25/04/2025: Old school vibe. Had assorted fried fish and shellfish, a massive plate of Pasta Alla Norma, swordfish past, and local dry white wine— so good! Papa Lardo runs the place and is very friendly.

06/07/2025: If it was just the food I would have given five stars, but there are some aspects that disappointed me... the pastry shop does not have tables where you can eat in peace, so with the photonic heat that it makes you have to take your things and eat them standing outside. Very good cannolo, cassatina for my taste too sweet.

07/08/2025: Our favorite place! Giancarlo Barone won us over the first time, and has been a weekly regular ever since. The relaxing atmosphere, overlooking the sea near Aci Castello, makes every meal special. The menu offers a wide selection: the pizzas are delicious, but the meat and fish dishes are always top-notch. We absolutely recommend the mixed appetizers: they're varied, plentiful, and truly well-prepared. The owner is a wonderful person, always attentive to his customers, and the waiters are extremely kind. A special thanks to Carmelo, always professional and helpful. A restaurant that truly puts quality and customer service first. Highly recommended!

01/08/2025: We returned to this restaurant after having enjoyed it in the past, but this time it was a terrible experience. The staff was rude from the start. Every request, even the simplest, was ignored or met with annoyance. The waiter who served us literally threw our plates on the table, and when we politely asked for extra plates and silverware to share a dish, he responded arrogantly, "Do you need anything else?" Despite the request being for two dishes to share between four people, he returned with only one plate and two silverware. Two of our friends had to eat from the same plate. Unfortunately, the food didn't save the evening either: smaller portions and significantly lower quality than previous visits. It's a real shame to see a place deteriorate so much.

21/06/2025: Una cena tra amiche che si è trasformata in un piccolo viaggio di gusto e accoglienza. Siamo state da Corte dei Bischeri in tre, e fin dal primo momento ci siamo sentite coccolate e benvenute. Il merito è anche del proprietario, attento, disponibile e gentilissimo, che ha saputo accompagnarci nella scelta dei piatti e del vino con garbo e competenza. Abbiamo iniziato con un crudo di pesce freschissimo, elegante nella presentazione e impeccabile nel sapore, e proseguito con un’orata pescata in crosta di sale, che ci è stata servita al tavolo con grande maestria. In accompagnamento, uno spumante etneo metodo classico che ha esaltato ogni boccone. Tra le chicche del menu, meritano una menzione le ostriche, vera specialità della casa, e un piatto raro e sorprendente: l’occhio di bue, noto anche come “di San Giovanni”, che non si incontra spesso e che qui viene valorizzato con rispetto e creatività. Abbiamo scoperto questo delizioso ristorante grazie alla nostra amica Rosalba, catanese d’adozione ma di cuore regalbutese, che ci ha fatto un regalo prezioso. E come se non bastasse, il proprietario ci ha anche suggerito dove pranzare il giorno dopo, mandandoci da Re Carlo V in via del Plebiscito per gustare le tipiche polpette di cavallo: consiglio azzeccatissimo. Un luogo che unisce la qualità della cucina alla cura per l’ospite. Torneremo sicuramente.

01/06/2025: A magnificent setting at the foot of Palazzo Biscari, ideal for al fresco dining. The fish is fresh and well-presented, which inspires confidence, and some dishes are truly well-executed. That said, the overall experience sometimes lacked a little precision or seasoning depending on the dish. The service is decent but could have been a little more attentive. A good place despite a few details that could be improved.

04/06/2025: An experience that is nothing short of sublime. The place is very elegant and comfortable. Food of exceptional quality. First courses with very original combinations and generous portions. But what makes the difference is the service: friendly and helpful staff that always makes the customer feel at the center. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend it.

29/05/2025: Refined restaurant in an elegant and quiet environment. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, the traditional Catania dishes satisfy first the eye and then the palate. The bill is adequate for the quality of the service and the menu. Recommended.

08/07/2025: It's a place of the heart!❤️ I celebrated my 30th birthday, I celebrated many important moments such as Easter with the family, the marriage proposal and several birthdays of my family! It's a wonderful place that feels like home! 💖 Very high quality food both in terms of raw materials and the type of menu, everything is always excellent, the location is wonderful 😍 there is a zoo with beautiful animals to admire especially during the day, a playground for children for outdoor activities and the internal room has a mega galactic fireplace 😍 Ideal for both winter and summer events! Highly recommended from all points of view!❤️💯

13/08/2025: Spectacular granita, €2 each. One of the best mulberry granitas I've ever had in all of Sicily! If you order it to go, you can enjoy it while strolling through the beautiful park across the street.

12/01/2025: Il posto è bellissimo, il camino che scalda la sala, tutto così meraviglioso. La signora Cinzia è una persona meravigliosa, gentile, accogliente attenta a tutto. Ci ha serviti e coccolati dal primo istante in cui siamo arrivati fino alla fine. Piatti tutti caserecci e fatti freschi, super abbondanti e super buoni. Siamo rimasti soddisfatti al 100% torneremo sicuramente e consigliamo assolutamente questo ristorante per chi vuole sentirsi a casa, mangiando bene.

14/06/2025: I recommend the rusticheria or, better, tavola calda. I ate an Oscar-worthy onion. Then in front of the sea... 90s location, Catania sea and good quality takeaway food. Why not?
