We hadn't been to this place for a while, and in the past we'd eaten really well, but now it was a bit disappointing, starting with the house appetizer. Before, we were spoiled for choice, but now we found very little to choose from, and most of it was from the previous day's cooking, and it was only 8:00 PM and there were only 6 people seated. The horse meatballs tasted good but were very dry, the one with Philadelphia had a really bad taste, as if it had been kneaded for days, and the sausage was completely raw. The only good thing was the fillet, but we paid quite a bit for just 4 small slices: €55.

A place where you could fill up with such a wide variety of appetizers, the first courses are plentiful, and the grilled food—I dare say, out of this world—is something you can clearly feel when you're 40 years old in front of the grill. The price is undoubtedly affordable, a moral endorsement for the taste and price. Try it and believe it.

One of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Felt so at home, they made us pasta that was not on the menu and served very gorgeous Horse carpaccio. Wonderful people and ingredients, you could taste how fresh it was. Thank you Carlo V!

This place is highly recommended if you're looking for a full local experience! The place is simple, family-friendly, and homey, and the attentive and caring staff, even when packed, are always willing to accommodate every request! And of course, the horse meat and meatballs are exceptional. I also enjoyed the salads, the produce, and the local wine... a complete experience!

Neighborhood trattoria specializing in roast horse meat. The meatballs are delicious, very large at €2 each. The first courses are very generous. The salad alla norma is very good and generous at €3.50. Very good prices, fast service.

I really enjoyed the horse meat; the meatball literally melted in my mouth. ⚠️(Obviously, be careful during peak hours: Saturday lunchtime or Sundays are very crowded)⚠️ and you risk not finding a seat. It's one of the best places in Catania, the quality is truly top-notch. I loved it! Fair price.

The place has a very atmospheric feel, I must say. We ordered a horse meat panini, and it was very stringy, impossible to chew properly. We had to remove the meat and trim off all the junk, and then it was fine. I recommend the fillet or steak, as I suspect this wouldn't be a problem, but I haven't tried it.
