02/07/2025: recommended by a local friend, saying it's the best espresso here. But, I dont know why the barista tried to ignore me when I stood patiently at the bar waiting for him finished chatting with his friends. When I finally tried to greet him by saying Ciao, he pointed out one finger and implied that he needed a few moments. Although the espresso might be nice and only cost 1.2 euros, still I won't recommend this place to other foreigners..

27/06/2025: Best cappuccino i’ve had in a long time! Delicious and nice strong taste of espresso. Loved the stand up bar & the croissant as well. Very reasonable price for the coffees and pastries. Will be returning for our daily cappuccinos while in Palermo!

25/06/2025: As soon as we landed in Catania late at night, we were hungry and looking for a restaurant in the center of Catania, we stopped at this trattoria where they made us sit outside, we were welcomed with smiles and cordiality, we ate fresh fish and excellent seafood and all at very reasonable prices. Excellent experience, well done!

14/06/2025: Had dinner as a couple, a truly excellent experience. We took a raw and cooked appetizer, a first course (shrimp, basil pesto, cherry tomatoes, all fresh) recommended when ordering and a bottle of Grillo 7 terre. The staff was knowledgeable, present and precise. If I had to find a flaw in the evening: for dessert only sorbet (perhaps all the others on the menu were finished).

14/06/2025: Uno spettacolo! La location (una vista D’uomo che toglie il fiato), il personale( professionale, simpatico e super attento), il cibo (fantastico), hanno reso la nostra serata a Cefalù un sogno. Sicuramente lo consiglieremo!

20/07/2025: We dined at Sal8 and I was delighted with the welcome and hospitality of the staff. The food is divinely good, the staff attentive and French-speaking, and the atmosphere is relaxed. I recommend it without reservation. Bravo to the entire team.

19/07/2025: It's not just a restaurant, it's an experience. Exceptional dishes with indescribable flavors. Excellent service: attentive, but never intrusive. The welcome glass of wine was much appreciated. The appetizer, in my opinion, captured the original essence of this restaurant: intriguing combinations, sensational textures, and flavors you can't understand until you try them. We live in Lombardy, but we hope to be able to return specifically to eat at this special place once again. Congratulations and thank you for everything.

03/06/2025: Arriving at this place is like feeling at home, the environment is familiar as is the welcome, the staff is polite, patient and helpful... Added value is the little shop where Mrs. Luciana offers local products and especially her preparations jams syrups caponata.. We ate some appetizers that represent the territory, the pepper and aubergine rolls perhaps too small (aubergine and pepper) appear to be little present compared to the filling as well as the olives The fried stuffed egg is surprising, the cheeses and jams that accompany the fresh ricotta just warm are excellent... Quick but not very descriptive of what was brought to the table (I did not understand what a sweet and sour dish was, perhaps meat!?) The first courses were very generous and well thought out, but the risotto had a bitter taste (perhaps the hazelnuts were too toasted!?) The macaroni alla norma were good The busiate (they were not the pasta shape they were the twins....), full flavor, but no burrata (maybe finished....) and it was replaced by mozzarella, and it doesn't make the dish enveloping and blended like burrata can give... They manage to have many seats, maybe you can give up a few tables and be more excellent (they have all the potential) Quality and price appreciable right Coffee in a cup "hurray!" In many places they serve coffee on paper😆 I'll have to come back to taste the second courses...

24/06/2025: Terrific pizzas with great crust - large selection. Also pasta and burgers and good selection of beers. Lots of outdoor tables. Really excellent value. Situated on the end of the square so lively area.

20/06/2025: Excellent trattoria, typical and quality cuisine, with authentic aromas. A table finally covered, a menu still fortunately on paper and real dishes instead of the tiles that are so fashionable now. Excellent and tasty house red wine. Fair prices and the owner kind and helpful. The tripe? Delicious! On par with the caponata.

17/06/2025: I went to this restaurant for dinner and I can only give it a positive review. The dishes were all delicious and plentiful. What can I say about their caponata... devastating! I highly recommend trying this place. A special thanks to Mrs. Veronica, who looks after her "guests" at the tables with passion and kindness!

24/06/2025: I'll start by saying that I'm from Umbria, I booked this place thinking it was a restaurant. It's actually a wine shop in all respects. Initially I wasn't really convinced, but I had to change my mind. Typical local cuisine cooked by real Sicilians and not by foreigners as many local places are used to. Simple but genuine dishes, cooked with skill. I was pleasantly surprised. The owner is professional but at the same time easy-going, he immediately made us feel at ease. I don't know if I'll have the chance to return, but I highly recommend it!

22/06/2025: Two words: Incredibly delicious! Incredibly good antipasti, good wine, and very friendly service. The chef came to our table after the meal and asked if we enjoyed our meal. If you want to eat delicious antipasti in Ortigia, this is the place to go.

07/06/2025: Nowadays, finding a dish that surprises you and makes you discover totally new flavors is definitely not easy. For this I am grateful to the chef. For example, I think that the spaghettoni with anemones and sea urchins can only be tasted here and it is really worth it! And in any case, all the dishes are prepared with care and attention to the raw materials. Just to give an example, for each dish the oil with which it is prepared is mentioned!

01/06/2025: Excellent. I don’t have a lot to say but this: The service is exceptional, the chief comes to present you your dishes, and everyone is nice. When it comes to the food, it’s simply amazing. And for the place itself, it’s decorated with taste and the place is calm.
