19/06/2026: Absolutely fantastic traditional food. Antipasto was simply delicious. Primi and secundi some of the best we had in Sicily. Red house wine is also good. Full dinner with a desert, coffee, and wine costs no more than 40€! Highly recommended place!

14/06/2026: We had an amazing stay, and dinner at Shalai.
We upgraded to the Junior Suite with terrace, and the room was really perfect. The ceiling just wow! The staff all really helpful and friendly.
And for dinner we had the “Leggende di Terre” (meat tasting menu) with wine pairing which was fabulous & a really amazing experience.

Really lovely, historic, and comfortable.
The reception staff were very attentive and spoke French.
Good breakfast with a varied menu. Pretty white tablecloths.
Refined dinner available on site.

29/06/2026: There were two of us, and we ordered two vegetarian menus. The tigelle and gnocchi were very good, as were all the spreads. Everything was excellent.
29/06/2026: Welcoming atmosphere, good food, very friendly wait staff, prices a little high, not for everyone's budget, but I don't dare to criticize, it's just my opinion. I'd happily recommend it, and the evening with Mr. Why was truly wowwww 😍.

01/04/2026: There's a restaurant that feels like home, far from menus with "typical" dishes, but rather focused on seasonal, local, and local products from the countryside around the house.
A warm, cheerful, genuine, and kind atmosphere.
A place for those who appreciate, for those who savor, for those who love a break as much as they love food. Highly recommended.

09/08/2026: Worst place I ever visited in Europe to eat breakfast. Positive reviews doesnt shows the reality totally! We ordered two different toasts one with scrambled eggs and the second bacon and cheddar which was very awful… there was almost nothing inside the toast and nothing tasted good, they didnt even toast the bread… just waste of money and every table were full of dirt, leftover from previous clients.
