo il giusto.
